These individuals (refugees, etc.) are receiving government funding of $ 10,000 a month. They boast on TikTic that if you come to Canada as a refugee, the government gives you free housing and $85K a year. You do not have to work, As soon as they arrive in Canada, they are driving expensive cars, getting free food from Costco, getting credit cards from the bank and purchasing houses. They drive Teslas, BMWs, and the most expensive cars that they could have never ever owned in their country. The healthly men do not work and live a luxurious life all at the expense of we the tax payers. Meanwhile, hard-working, tax-paying Canadians are living paycheck to paycheck. I became homeless after spending over 2 months in the ICU of a Toronto hospital barely walking in was taken to a Toronto city shelter and for 5 years I've been in 5 different Toronto shelters in what seemed like a blink of a eye every shelter became 80% north African Muslim men ,they were given cash allowances to buy their own food $80 a day plus welfare cheques once a month boosted up with TTC allowance $157 clothing allowances and yes they were all given money to buy laptops and smart phones apparently so they can keep in touch with their families back in Africa, in the last shelter I stayed in there was only 6 white Canadian born homeless people living there and 94 north Africans whom we started to notice were being housed only to have the next one take up their cott space housed yes and when we started looking into how they were getting housed so fast when we were apparently on a 37,000 name waiting list for housing with our housing workers telling us it will take 10 years if we are lucky then we found out about the secret housing program that these fresh off the boat immigrants were getting market value apartments of their choice you pick the government pays one African we befriended ( he wasn't a believer in Islam shush or they'll kill him) got a 1 bedroom condo apartment over looking Toronto's Island airport $2,700 a month and the government payed for all his furnishings, so now we knew and we approached the on site housing workers asking why we weren't told about COHB at first they tried to deny it existed but researching we had all the information first these COHB forms were to be handed out to those with seniority length of stay so as to cut out on abuse being that they are worth over $250,000 after ten years of paying your rent as in free housing for life , then we discovered the staff were making false entries on our files claiming some of us lost our seniority for fighting claiming we were kicked out for 14 days others for smoking violations what they didn't think we knew was on admission to any shelter you sign a agreement that they are videoing you and keeping a file on you that also stated we are allowed to have up to date copies of our files then during the 2 weeks we were supposedly kicked out we asked for the videos from that period once they realized we had a advocate working for us who a l so supplies lawyers to us should we need so they got caught then management called us all up for a meeting and that's when we hit him with a bombshell yes the shelters are staffed with immigrants from the same African countries this Hoard is coming from and we have a sworn statement saying they are charging $10,000 for these guaranteed housing forms yes $10,000 that's what our none Muslim African shelter friend payed for his form and why he's now living free in easily close to a million dollar condo and believe me the cars parked there show it, ok so after we busted them guess what 6 whites who were all born in Canada and have lived a average of 3.5 years in a shelter all got housed in apartments of our choosing mind we did get ours fully furnished by the government like all these illegal Christian hating islamists get free housing free food free clothing free medical free dental free prescription drugs and a free huge monthly welfare cheque Rebel news please contact us we want every Canadian to know what's going on and how we Canadians are being left out, p.s just go to any money transfer business at the end of the month and you'll see line ups of these north Africans wiring money back to their wives and families even boxing up all the mountains of free clothing sending it to Africa same what they're doing with all the prescription drugs they are getting for free everything is about making money taking taking taking not putting anything back , now I sleep soundly no one stealing my belongings no more catching a different cold every week no more being called a filthy infidel which seems to be their favorite word COHB look that up and if your living paycheck to paycheck working 2 jobs just get to a shelter say one with 94 Africans who will all be housed shortly leaving you the most seniority easy peasy but remember to keep a eye on your file for false entries or borrow $10,000 to buy one

