Here's my life in canada. denied work. When government leaders focus on population and economic growth that's usually is a sign that they aren't balancing the budget correctly. They're trying to increase tax revenue without increasing taxes. I'd look closer at government corruption. Overpopulation destroys the environment. Canada is one of the few places on earth that still has an environment. Russia and Australia are the other ones. Russia's strategy is to look sort of like an ogre and it's too cold. Australia's strategy is to look like they harbor too many dangerous animals and the land is too arid. Canada's strategy is to keep higher taxes than the USA and it's too cold. People tend to gravitate toward lower tax and warmer places. Fewer people is better, it doesn't matter what their race is. I’m the son of Indian immigrants who came into Melbourne, Australia 34 years ago, my mom came with her family of 8 and my father came here by himself. The exact same thing is happening over here. We have suburbs in our eastern side which have turned into pockets of Punjab and Haryana. We have been in the restaurant industry for 30 years now, these students are taking our cash in what is a ‘cashless economy’. We’ve had one particular instance where a former employee faked her marriage certificates in order to get her permanent residency, now she’s in trouble with the authorities and may face some years in jail. The problem is they like taking ‘shortcuts’ and then they get stuck and expect us as employers to save them. The systems put into place have been exhausted to the point where is it useless.

I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

All the White Canadians blaming Indians for immigrating while their own Government is the one who put them in this mess. Not a single Indian would be in Canada if it wasn't for your own Government allowing them in. Videos like these would be nicer if you did research/fact-checked people's statements. I know the purpose is to get the POV of the general populace, but it sucks hearing at the end of the video "Well, idk why" when you could improve the quality of the video by supporting or rejecting claims people make. Also, asking more balanced questions instead of biased ones is another way you can improve. For example, no difficult questions or claims against the anti-immigration Canadians were given - they were basically just asked "why do you think this?" On the other hand, the pro-immigration migrants were given questions regarding claims made by the anti-immigrant Canadians - which again was never fact checked by your team. It's difficult and feels like a waste of time when we're just hearing testimony - as important as each individual's story is - but without any critical thinking or research applied.

That said, there have been far too many immigrants in the last decade, regardless of origin. I've lived in my small town in BC for 37 years and somehow I cannot get a family doctor (I visit all of the local clinics annually and am on the provincial waiting list) while a lot of newer residents seem to have a doctor within months of moving here. I am glad I bought my house when I did, I would not be able to afford one today. I am not against legal immigration, just slow it down so the infrastructure can support it and properly vet those who apply. The system for deportment currently employed in the US is far too hastened and imperfect for my liking but the lack-of-a-system (or heck, acknowledgement) that this is even an issue by the current and previous Canadian governments is equally as concerning (arguably more, other folks can debate the politics of it).

I'm an immigrant myself, and I brought conservative values to Canada. Why? Because I want to "Conserve" what Canada is, not change it into the third world country I'm from. As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I don’t really understand why these people are receiving hate if they seem like they help one another and others. Those food banks and kitchens that offer a free meal to anyone is a good thing. One option may be to remove DTAA & impose income tax on foreign gross income of Indian citizens, like the US (US citizens/GC holders are taxed on their worldwide income, regardless of where they reside), & build a world-class work environment in India with that tax amount, so that high-skilled Indian talents can return back to India to start start-up to develop app like WhatsApp/FB/Google/Amazon/MS/Meta (like China) or find suitable job/Business.

Do you think doing cash jobs will make you rich or something? These jobs are the jobs that no one in the right mind will do. The rates are pretty low and you will be treated like crap. People go to Brampton for cheaper rent. They start to make money usually they move out. We went to Scarborough for 3 months. Then moved to Mississauga and then to Toronto. Bought a house in Oakville and then sold that house and moved out West to Edmonton and then to Calgary. We now live in the States. So these things will happen to pretty much everyone. A few of them will stay in Brampton obviously.

