Trump insists on an apology from Zelensky because he claimes that Zelensky showed him respect - and at the same time Trump calls Justin Trudeau - who is the Prime Minister of Canada - for governor. Talk about showing respect. So I'm going to call Trump a smallminded, vindictive megalomaniac, a pathological liar and a sick narcissistic baby. Nobody respects Trump; they fear him because he is an unreliable madman with a lot of military strenght and (so far) economic strenght he can threaten everybody with. Pictures of Stalin and Hitler must be hanging in his bedroom...

Funny how a lot of Canadians complained about Trudeau, the wokeness etc. Albeit reasonably so, Practically praising Trump, until these idiotic tariffs. Now we have Canada united and in a fighting patriotic mood against Trump. UK probably gonna go the same way thanks to Vance. A lesson in hubris.

Canada already taxes US imports at an average of 25%, so these US tariffs only balance the playing field. All that said, like Zelensky, Trudeau seems to forget that Canada needs the US, but the US doesn't need Canada. He says that it is going to be tough in Canada; true. On the other hand, the average American probably won't even notice a difference. But the neverending, desperate anti-Trump narrative twisting is all CNN knows.

I see all these other comments saying how polite and eloquent he is compared to Trump, but you can seem polite and screw people over at the same time. I'm just confused on the admiration for Trudeau in the comments, because I haven't heard anything good about him or what he's got going on. Idk, just take the tariff hit and keep moving if Canada's got everything under control. \n\nI'm open to both sides if anyone has any input. As a US citizen, who voted for Trump three times, i never thought id agree with Trudeau. \nThe US cannot win a trade war, the US versus the world. Trudeau has shown is that Canada can be forced to implement irrational and costly programs (fentanyl/border security) while otherwise listing off every reason the United States has for annexing Canada. It should also be stated I'm not a fan of Trudeau at all, but I commend him for helping out with the fentanyl situation. Also I don't like how Trump is Siding with Russia. However I do understand his stance on not wanting to continue to send Money to Ukraine to keep the war going on longer, As we have sent them Billions of Dollars in the last three years. However as a US citizen I also have to state the the US has a history of supporting countries that were invaded in the past, which we have done up to this point in Ukraine.
