Trump has the right to do what's best for America, but Canada needs to start building a strong partnership with more stable and predictable countries like China and certain EU nations. Prime Minister Trudeau is boldly hitting the nails on the head, and I admire his boldness and honesty as I've always admired Canada and its peoples. Trump is in the back pocket of the Russian dictator. His actions prove it to my satisfaction. Canada has been a staunch friend of the US, a real partner not just for economic benefits for both countries but for a democratic way of life. Canada is a strong democracy whose people are known for their open hearts and minds. I pray that this idiotic trade war started by a man who is subservient to Putin will come to an end.
