I think it is time to use all the unused land to grow our vegetation and any thing else that gets planted to use for the Canadian. Canada, tell me: What is the difference between an assistant drama teacher and a smart person? A drama teacher will fight a losing battle against an economic giant that doesn't need Canada as much as Canada needs him. For Americans, the high cost of Canadian goods will just make them turn to non-Canadian substitute products; for Canadians, we cannot help but buy US products despite the higher costs because we don't have a lot of alternatives. All these years US has a trade deficit of 1 trillion dollars every year. With tariffs we could have recovered 250 billion every year. That is a lot of money. Currently every American owes $110,000 because of the accumulated debt of 36.5 trillion.\n\nJustin, how long are we supposed to bend back wards while US has a trade deficit of trillion dollar over the past 20 years. Why cant to you balance the imports and exports so that you don't have to keep taking advantage of USA. CNN did not see the trade deficit every single year for 20 years? what are they talking about? I was glad that not too long ago... Trump actually did say the truth to the American people: Canada imports 95% of it's goods from the USA... with us refusing to buy American, with all of us buying Canadian or International products instead... how will he be making America great again ?? Maybe these tariffs and our President may finally get you to allow into Canada as much as we do into the USA! Trying to play a game of tariff against President Trump will not do Canadians any good.
