Surgeries wait time is 1 to 2 yr. Everything has a waiting list. Inflation is present since the time I entered in Canada.\nGrocery prices are touching the sky. What we earn we spend. Its hand to mouth situation.\n90% products are from China. Its just grass is greener on the other side for the people who want to settle in Canada. There are absolutely no jobs. I live in a small city and see many indians kids doing Uber eats and Instacart deliveries for survival. The rent here is cad 2200$ 1bhk(approx.1.30lakh) for a small single share room its 70k. College here are scams, they take students to earn tuition fees.\nDo your proper research.

The enrollment also must ring a bell to the students. How does a college or university enroll only indian students not other demography.\nSomeone is reaping off these poor people

To my knowledge working at college all the Indian international students are rich which is why they can afford the fee and that’s paid by their parents

Kudos to you for this video. My very optimistic view is good intentions did not produce expected results. Government should be understood as municipality, provincial and federal. Also inequality and joblessness in India has pushed more young people to for opportunities elsewhere. Who allowed sprouting of colleges? Who monitors renting of housing to students? What is responsibility of councillors MPPs and MPs? Irrespective of parties many of these elected positions of all levels are Indians. I agree with your thesis that Indians are mostly to blame. This prevents the right type needed migration and talent scouting that government needs.

This is very telling and confims what we already knew. Many students are NOT here to study. Most are not. The student visas, which the liberals hand out like candy on Halloween, are simply an easily abused way of getting residency. And the liberals fell for it all hook line and sinker, letting in millions of students who will never leave, and who will then bring in their families as part of the liberal unification. This was their plan all along. Let's face it, Canada does not have an enviable education system. Why would an Indian student pay all that money to come to Canada to go to school, when they can easily get the same education for almost nothing in india? Back door immigration tactics. My kid just started college. His classes were of course stuffed full of international students on the first day or two. Now they don't come at all. They didn't come to Canada to study.

International students have no rights to protest other than study, which is why they come in the first place. Canada or US didn’t go to india and say please come. I think Canada should stop taking students through consultants in India. It is in India that people are selling false info and the students are blaming Canadian government. Even India has immigration rules and they are also strict in enforcing. Plus international students have to pay 10x more in Indian top colleges than local Indian. Rules are rules and should be followed or don’t come.

There is more to this story than this report says. It’s complicated. I have seen behaviour of students once here. How much support they get from families? If they have to pay their tuition , housing and other living expenses they seem to have to work more than what they are allowed. Overcrowding of homes lack of housing spots not gaining knowledge and skills required. Fine tuning reason for need for immigration and developing qualities in immigrants that countries vye for. Changing the composition of population should not be the problem. Creating conditions for getting the right fit is needed. Point system was good I think but too slow to fill the gap of people needed. Municipalities and province are also to be accountable. How do they manage the fast changes. This student route to immigration started less than a decade ago. I find the speed with which housing needs increased mushrooming of colleges increased and beneficiaries of facilitators that responded to market demands have I think created the problem. A grass roots observation. Seeing just a portion of the problem.

YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. If you and rest of new immigrants don't see the problem yet, I'll continue. 95% of taxis have Indian drivers, 98% food and other delivery Indian, 90%+ convenience and groceries, clothing and all stores 90%+ , vehicles on roads 70% Indian, my son barely got into college with 90%+ Indian population in college and his class is 2 white students, himself only mixed , and 2 Africans and 22 Indian students who cheats on a regular basis but professor afraid to confront as they are quick to call racism. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. Now you come here and benefits from black and indigenous peoples struggles and claiming rights when you have not been fighting the battles with us or for us. Also, the criminal aspects of your community is not being taked about as well which includes extortion to businesses owned by Indians, car thefts, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other criminal activities. International students are charged double the fees almost like $15,000 a year. I am sure alot of their fees are paying for the wages of Canadians that work at universities and colleges, so I guess that's not a problem but if international students take up low paying service jobs and pay taxes that is a problem. People have to understand that no international student would take hefty loans to fly half way around the planet and spend $17000-20000 per semester to study! There ain't no Oxford or Cambridge level university in Canada. The government knows this. The government found easy influx of money, and looked at international students as cash cows for a long long time. Representatives from public universities go to other countries to invite more students. The whole system was rigged to extract money. Circumstances are such that everybody will blame the students, but none will focus on the root cause. The top bosses have filled their pockets and bought lavish properties in GTA and the States. Now, they can close those colleges and universities.

While legally they have no rights to protest, this government was complicit in selling the dream to the international student. They were told this is a pathway for pr and many did receive PR following that process.\nFunny thing is that I know international students continue to arrive. Cambrian college in Sudbury ON should be investigated. As a student there, I can tell you there is more of them then there is us. And half of them never even show up to class, and then wanna cry and protest when they fail ! Lol gtfo here

Some are saying this is not our problem. \n\nUkraine, Palestine, afghanistan, syria, and middle east. Is that our problem? Free food, free housing, free education to all these so called refugees. At least these students are not asking anything for free. \n\nStrong action should be taken against these fly by night colleges and their agents. Also, students are at fault as well to enrol in these unrecognized institutions. So is govt who allowed them get here knowing these institutions are not recognized.

Look at the root cause of these problems. It is the colleges making money off these student immigrants, it is the corporate who do not want to pay decent living wages to Canadians so they are hiring these students at a minimum wages jobs. Let face it it this is capitalism at works where the corporate has to save as much money as possible for share holders. So yes immigration is a huge problems but immigrant alone are not at fault. Fault lies with the government (federal, provincial and municipal) and the corporate entities in Canada as well.

