I have no intention of leaving but everything you guys said is 100% true. There isn’t enough things to do for recreation here. And the places we do have for recreation are hours away. Niagara Falls, canadas wonderland, great wolf lodge, CNE. They’re all in the boonies and you can only get to them if you have a car but even then they’re expensive and you still need to drive 1-2 hours back home. Unless you live close to these establishments going to these places happens 1-2 times in a whole year. It’s really a shame because even though they’re expensive I really love going to these places. If I can change one thing about my country I’d say we need tons more recreation spots. We really just live to work at this point and it’s not fun.

You guys don't know what you're talking about. People in poor countries want to come to Canada. Its Obviously better staying in Canada than in other third world countries. If you don't like it in Canada why not go back to where you came from? The taxes are expensive because that's what It takes to fund the security and law& order you're seeing here. You can actually make a lot of money even with the taxes you pay, become and entrepreneur or become a doctor or some other high paying profession and then you wouldn't have to worry about the taxes. As for the ''being boring '' you're probably a new immigrant and don't know a lot of places here where you can go for fun. You have to review what you're saying 100%

i cant see how living in canada could be boring. What do you do consider fun.? Canada has so many outdoor sports and beautiful scenery and places to visit. I actually skipped that part of the video. I dont live in Canada but I had visited many many years ago.

As for skilled workers, applies everywhere as you need to relearn laws, policies etc and cannot get into any professional role just like that. As for work-life balance, you get plenty here unless you are working non professional jobs. It is much worse in the US as you work crazy hours professionals or not although, has more fun things to do than Canada. What you can do is take mini vacations during long weekends etc by driving down to the US or a different city here in Canada to break the monotony.

Im Asian and I love Vancouver! The weather is beautiful and mild! I enjoy the rainy days cozying up with nice jazz music on gorgeous cafes and restaurants Vancouver has. It is expensive yes, however if your Asian its not, you just havent explored the Asian market place, cheap housing are also available in the outskirt cities and the best part of it is you are near the beaches and outdoor recreation and fun! Taxes are high yep thats true however with three different surgeries my family had from Apendicitis, to Gall bladder stone removal and stent angioplasty that could have cost us millions but got it for free, also the Free education, Child support, CERB, etc, taxes doesnt seem to matter anymore. British Columbia's mountain ranges, ski resort, hot springs, also Albertas Banf, Jasper, and Canmore for me are truly majestic safe and beautiful! Ive been all around South east Asia Europe and even the middle east however the welcoming nature and culture of Canadians and the power of a canadian Passport for me trumps all other cities in other countries. If you want to learn extreme news go to Asia like, China, North Korea, and the Philippines, also the USA the most extreme of them all! Rules are indeed frustrating but Canadian rules are nothing compared to Singapore, if you want freedom try India, try to walk in sexy clothing on the streets. In the Philippines everybody drives drunk specially on Friday nights. The Canadian mindset of a Multi cultural communinty and the welcoming athmosphere of their thinking for me is the reason why Canada is truly the best place to live.

Fun Fact : In Canada racism is not only towards black canadians, it is for anybody who is absolutely not white and lastname doesn't start with Mac/Mc. I have family who live in BC. It is very very expensive to live in this province. Beautiful but expensive. If you are not wealthy expect to exist not live in BC. Moving to Atlantic Canada can equal the difference between existing and truly living. Halifax has warmer summers cooler winters than Vancouver. A super fun hot, dare I say sexy waterfront. I'd take Halifax with its five universities and rapidly growing downtown. Saying BC is most beautiful means that you have not seen Western Newfoundland. Like the best of Norway.

I am from Pakistan. Studied and lived in USA for over 10 years. Don't know where my time has gone so fast. Life is very busy in usa (I lived in Chicago, Denver, Orange County, CA and LA. People have to work two jobs to ends meet. Most people have to share housing...that really sucks. Constant expense (rent or mortgage payments are so high people have to constantly work. Whatever time people get they run chores and stay home and chill. You see ultra rich or people on welfare having fun at the beach. I have had a very close friend from pakistan came to usa same time as I did. we both never had enough time to meet up on regular basis. even when we met we had so many things in back of our minds running. I had couple of girlfriends (of course at different times) but they had other boyfriends at the same time. And number one thing they had on their mind is was get money from you. What you wear and drive is what you are. People consider you obsolete if you wear non branded shoes or older models of branded shoes. I traveled extensively in the US and Canada. But in East Europe like Romania and Poland I found people very friendly. Now I am back in pakistan facing basic problems like traffic jams, noisy honking streets and so on but for some reason i feel worriless and relax. whenever i go out, people start to talk to you and you feel like home. everyone is super friendly and is available for help. however you cant really trust people with money though. hahahha. After living in USA for so long I do really miss many things about it though. the efficient system is definitely a big plus. and i have realized that some times i like being all alone for extensive period of times. but knowing that i can meet up anyone any time gives me peace of mind. i have realized hard way that man made martials can amuse you to some extent only. you need live beings are you.

