You want the immigrants gone, yet you whine about the wait time for doctors and medical services, many of which are provided by new comers to Canada and the United States. Canada and the US do not have a monopoly on brilliant people. They exist in every country around the world. To not recognize that does everyone a great disservice.

If we, as Americans, were to move to another country, like Sweden, we would be required to go through the process of becoming legal citizens. Every country in the world enforces its borders, so why is it considered wrong when we do the same?

Millions of people will be arrested and they will have to be in jails for months or years and that will cost billions more because we the taxpayers will pay for it. If the American families were more closer to eachother no one will take any property for others. Let's love more eachother as Jesus said instead to build hate against others. Similar has happened to Surrey/North Delta British Columbia of the 400,000 residents living here,179,000 are from India. I remember years ago when Brampton was a small quaint town back in the 1970s this India didn't exist. After the COVID outbreak, II quit my job and traveled all around the world, including 1yr staying in Toronto. During that period, I experienced firsthand the inflation and social challenges Canada was facing. After much thought, I came to the same realization as you—I need to leave my home country. Ironically, I’m about to move to the very place you're leaving.???I admire your courage in embracing this new challenge and hope you find a place you'll truly love. I’d like to share a humble opinion I’ve thought during my travels and followed news from everywhere. The surging housing price, cost of living, homelessness, social unrest, and immigration concerns are global issues, particularly in so-called developed countries. I believe these aren't just problems unique to Canada but part of a wider systemic issue. Every society is attempting to tackle these problems in its own way. There's no perfect haven, so it’s crucial to consider whether a society's approach to solving these issues aligns with your own values. Every country in the world is not as good to live in as before covid. Good luck on finding a country that is better than Canada. Perhaps Denmark or Norway? Certainly not the US.

So i cannot fully criticize the whole scenerio ! Might this protest have something thats really infringing human rights or students rights ! But what i criticize is the thinking, the mindset and the rat race among Indians - I would criticize this even if there is a protest going on or not !

Hi guys..i want to explain 99% of people those are protesting belongs to indian province of Punjab. It's interesting that after decades of admitting immigrants from all over the world and celebrating it, a number of Western countries have changed their minds these past few months. All of the reasons in the video for denying people entry into Canada, or any other country, have probably been around for many years, so it's odd that the number of entry rejections has only recently shot up. Why not just exclusively adopt the skill qualification as the criteria for granting PR status like 20-30 years ago. Isnt that the minimum every 1st world countries should require?They can bring their immediate spouses and children BUT do away with allowing old parents or Grandparents. It doesnt make sense to bring someone too old to contribute to the economy. Even if they do menial jobs, it wouldnt make an impact as they havent contributed enough to the system.\nAnd for heavens sake STOP the temporary foreign workers program. The jobs they are getting arent even under “skilled” category. That should be left for young Canadians or PR Canadians who needs entry level work.

Just remember that a lot of people have a before and after view. Back in the day a school photo looked like a meeting of every country and now in some areas, those photos look like one country only. My point is that people grew up in a multicultural environment. Very rarely did one group have so much impact with so few people in such a short time. The long and short of it is stop driving like an entitled @$$, mow the lawn, don't be the loudest people, don't crowd, have large gatherings in public areas where you take over some place so that nobody can use it. Some people just want to get in, get their stuff and go home. I understand that the 2 countries in the world with the largest population like to be very sociable and crowd together, but neither of the two groups want to follow rules, laws or be considerate of other people. It's all about them and how they want to live. Imagine you've been paying taxes and following the laws and being considerate of other your whole life and someone coming to the country and making no effort to behave.

Beauty lies in eyes and love in hearts of people. Likes and dislikes are not based on physical things but person's values which varies from one to another. Beauty is not defined it is found in heart and mind. I lived and worked in 5 countries and found the nicest things in all including people. Diversity of landscape and people create our world most beautiful. How can you even rank without diversity of nature, landscape and of course people. I discovered most beautiful things about some of the countries when I came across what my heart said BEAUTIFUL and not statistics. Biggest beauty in world is the way you accept things as they are and find good in the very opportunity you had to discover our beautiful world. This is what I will say for Canada. Canada is very beautiful with its diversity regarding landscape, nature and of course beautiful people who are hard working, loving, and most of all able to find beauty in every single thing about country. True harmony comes from accepting differences.

It appears that the huge increase of immigrants to Canada came at the expense of poor screening process by Immigration Canada. It is true that you can't demand higher education for people you expect to perform menial jobs, but no one wants these jobs especially in a country with such high living costs, and such poor outlook of social advancement. Every society on earth have a lower social segment of uneducated and poor individuals. Unfortunately a portion of these lower class Indians landed in Canada, and aren't contributing to their new country, or to India itself. As usual, they generally are single young males; a similar situation can be appreciated in Europe with Muslim and African individuals. I can't say how many times I've received calls or e-mails from scammers from India, Pakistan, Russia, Nigeria, and China. We, in the West as common citizens, are the targets of criminals around the world trying to exploit us. If landed immigrants aren't of any positive influence to Canada, they should be denied citizenship and expelled from the country.

I'm 52 years old and a Canadian citizen my whole life. Canada has always been a welcoming country. I have friends from every part of the world here in Canada. But in the couple years there has been a brutal influx of Indians in Canada. My build alone had maybe 3 Indian households. Now more than 60% of the building is indians. And the problem is 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We use to have 1 garbage bin in the basement. Now we have 3 and they are over flowing and they leave garbage everywhere( I've watched them do it). Not everyone has house keys so they leave the security door open all hours of the day allowing criminals to get into the building. They have shit in the laundry room and the garage(I have seen this happen). They smoke in the building halls and lobby. They Dont use laundry detergent when washing their clothes so the laundry machines stink really bad. I have to was the laundry machine before even putting my clothes in.Also they have taken every job in the business in my neighborhood. They aren't very friendly. They come into my restaurant and act like entitled brats and hang out for 6 to 7 hours in groups of 20 and don't tip. They're loud and demanding. Now our regular client's have stopped coming. Since these new Indians have come here they have tainted everything. I have never been a racist individual in my whole life. My family is very diverse. We are white, black, packistan, and Asian. In the last 3 years I am so disgusted in the quality of people that have been coming to this country. The biggest group is Indians. I'm sorry but be don't need any more of these assholes. We have enough of our own assholes

I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! Employees in Walmart, Costco, Tim Hortons (especially!), etc., are seen standing around, chatting with each other in their Indian languages instead of being professionally attentive to customers. The shopping experience is not pleasant like it was 25 years ago!! Your remarks are not harsh and Indians NEED to take it personally and be embarrassed into doing the necessary to make the changes they need to. We immigrated to Canada not to come to 'another India' - we came to Canada and would like to live in this country to appreciate it's uniqueness and contribute to maintaining it the way it has been!
