To all those people saying the Indians took your jobs. You’re full of crap. Tons of work in this country to do. You are just too lazy to look for the right one. As much as I dislike seeing some of them making a bad name for the rest of Indians. The ones I know are very well educated people who come here to work. I’ve never seen a homeless Indian or one walking downtown drugged out of their faces. Every crack head and homeless person I see in any city in this country is straight up white, including the ones in your video. Go figure. Went to canada in 2005 ..... completed my masters in wireless....got honors...worked legally for 5 years ....applied for PR...with all legal.papers ....but got rejected and never given a reason..i felt so bad...and moved back to my home country (India )....worked in many major companies and became an expert in my field....travelled around the world happily..earnin and leisure...im happy canada rejected me...though the country is beautiful...it is makes everyone feel like a labor worker.....i feel privileged out of canada....God always gives best to good and honest people...

So brutal. I have a 15 year old looking for her first job and all her friends ate too. Guess what.....all those jobs we used to get as we entered the workforce are gone. Every single DQ A&W grocery store McDs etc jobs go to foreigners. So where will all the high school kids work? They are becoming despondent and depressed. It's really sad. You cannot afford a decent place to stay in big cities if you are not earning really really well. Yes, loneliness is there in Canada but you can make friends , join extracurricular activities. I do hate the health system but also I know that God forbid if I ever have a serious disease , I don’t have to pay for it through my nose like India. This lady is cribbing for nothing at all. I want to share my experience , me my husband and my 14 month old daughter landed in Canada Calgary on 28 June 2023, we stay for 2 weeks with our friends and start searching for apartment. Once we moved to our apartment we started looking for jobs, in the month of aug we both got a job I am working as deployment engineer and my husband is working as product owner, and a daycare for my daughter. We worked hard in searching jobs all day all night, and with the grace of god we got it. The life is tough every where, it is just the way you think of it. We left our well settle jobs in India before moving here, but yes with full determination. I want to encourage people here not to loose hope prepare a plan for your self and stick to it, you will eventually get it. All the best to all the new comers and those are planning ?❤

Unfortunately I was born there and wasted 23 years of my life there...but I made up for it spending the last 24 in Japan. God works in mysterious ways. :D It's just fucked up that I own 13 homes in Japan and even if I sold ALL of them, I could probably barely afford a DUMP in Vancouver...or maybe just an old condo. Moved from Hungary to Jordan becouse we want to know our 4 children in islamic environment. We have everyday our own challenges becouse my husband parents were refugees from Gaza. So we don't have jordanian citizenship, we don't have many basic rights(for exaple me as a nurse and physiotherapist can get a job here becouse in the healthcare only jordanian citizens can work). BUT facing with all these difficulties we still thanks to Allah that were able to took this step to move here to make our kids belief stronger and practice their religion much more easier. Cost of living is too high & taxes. Minimum wage don’t match reality. Highly educated or degree holders are great & still don’t appreciate how lucky they are. No matter how successful & achieved a good job professionally when you retire, they put you back below poverty as senior. Max government pension is about $1,600 . How can you afford decently & independently to live alone. Not enough to rent a bachelor apartment. Government housing nowadays gives priorities to new / refugees / non documented immigrants than real average Canadian citizen who works hard for years. Long waiting lists for affordable housing Thank God & to myself alone , I started early & fought for my well deserved affordable housing after I retired otherwise, no way I cannot live decently as a senior like others who didn’t contribute much during their early years to the government. Give priority to our own Canadian citizen regardless of their ethnicity before giving to new undocumented immigrants. \n?❤️??