We tried to move to Ottawa but we couldn’t leave Quebec. It’s our home and we got homesick fast. Montreal is a fun city and the restaurants are the best. Sure the taxes are high but we have great affordable daycare systems, great restaurants and overall great homes. All of Canada is great my heart will always be in Quebec

I think people who leave canada are mostly from cities because they have to pay high tax and high cost of living compare to villages .I want to come to canada as a big operator of farming and the other main reason that western and european people mostly waste their money on shit things and become poor,they want to have lavish life,explore and fun whereas central asia is totally opposite so I dont think this is problem for asians

One of the dumbest videos ever. I’m an immigrant in the US (now a citizen), except for lack of jobs and weather every thing you talk about applies any where for an immigrant. I wanted to go back when I first moved to the US but fought it out with a low paying job before I ended up becoming an Executive. It’s not just Canada - for brown folks like me moving to Russia would be even worse! Also no immigrant leaves Canada in winter to vacation elsewhere in the world unless they are retired or rich. Manitoba would be ranked top 3.... its cold? Probably no different than any other province. Rarely snows and is probably the most fun province to be in the winter. So many festivals and outdoor events. It has a NHL team to enjoy. Spring and fall is #1 in manitoba of all in Canada. Most beautiful summers and has the nicest beaches and lakes in Canada. Not 1 province can compete with summer life. So how would you rank it #10??.... they make more Hollywood films in Winnipeg than Toronto/Vancouver. Jobs? Education? Rivals any city in Canada. Too much!!! People is extremely obedient at the point that some love the gov takes decisions over them and their kids…. \n\n2. Political correctness and not many autentique people. \n\n3. Not social life or limited social life. \n\n4. Lack of fun and the few cool things you can do are too expensive. \n\n5. Winter for 3 or 4 months it is ok…. But 6? Well said. Me and my wife were lucky to find very goods jobs and have a good living here. Most of our time here has been during Covid. Prices are crazy, we can not dream of a house even though we are high income earners. No any real friend connection. No fun. Even health care is slow and it is scary to go for a test because of waiting times. Big lockdowns, forced vaccination, limited freedom, no functional society. For people who come from problematic countires Canada can be great. For us who just came here because we heard that Canada is great and we had no problems before comming here, is a disappointment. We are now preparing to exit Canada.

I know Canada is not perfect and I find you’re a bit hard on the red maple leaf... just because you don’t find the same things as your native country. It’s like\nfrench people coming from France, going to Quebec province an complaining about the food, the weather etc... well we’re not France, sorry to say! But I can\ntry to understand your situation; it’s probably inevitable that the comparison between your country and Canada would show up eventually. I see regularly \nimmigrants moving here and it’s true that it’s not easy. (Some people will have to be cab drivers because they can’t find work in their field). But you have\nopportunities if you work hard. I have the example of a Russian truck driver who move here with his family (wife, two kids). The man started by working for\na general transport company, then was able to buy his own truck. Now he’s able to work with whoever he wants. So I think every experience is different.\nOne other thing I noticed is that for families coming here it will always be easier for kids (even teens) to adapt quicker then their parents. I live in the east\n(the maritimes) and there is not very large cities. Some immigrants that come here will stay for a while but then they would move to a larger city (like\nToronto) because that city must have the most ethnic diversity in Canada. For cultural differences true that Canadians are like Americans in the «none»\nfashion trending. It’s a different mentality then Europe because over there fashion is a statement; you are judge on your appearance. Here, not as much.\nIt shows you don’t like winter and if you don’t your not a real Canadian! :-) Don’t generalize, a lot of people here like winter. And for taxes I don’t have a clear\nexplanation other then we have a huge empty country that needs roads, infrastructures, etc. and someone has to pay for it! Work ethnic, I wonder, even productivity, very sure they are no where to Japanese or korean, even to Europeans, I was very lucky left the country after going through the weather, people, migrants plus government rules and regulations that was in 88, was in Winnipeg, now it takes me few hours to Thailand puket to enjoy life. Canada is going down the toilet. I’ve lived here most of my life, born and raised, and it’s just a disgrace now. Forget about all the obvious things that have been stated like ridiculously overpriced homes, high taxes, crap weather etc. \nOne thing I’ve really become more aware of throughout my years here after travelling abroad is that Canadians are truly boring people. My parents and my little sister moved 3 years ago in Quebec, I went there once to visit and it was actually a beautiful place to be. I'm french so we don't really have the same mindset BUT we get used to it. People are kinda nice and there is so much stuff to do ^^ I plan to go back visit them but also to visit Toronto and Vancouver. It'll be fun. I have been bullied and made fun of by Chinese Canadians in high school. And now people think I am Chinese, how ridiculous. Do I need to wear a t-shirt saying I’m not Chinese? \nThis is just an excuse for white Canadians to justify their racism. I don’t have anything against Chinese Canadians but Asia isn’t China, it is comprised of many countries. I’m planning to leave Canada because of the increase of Asian racism.

