Wow! As an independent black, female who voted Trump as POTUS I am unhappy a black woman is not a cabinet nominee! I think a black female SBA head would have been great - if married I want her to have a black male spouse - to exemplify black essence and love. I do care if picks reflect Caucasian, African and Asian Americans with a sprinkling of other cultures. The need for all racial groups to be represented and have unique economic and basic needs addressed by cabinet picks is fundamental to unify our country!

Honestly noone in their right mind would wanna stay in Canada...I use to think of Canada as a great beautiful country but then after visiting and seeing its a little India and that too very messy and unaffordable I realized mistake and came back..India is far more better than Canada cause whatver you make you can afrord a house or land and vacations too and all of that while living close to family \n\nOh also the healthcare is great in India cause in Canada you do pay high taxes for the so called FREE and still have no appointments for months so Canada is a bad place to live.

And this is what we call, a ladder puller. Now that she was able to become a citizen, rather than helping her family members to get their legal status, which can be difficult, tedious and very expensive, she could care less if the lives they have already spent decades on building here are completely destroyed. She seems to be fully aware that it can be a difficult process, and I personally have seen that it’s not exactly a fair one either. I have seen some people spend not only years waiting on a hearing or a determination, but spend thousands they scrape together on lawyers and obtaining records, while others submit minimal evidence and get a determination in weeks. Instead of admitting that there are problems with the system and vote for people who are actually trying to help, she wants the same system that made it a difficult process for her to stay the same for them. In fact she voted for someone who is going to make it harder if not impossible for them to come back the right way in the first place. Is she not thinking? If they get deported, that is going into immigration records and when that gets pulled up when they apply to come back it will likely cause any legally efforts to return to be rejected. And who knows how long that will stay in their system? Could be years, could be permanent. Biden’s idea to help those undocumented who are married to citizens to be able to apply and get a temporary visa to stay here while they wait so that families wouldn’t have to be broken up by having the applicant return to their country of origin. That was not just a great idea from a humanitarian point, but they could apply for a job that wasn’t going to take advantage of them by paying below minimum wage, with no rights if they are injured. That could help bring local wages up. They would start contributing back by paying their fair share of taxes, and do on. Republicans in red states stopped it though and are suing the Biden administration for trying to do what? Help people and fix some of the issues that our broken immigration system has caused? \nSorry lady, but you earned your family’s ire and whatever treatment you get from the administration you voted for.

Ohhh if it was her own child I’m sure she wouldn’t be saying that’s ok.., there are many like her out there. They get those papers and they think they work for the White House. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. Gangs started in the White House with their red and blues. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. They come to work not to freakin take your jobs… this country everyone is a damn immigrant this country was taken from the natives taken with violence by killing them , rapi!’ Them. Canada, you need to WAKE UP. Ive visited toronto and montreal for the nightlife scene and it was a blast before they started coming in mass. Cultural diversity is great but this is basically taking over a country without a single shot being fired. This silent invasion of mass indians needs to stop. Hi there, I just need anyone out there who has a job can help me out. You still had a great job that I love my whole life and it was all about doing working for the city with the garbage district garbage man for eight years and I’ve been not working for the past three years and those past three years I’ve been looking for jobs and, my place, my place pretty much everything for no reason. I don’t think I deserve this at all. Anyone can help me. I lost my family too. And I not with children it sad to get to this point ???

For licensed doctors I would think that the 4 years would be a snap if you already know the material but beside that , if they went back because they could work in their field in there home country then why did they come here in the first place. Obviously it wasn't violence or fear for their lives.\n If they come here and enjoy the first years but then the reality kicks in when the benefits stop that they may have to work for minimum wage and they now know that a person making minimum wage in Canada is makes you homeless, can't afford a car or the gas, insurance and can only buy food , that they realize that they were better off where they were. It;s time our government informed these people of the harsh reality of how our governments have allowed our once great country to become place where it;s citizens suffer under these financially inadequate conditions that are only made worse by immigration numbers that far exceed our ability to house them. Maybe have them try to support themselves on the income they would get here while they are still in their country, or if it made a condition that our government must prove that they can sustain themselves with minimum wage before they can immigrate then immigration would be denied because heaven help them if minimum wage isn't enough because welfare/odsp is like jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