My Granparents, parents, settled the homestead in 1896 near Rossland BC. How it used to work, how things are supposed to work, is the Government serves the needs and demands of the people. The people don't serve the Government nor any Corporation or Public/Private Partnership. This means that the Government doesn't prevent people from doing what they do and they don't use force to extort the fruit of everyone's labor to the point of enslavement. In 1896 and throughout my Grandfather's life from 1902 to 1976, one would do for themselves if they weren't working for someone else. In other words, you found something needed be done, something the community around you required or was lacking, you opened shop and got after it. You can't work today because you require licensing for everything, you require permission for everything, everything is regulated. People have it in their minds that it's so much better today then it was then, that it's "safer". But it's not, that's a lie. My family, although never wealthy, ate good food, always had a roof over their heads, plenty of family around and always had something to do or at least could always find something to work at. Most importantly, they always had hope because they had freedom. No one has any hope anymore and the people coming here aren't just bringing their culture to overtake our culture, they are coming with anger. With envy, resentment and malice. My family didn't come here with those things, they came to Canada with hope and determination to integrate and prosper with freedom. The other side of my family fled Bolshevism when they left Russia and came here and that side had the exact same hope in freedom to work hard and prosper. Now all generational wealth, freedom, prosperity and hope is all but completely stolen. We don't need more regulations. We don't need more benefits. We don't need more Government. We need less, we need it all to go away because I know for a fact, you give people the freedom to go about their lives, the society or community they form, always tends towards peaceful, prosperous organization. You give people the freedom to build and produce and they'll get after it immediately and that opens the door for all other manner of trades and skills that just fill any hole in a community or society. And that's a fact about the organizational tendencies of human beings. There's nothing stopping us from providing for ourselves but a cartel Government in the business of extortion and human enslavement. They foment chaos and division in order to justify the revoking of more freedoms to enslave more people. People themselves, they look to get along, get to work, raise families and, as best they can, enjoy life. Once we start expecting a Government to take care of us we've institutionalized prisoners who have lost all human dignity. When you "buy in" to all the rhetoric of so called autonomy, ask yourself, how autonomous are you without a family? Just because you're alone in a box in a city, stacked one on top of the other, weighted down by a landslide of rules, collecting benefits from the Government, doesn't make you autonomous. People say, "no one can afford a family". Yet those coming in have large families and they seem to be making out just fine. It's the brainwashing of our culture that set us up. Over time we've convinced the proper way to do things is everyone to grow up and go their own way, leaving each other relying on benefits from the government in old age or illness or whatever calamity might strike in life. There's always something that comes along. With family you have human resource, a plethora of skills and you have your "insurance", free of extortion. Everything that comes from a government is conditional and sooner or later their conditions rule over our condition, even though it's our labor that provides for them. The answer isn't more benefits, as I've said. The answer is simply less government, so we can all get to the business of providing for ourselves and helping our communities prosper. We need to do this with family because alone, we are all isolated and powerless. No one stands alone and a house divided cannot stand.

