As a Canadian I was kind of disappointed in this video. A lot of things weren’t explained very well or looked into depth. I just felt like some important aspects were glazed over

You know I’ve been killing myself working non stop for like a decade trying to hold it all together because of all the increased prices of everything. As a result I have not been paying attention. I know the tariff thing was happening, but didn’t know why this was a thing. \n\nShame on me for not being more up to date. \n\nI also know nothing about Trudeau or his political stance on literally anything aside from what he talked about in this video. \n\nI must say this was of speaking is EXACTLY what I expect from a world leader. THIS is the exact style of communication we need from world leaders. As someone living in Canada... I actually don't feel much of the things mentioned in the video. Sure, wages are not growing as fast as it can, but as someone who managed to purchase a home *before* the bubble started to expand, I'm living steady right now.\n\nWhat is REALLY causing a large part of the social and economic issues is actually the fact that provinces are NOT expanding new towns and cities in the millions of kilometers that needs to grow. Everyone is moving into cities, including refugees and new immigrants, which is driving up local prices and demand for everything. A few years ago, there were literally news of townships outside of the major cities offering houses and land for $50 per acre if people move to those towns and live there. \n\nCanada's biggest (heh) advantage is how much land it has. It's biggest weakness is how little comparative population it has. The worst problem is the concentration of population in like 6 keys cities throughout the entire country. If more people who complain about housing or social issues were willing to move outside of the major cities, they wouldn't have those problems.

I recently watched a You Tube video from a couple, who had never been in Canada, it was quite amazing, think it was called something Southern or so. one of the main things, the gentleman was looking for is they had travelled from the west trough Toronto to the East and threw their arms up, saying, where are all the police, they had only seen 1 cop car in the city on their visit. secondly, he was dissappointed he could see where the hoods were, he wanted to see the Crackheads. (we dont have hoods like they do in the US)., another thing was he was sad because he couldnt find any Moose while they were driving from Niagara Falls to Toronto. I work for that orange bike company that you see all in this video which is mainly a bike service for people that are unfortunate enough to get an American job with that being said a lot of my customers that ride my bikes are asylum seekers and most of them already have car permits and come from wealthy families with jobs in their own countries I'm going to just leave it like that.. don't listen to the hype that the media always pushes out

The vast majority of immigrants crossing the Canada-US border are crossing into Canada from the US. 200,000 in 2024 alone. Where are immigrants getting $35,000?