I blame it mainly on the international student boom in the past few years. These frauds join bogus courses in bogus colleges. The entitlement and bad behavior of a few makes everybody else look bad. They are also not vetting them properly. So we don't know how many criminals have slipped through as well. To add to this these students have become so entitled now that they choose to protest and demand permanent residency. I have never seen non-immigrants from any country protest to get permanent residency. The main blame for all this finally has to be on the liberal government. You messed up big time and are not doing enough to fix this.\n\nAlso, why are parents of immigrants who get sponsored and come here being given access to social benefits from day1? Look at the US, you can sponsor a parents green card but that parent does not get any social benefits at least for a few years after they land in the country.

1) Canadians lure Indian students for $$. It is a significant amount of $$ and boost Canadian economy 2) Indian students 50% wants to finish the course applied, a job after the course and PR and 50% work immediately and don't attend college, wants to go for PR 3) Indians take all the jobs in the supermarket, Mall jobs, fast food stores etc even if the wage is less than Canadian 4) Canadians cannot get any jobs either awaiting government help or going into doll. This same happens in the USA, Australia, UK and NZ

If Canada had not allowed international students during and after Covid times, scores of colleges might have been shut down. Also most of us are aware how is the government funding used by private colleges. Government made money off students to save themselves from Covid economy and now they have no way to track them

Went through the pathway of studies-work-residency-citizenship\n\nLet me simplify the story for all of you guys here that lacks immigration intel. \n\n1) The quality of migrants you see here is not what Canada needs long term. It’s not a matter of ethnicity, but Canada needs to import talented and educated folks in medicine, engineering, trades etc. None of these individuals are interested in studying and are either attending 3rd grade colleges/universities to get a work permit and hoped to stay on. \n\n2) Shoddy sales tactics include lying or ‘avoiding stating the obvious’ that could make you lose the deal. This is exactly what the Canadian government did with these people. The Canadian dream was sold somewhat properly before 2017/2018 I would say. Post Covid there was a MASSIVE need of manpower in minimum wage jobs. The government could not afford increasing minimum wage at the time and international students would do exactly those jobs and bring in millions of dollars in tuition fees. The government opened the gates for these strip-mall colleges to take unprecedented numbers of students with allowances to work. These students were sold the exact same dream that a top quality University/college student is sold about Canada. They needed to be used at the time. And if they would’ve been told that their quality of students are only needed temporarily, they wouldn’t have come. The labour shortage at the time wouldn’t have been solved. So a CATCH 22 of the highest order. \n\n3) Canada CANNOT give in to such protests as it will set the worst example of migrant pandering for future generations. The best talent will refrain from entering Canada and more and more of these types of immigrants who do not want to assimilate to the Canadian culture will want to keep on coming.

A lot of Canadian students cannot get into college because they are FULL of international students. Imagine if your local high school was unable to take your kids in for this fall term, and the reason they gave you was because they were 'FULL OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS' ?? You would flip out if that were to happen.

All the Universities, especially in Ontario Colleges official representatives came to my home town , and told me that if I spend this much amount of money to study this many years , I can apply for a PR. That is why I came here. I chose to study in Algonquin college, Ottawa.I spend 4 times more than a Canadian student which I don't complain.\nAt least authority should keep there word, or give back the money. \nThey should not invite those students.\nThose who telling us to go back , should go back first Europe and practice what they preach.\nStudents came here in a student Visa, which can legally apply PR. Why didn't the Universities and Colleges build housing for all these International students and charge them rent, additional income

My family came from Canada from India over 100 years ago we came over here legally we tried to assimilate I think what really bothers me now is that these new international students are giving all of us a bad name most of them cheat on their English exams back in India, and this is a known fact most of them can’t speak English and hence why they fail the colleges here expecting to be passed automatically. they work over 40 hours a week illegally and lie about it The government is subsidizing international students but they are taking jobs away from our students. We paid taxes my entire life and my son applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing because every single job is taken over by international students they are they are abrasive. They are entitled, they cannot seem to understand how assimilation works. They are so entitled and they feel they can protest out in the streets when they dont get PR. They came on a student visa and were expected to go home. They are now complaining and protesting at this point they all need to be sent home because this is ridiculous, PR should be handed out as needed not automatically and right now there are so many Canadians without jobs so we don’t need more workers. I also work in healthcare most of the students or their families come in don’t have appropriate healthcare and we end up paying millions of dollars in healthcare bills because of them, we have had families come visit their international students with no healthcare having strokes costing us healthcare workers and the government over $1 million. We don’t have the infrastructure for these students to stop. The government needs to stop subsidizing. The government needs to stop handing out PR like they’re handing out candyscamin India and here charged enough is enough. I will def be writing to my politician

When I was in college, Indian students were my nightmares for group work. Many of them kept silence until the previous day of deadline, and said they wanted to take part; some others would say at the beginning that they needed to work in the day so they had very limited time for the work and brazenly begged to slack off. Thanks to the assistance of AI, I was able to finish the whole project on my own and told them f**k off in the last minutes.

In the US, a college education (4year) starts at $150 thousand. Most US or foreign student graduate with a student loan over $250 (US) thousand. Every one is is the same predicament. And we all struggling to get an education and pay our way through life - YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL!! Follow the rules!!!

Many International students at colleges and universities weren't studying. They worked excessive hours and failed all their courses. Citizenship is a privilege, not a right

I worked in a college that admits international students. Many of them came here with fradulent documents and cannot speak English trying every possible way to cheat and exploit any system. I am an economic immigrant and I feel betrayed.