The Liberals and their woke ideology are ruining Canada. Canada's aging population means we need immigration, but not when things like housing, jobs, and healthcare etc are already beyond maxed out. People are hating unfairly on immigrants when it is the government is at fault for not managing immigration better. I am an immigrant, I have never felt that any one group is forcing anything on me. I live my life, pay taxes, do my civic duties , mind my business , don't bother anyone and try to get along with everyone regardless . So I often wonder who is truly Canadian and if you are of "colour" will you forever be a hyphenated Canadian even if you are 3, 4 , 5 th or multigenerational born and bred in Canada. The high cost of living and unaffordabilty of housing is one thing, declining national fertility rates another and immigration is another. Canada's immigration system has lowered the bar big time. What happened to their mandate after '67 that was supposed to be focused on permitting entry to only skilled immigrants? Now, they're letting any immigrant with a pulse come in. As a result, rents and housing prices have skyrocketed, and now the average Canadian can no longer afford to buy a home. No jobs and no housing? Why not build more small, affordable homes while expanding your cities? Why not create more jobs? Don't you want to grow and focus less on the USA and Trump? CANADA does NOT HAVE a 'Housing Crisis". The housing crisis is in Vancouver & Toronto, because we let ALL the immigrants move there. But there are a thousand small towns across the country that need immigrants to stop from becoming ghost towns. If there is a labor shortage in essential fields, Canada can offer long-term residency to those who continue to work in those sectors, such as caretakers. However, the pathway to citizenship could be lengthened or require a higher standard. For instance, the requirements could extend from X years of living in Canada to X+5 years, as well as passing a basic Canadian citizenship test, either written or verbal. While an increase of five years may seem unfair or lengthy, it is essential. A newborn child from a Canadian family requires 18 years to gain voting rights in elections, whereas new immigrants—especially those who come for study for four to six years—can potentially gain both citizenship and voting rights sooner if they meet the previous administration's standard. The investment in home buying as a pathway to citizenship has contributed to the housing crisis, resulting in numerous empty homes in various regions. While it may offer short-term economic benefits that some politicians favor, it is detrimental to Canada as a whole. If buying a house is the only requirement for citizenship, wouldn't a large portion of the global population be eligible for U.S. citizenship just by investing in U.S. businesses or stocks? This perspective may seem illogical when looking at it from outside the box. Apologies for being a bit wordy; I had much more to say. Nonetheless, I also support temporary residency for up to 6-9 months for those who have been evacuated due to war, natural disasters, or similar circumstances. Special exceptions can be granted for families with members working in critical fields that merit such considerations (high-end industry).

These immigrants were scheduled to leave anyway. They were well aware of it. So, it is not based on new immigration rules. Countries like the United States of America, Canada, and Australia, New Zealand, and many parts of South America all grew with immigration. People in these countries that have been around a generation or more who decide to pull up the ladder have short memories from where they came. Regarding housing, it is always been and issue in many places and is affected by foreign investors and interest rates. Usually at some point there is a correction, some people win some people lose.

American here. My take? This is not about protectionism this is about isolationism. \nWhy would Trump want this? This is about becoming the first American dictator of the Western Hemisphere. \nHyperbolic? Nope. Trump controls the Senate, House, Doge, Project 2025 is in the White House, all the branches of the Defense Department, the Attorney General and his offices, six of the nine seats on the Supreme Court, and assigned over 250 Federal judgeships to the Federal courts which are a lifetime appointment. The ONLY thing that is standing in the way of Trump are the Federel judges that actually understand the constitution and do not want to destroy this nation. The fly in the ointment? Courts can issue an order based on the constitution or our laws, but does not have any way to enforce them if Trump should just disregard their order. That is how close we are to a dictatorship.\nWake Up America.?\n P.S. Sorry Canada! Coalesce, find new trade partners, and leave the United States behind. We are no longer worthy of your friendship.

So now the government in Canada wants to defend us & tell us to stand united but in the past decade this country has turned into trash as they gave it away with an open door of Indians taking over and not giving AF about the people born and raised here - the adds on the radio ask us to keep our money in Canada and untie, but we dont even have a Canadian culture left anymore and people living here long enough know its true unfortunately, this was a great place to live but they destroyed it long before this issue - cost of living, housing crisis, immigration, gangs, crime etc. - If they want to keep letting people in here then start a service to help us get out and relocate before asking for help from the people you hurt

Thank you for separating the american people from the very small percentage of those in the White House administration behind these actions. Most americans are not in agreement with any of what's coming out of the president's office. He's lost sight of what American really stands for - and that his role, along, with those of his administration, are paid servants. Obligated to SERVE every citizen of their country - including representing and fulfilling the wishes of the people they serve. Whether they like all the people or agree with the needs of all the people. The people of our country don't want what's happening with Canada, Mexico or Ukraine. Or Russia for that matter. As an American, I’m deeply sorry for what we’ve become by electing this orange idiot into the White House.
