Why is anyone surprised?

I'm really surprised how sharp this speech was, and dense, with no made up alternative facts mumble. I should listen to more Trudeau speeches and less Trump. The rational, fact-based argumentation is like recharging after so much trump nonsense

Why is anyone surprised. It was made clear during the campaigning this was what he would do and YOU the legacy press decided to either ignore or normalise his behaviour. So don’t be surprised or feign shock you in part have created this!

It is no surprised that the angry yam has done this. The ONLY reason that the angry yam is putting out these tariffs is to pay for the massive tax cuts that is being proposed in Congress. The consumers will pay for the border tax right out of their pockets on everything that they purchase as soon as the items ripple through to the store shelves.

Like I've said before or two other blogs, this man should not be up there addressing CNN or any other network or any population. Whether it be Canadian or American. He has no right to be there. Why are we blaming fentanyl on Canada and Mexico? Or even China or Colombia, or wherever the hell it's produced? What Trump seems to try to get at most is the unfair act of the USMCA. Most trades benefited Canada, while Canada refused to provide the same fair trades. Sometimes Trump does say things that may have gone off track like fentyl handling on Canada's end and border handling. It seems like our borders at the time were less strict on the American side versus the Canadian side of the border. Trump did state multiple times that most countries like Canada were unfair to USA. Even with the USMCA, America got screwed by Mexico as will. America has been there helping and supporting and submitting to every country. Yet failed to support our own people when we need it, especially to clear up our own debts. Sadly, America is falling behind due to poor handling of Government Democrat corruption. I am neutral as both parties don't always provide the best solution for everyone. You have to pick who can help the American people. Seeing how corrupt the Democrats has ran America and the defacto behind of all the wars and money laundering has surprised me, and I hope the change with Trump will help everyone realize how screwed we all are in correcting those corruption that isn't really needed.

Why should anyone be surprised, Trump stated that he would annex Canada by the means of an economic war. And if this fails who knows, maybe a “ Special Military Operation”.

It should be no surprise that our leadership chooses to blame all of our problems on someone else, because that's exactly what they do every day. We have a drug problem, it's because of Canada and Mexico. We have an immigration problem, likewise Mexico and Canada. We have a deficit problem, that's because of the EU and NATO. Our problem is our government, specifically Republicans who won't accept the simple truth: you want to solve problems you have be disciplined and smart. You have to spend money to fix your problems instead of blaming some else and trying to get them to pay for it. You pay to solve your problems instead of giving huge tax cuts to people who don't need them. You stop lying to your people. You want to change the trade imbalance? Build products that other countries want at a price that makes sense. The EU has no laws that prevent American car manufacturers from selling their cars in Europe. American car companies make shitty cars. They make cars that are too big, that don't make sense for European where streets can be very small and gas is very expensive. The US manufacturers don't make a single small car in thos country that can compete with European cars. US agricultural products are laced with poisonous chemicals that are outlawed in the EU because they kill people. Our governmeent doesn't give a shit about that because to grow healthy food means you have to cut profits, almighty dollars, instead of grow things that the rest of the world will accept. We have an idiot for president who thinks he knows more than anyone else and an idiot party that won't tell him the truth. This is going to cost us big time. We are going into recession, probably a long one because we don't have real leaders and the president on his best day is nothing more than a reality TV personality, and not a very entertaining one at that.