See the issue with multi culturalism is that “like people” tend to stick with “like people”. It’s human nature… for instance, when I go to school or the break room- I sit with my friends. I interact with, socialize outside of the current setting - because that’s where we are comfortable. Everyone in life chooses to be comfortable, as it’s better. When we mass immigrate (especially from one country) we can’t be surprised that this happens. Of course Indian people do business, socialize, real estate, etc… with other Indian people. It’s what they are comfortable with. It saddens me for what this country has become. When I first came here, I saw the potential of what I could do in this country but that is not the case anymore. I, amongst many immigrants from India, try every bit possible to assimilate in the society and believe me we have, almost at par with Canadian values. However, post-covid, everyone seems to judge every east Indian on the same grounds as outlined by the speakers in this video. My opinion is, people who do not respect the laws and traditions of this country should go back to their countries (regardless of who they are) and do all your propaganda there especially all the international ones. Like I came here for a better future and I feel I am getting a worsened experience due to all this toxicity for colored people and their behaviour of course.

The problem is they refuse to assimilate and embrace western culture or the culture of the country they immigrated too. This is what infuriates the citizens of the host country. We do not care if they have their traditions, we care that they try to make our country just like the one they left.

I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such. There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths. Was it the Canadian govt fully at fault for the deaths? Not quite… these students are often met with predatory individuals who take advantage of their vulnerable situations: such as predatory landlords who have sometimes 15 or more students renting one house, or unjust working conditions because the employer knows that the immigrants citizenship hopes are tied to the job, etc etc. Ultimately, it’s the Canadian government turning a blind eye to these realities and trying to make the deaths appear due to things other than unalive attempts. This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way the Canadian government has been pushing dystopian legislation around their medically assisted dying program (MAiD). Canada’s medically assisted dying program has the least guardrails of any program of that type in other countries. Not just this, but the legislation for MAiD comes at a time when Canada’s healthcare and mental healthcare systems are collapsing. Trudeau said he would address this with one his re-election promises in 2021: he promised 5 billion for mental health programs. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis. Perhaps one day someone will be able to trace how the 5 Billion promised was send off in provincial transfers that did not benefit any programs and likely only helped pay for all the upper management, because Canada’s healthcare, education and mental health care systems are absurdly top-heavy. Canada becomes moral dystopian by the day, with regular folks (working class, blue collar, low-income) bearing the burden. Everyday more people join the rank of the oppressed regular people while a few who work in the government or favored industries are overpaid and the stats around all of this corruption are further obfuscated and buried. And as all this occurs, you see bureaucrats like the on in this video smug in their knowledge that most Canadians will never learn how dark the truth is.

Almost all students come to canada to stay here, mostly Indians. They are running away from their shit holes. Unfortunately they are making Canada a shit hole. High rents because of them as landlords giving one house to 10 students making small compartments making more money, thus high rents. No jobs for born Canadians because of them. Govt pays employer who hire students. Many came through fake marriages, fake documentation etc. Govt distributing PRs to them like hot cakes. Govt looking at short term money as investment but the outcome is catastrophic. Govt should look into the fake colleges that are registered in Canada which invites them.This is absolutely unjust to Canadians.

Well, I'm gonna give you Canada Immigration an advice on how to catch these people and all those in other countries who has the same situation. These people are doing jobs like delivery like Uber, Skip, Doordash, etc., BUT...they are not using their legal name to apply for that instead they are using another person's account to do that job, whose account is legal and had been in the job for so many years. The connection between those people is not relevant to any gang or organizations but they operate like one, the advantage is both parties earn money while in their eyes is "legal". This is normal settings in my country(3rd world country), you have several taxis and you need to hire drivers to operate, its up to you if you're gonna hire legit drivers or not, the only difference is that the undocumented driver is cheaper. And how do I know these things, I work in a fastfood chain in Waterloo, you need to identify which order the driver will pickup and the delivery driver need to verify the order by the order number through the app but sometimes you can see the Account's photo is different from the delivery driver, so yeah, that's the gist of it. I have no idea why modern countries like Canada and America are so "dumb" or lack of critical thinking when it comes to crimes like this, but I guess people and politicians are the same all over the world. And now, they are bringing more people without checking their background, if there's any criminal record or such, oh yeah, speaking of that, how do you verify those records from another country if those records can be produced with 3rd party company in which an employee from a government institution is behind it to make it more look like it is legit.
