If too many Mexicans come over construction will be done too fast and there will be more houses made and then house prices will drop and this can't happen because I'm rich and I benefit off of limited housing. If hard working people start making houses at near minum range I won't make enough money. It's sad how many scams there are. This is just another example. I hate to say it but the scam started with recruiting in India. Where most of the scams you hear about start. I hate to say it but it's true... I live in windsor ontario Canada, when we were kids it was like that, im in my 40s in the 80s and 90s we played outside whatever we wanted. it all started with internet becoming big with social media, and I'm guilty of the video games, them as well as soon as we got Nintendo as kids my parents would make us stop and go outside, but as we got older u started seeing it less and less until where it's at now no kids playing outside very rarely I do see it in the summer but it's very true it's very sad

I love Quebec also but like any province it has its flaws, we are governed by 2 gouvernements who hate each other so both fight about everything,we pay taxes to both these governments, the only way you can attend or send your children to English school is if you were born here(canada) and someone in your family went to english school, so if you are french or an immigrant you have no choice in the matter you are going to french school, we were voted the most corrupt province a few years back, you can do anything you want though….as long as you paid for your permit to do it, wanna ride the trails on your atv 300$, wanna ride a motorcycle anywhere between 600$(for a cruiser) to 1700$(sportbike), growing cannabis is illegal unless you buy a 600$ permit then its ok. But even with all its flaws its still an amazing place AND we have maple syrup ? oh but if you make some don’t forget permission from the Federation to sell it cause they can impose massive fines all the way up to seizing you farm. But really its not all that bad…. Crap gotta go it’s curfew time don’t wanna get a 1600$ fine for being out past 8. \n\np.s our Poutine isn’t the one starting a war

Many leave their own country, and come to Canada BECAUSE of their dislikes; extremism, culture, religion, laws, identity and in some cases backwards thinking; attempt to turn what we in society would consider as sexist, and discriminatory in some examples….\n\n…however when those same individuals finally achieve citizenship, or in some cases this starts (attempt to change Canadian law(s)) before obtaining citizenship, making moves to force the above, everything they despised, hated or disliked about their own country, into this new country ? Its like, the expectation is that we assimilate to them, not that they assimilate to their new chosen country??\n\nIt appears in some cases, going as far as attempting to rationalize why the the very thing they left their own country for, should now be a part of or have a place in Canadian society….where in any place in the World does this happen? Would it happen? Can you imagine, if I were a guest in someone else’s home, being invited over for dinner, but they had rules…like taking off your shoes when entering their home…or demanded they change their menu that they worked hard making for me to eat..or that I do not put my feet up in the coffee table or furniture…but I said, screw that, I don’t agree with their rules..I’m just going to do what I want! What would be the outcome do you think if I were to disrespect their rules?\n\nWhen Canadians have the audacity to say NO, we’re not interested in adopting …the rules/laws of the country they just abandoned…we’re now somehow insulted, or angered the guest? …the same Canada that has welcomed, provided safety, roof over their heads, food on the table, an education for their children, and provided access to our medical (albeit far from perfect) infrastructure.\n\nTo stomp their feet, bang their fist on the table when discovered that it’s expected to take four years of your life to become a doctor (which btw if you’re smart enough to become a doctor, you should be smart enough to of researched the expectations, PRIOR to coming to Canada) in the Country that YOU have chosen to spend the rest of their lives in, to have to work in a job to help support you and your families transitions,…imho, is NOT an unreasonable ask….that 4-5 years of their next 40-50+ ? Well, if that is considered a hardship, then maybe they need to rethink their intent. Maybe, the grass WAS greener in their former Country?!! \n\nI think to expect or demand to just step into or handed on a silver platter all the goodies without having to except to take the not so good…is imho ignorant, arrogant and selfish.\n\nEven with our flaws, Canada is one of the best places to live on the planet. The point is, I have been a minority here in india and the hate I receive for being a follower of a religion make them hate on me and my fellow people. I really wanna get out of this shithole. I'm also feeling very suicidal thinking about the situation I'm in. I have reached a point where I have started hating hindus(majority religion in india) and btw this Kumar belongs to the hindu group. Why is everyone surprised Canada has immigration laws??? We do not hate ppl who want a life in Canada but you need to inform yourself properly before actually showing up here.Canada’s immigration system is not unnecessarily strict like the us, but that doesn’t equate to anyone coming here. TRUE STORY : first time i went to Costco, i was ignored and rude to. Finally, i asked why am i being ignored? He apologized and offer to assist me. I told him I'm interested in on a membership and the city credit card. He bluntly told me, he doesn't think I'll get approve for the credit card. I asked why? He said because nobody ever does. I replied, i am not a NOBODY! He said please be quiet and complete my application profile. He did just so. He was genuinely shocked, when i got an instant $4k approval. He apologized again and asked politely what my credit score was. I told him 797 with an 7% debt to racial. Racism goes both ways I’ve been treated very bad because of my pale skin hair and eyes I’ve been called albino by people of colour and I’ve never and would never do that to them growing up in the uk in an area with a high Muslim community being beaten up at school ,there where places white girls just didn’t go I hated the way I looked I started to dye my hair black I wore baggy clothes and lots of layers but I couldn’t change my eyes I would alway walk with my head down so I know what it’s like to be treated differently because of colour

Many, many years ago my bf and I were in Shoppers Drug Mart. We are both black and was there to buy contraceptives. He was in one aisle and I was shopping in another. After we bought our items their security followed us down the mall, stopped us, grabbed his arm and started leading him back to the store. They brought us to the back. They accused him of stealing. Made him empty his pockets and bag. When she didnt find anything, she said sorry and let us go. We couldn't tell our parents because at the time they didnt know we were sexually active. The security officer's boss offered us a $25 gift certificate- we didnt take it. I still hate going into their store.