I'm calling bs. I grew up in Scarborough, the schools in my area were mixed Caribbean, Canadian, European, Indian (and other South asain), Chinese (and other East Asian), middle Eastern, African, Latino, everyone went to the same school. Everyone's families were and are poor going through the same struggle. By the time I got to highschool I took the higher level courses, I went to class everyday, I wasn't a smart kid I didn't get to uni, I took a bridging program in college and got into uni. It's not hard to climb the latter in Canada if you work for it. Meanwhile at the same school a large percentage of Carribean and Somalian black students do not go to class, they skip, they dont care. In fact these same kids picked and made fun of the Asian kids that did go to school. They have zero respect imo. You can call me whatever you want I am just speaking my personal experience. School never seemed like a priority to them. I'm not Chinese or Indian but those 2 cultures always seemed like the hardest working. Those kids went to every class and got the best grades. Again Caribbean and Somalian black students in my area were more likely to be distruptive in class and get into fights. As were Greek kids and Canadian/Irish white kids. I am only pointing out the black students in relation to this video. Personal accountability is important, I don't disagree there is problems with the system but let's not act like there isn't a problem within black and even poor white culture itself. Sometimes you have to look in the mirror.

Tim hortons is all over in the U.S. and for some reason my sons new girl friend from Canada had to come here to become an eye doctor Weird. Student visa I guess. And we took her for breakfast the other day at a Cracker Barrel restaurant and she never had a biscuit before. She loved them She said it was similar to some indigenous food but the biscuit was much better oh she tried the grits. It was fun she’s a good sport

growing up in canada, i felt left out in the blk community b/c i am a 5th generation blk cdn on mom's side and 3rd on my dad's - when other black ppl not canadian born met me - i tell them i'm cdn, but i always used to get the question - where are you really from - they were looking for me to say the islands - when i told them my paternal grandma was born in 1901 in canada - that's when the questions stopped. i've been told that b/c i wasn't from the islands, i had no culture in college, but a mbr of the black student society put him in his place i heard he got into a lot of trouble. i was asked what do we eat as in food as canadians what kind of music do we listen to - at our blk canadian weddings, the only carribean song played was hot hot hot by arrow - we played straight up r and b and motown. i hv been rejected by other blk men b/c i'm not west indian enough...it was hurtful. even with 'friends' they made of my cdn heritage but i used to think, why are you making fun of me knowing that my family and ancestors were in canada first - they were 1st generation - i live in the usa now and i'm with an african american man - he has never treated me as if i were different and he loves going w/me to canada. my parents told me it was jealousy on those ppl's parts - one guy i used to be friends with in college, when i went to his house, his mom was from the islands, when she met me - she said, 'you cdn ppl are loud' and that did it for me - i didn't date her son but when he met my parents, they never said any of that crap to him. in the usa, the african americans don't treat differently at all - my ex mom in law thought we were american but decided to live in canada - b/c she was surprised that blacks do live in canada. her other daughter in law's family were from the islands - but she gravitated more to my family and felt comfortable around them more than her family and this ex sis in law would brag about the islands this and that and she would make comments about my looks being skinny and such but it was jealousy - i didn't care much for her b/c she was very insecure. i felt once again, i was a young girl in college again - being around island ppl....i would love to meet drake and ask him did he feel left out and isolated because he wasn't from the islands - he makes me very proud being a blk canadian - his dad is african american and his mom is jewish. i still hv dealt w/racism not much with wht ppl, but with my own ppl - which is quite sad and on top of it-colorism, that also played a part from my family - being called pygmy, chocolate dip, nappy hair - it hurt but these so called relatives, they aren't all that anymore, they had hard lives as children...when ppl see something in you that is special and they don't have, that's when their ugliness shows -