My daughter is nearing the end of 2 great years in Canada on an IEC (backpacker) visa from Australia. She’s loved the people, the landscape (mostly lived in BC and Alberta) , and working there…. She picked up interesting jobs, worked very hard, just about made ends meet, has been great. \n\nShe was even offered a permanent job by a major Canadian co last year (she was working for them on a one year role at the time) that would’ve paved the way for her to apply for PR…but she turned it down without a second thought….. for all the reasons you would know about \n\n- Wages aren’t great (maybe 20% less than australia), \n\n- taxes are high (incl having to pay CPP…in australia the employer pays all pension contributions, on top of wages), \n\n- groceries prices out of kilter, \n\n- rents consume most of what’s left…. \n\n- AND, even if you could save a deposit for a house, or shoebox apartment….what’s the point, could never afford it. \n\nShe’s seen nearly all her Canadian friends resigned to their fate of being perennial renters, of being perpetually skint. It’s no life. I was born here 55 years ago, I am mixed race and have been asked if I was Indian. I think that my time growing up in Canada is that Indians have had the most racism towards them. However, There are too many coming here right now. 99% of the Indians I have met with are nice and great people. With that , the shear amount of Indians that are not desirable are here. Cannot drive, rude, no understanding of customer service and take over public spaces and are litter bugs. You guys have to help transition into the western american canadian tradition. I have seen influxes of other countries come over here in my 55 years but I have never seen one group come over with these huge numbers. It is a massive displacement

Sorry to hear you’re leaving Canada….I haven’t been watching your vids lately but will catch up. As someone born and raised in Toronto, I love being in Canada. I’m proud to be Canadian. Unfortunately, I am sad to say that we have been going so downhill ever since Trudeau and his gang of idiots came in AND the pandemic. It’s not really easy to maintain your finances here anymore, so many people are struggling in this country. You can’t really afford anything today, it’s so sad. I’m unhappy with what has been happening to our country and the state we’re in. As you said, problems have arisen and continue to plague this country, from crime, cost of living, homeless crisis and quality of life.\n\nIf other of my fellow Canadians are leaving this “great” country, that’s their choice. But I am staying here and going to deal with its problems. I love this country with all my heart, and I don’t think I would move anywhere to a different country. Yes anyone that moves out of here is your choice but….there’s no other great country in the world than here. I’m staying here and I think that’s a good thing. The Fifth Estate had a great piece on what is actually going on in India and how this people are being scammed. They think that they're talking to a recruiter for a college, when in reality, it's a travel agency. It's sick how Canadian colleges have exploited the weaknesses in the system, and the government has allowed this to happen for so long. And now, after 9 years of Trudeau, the Liberals and the NDPs are back peddling trying to repair the bridges that the helped build and break. They gave the impression that I or any other who had a concern with immigration might be possibly racist or xenophobic. Our government weaponized words to shut our voices down. Lots of interesting comments. What I think has happened is due to selfishness and greed over decades. Nobody here works to better their town, province, country. As a tourist to Canada I noticed a big culture clash. While Canadians over use the word “sorry,” Indians did not think twice about jumping ahead of a line and pushing people away to make space for their own family — even before that family arrives. I'm all for people from abroad, coming to our education system, because we have the one of best in the world, get an education, establish yourself here and you can make a great life out of it and you'd be accepted. When i was a kid Indians who ran the store down the street rented from us and us kids hung out also in elementary school one of my best friends was Indian, Indians fought with the allies in WW1 Now I work with some great Indian guys who always hold their own and don't slack off. Generalizing and racism is bad because it targets all as the problem. Canadian politicians have done bad policy and i think Indian politicians have done the same but again there are other factors in the wider world to blame not just those political groups.

Understand that Education system has become a business these days. Do you think that Indian students come to Canada by spending 10 times more for education, because they learn some great techniques or lessons? It is only with the hope that after the education they can get a high paying job in Canada. Indian education system is far better than Canada's. In fact Canadian universities badly need these students, else they may not be able to pay salaries to their professors or universities will shut down. So after these students came here by taking high loans, now you change the rule/law is giving hard time to these students. You guys attract these students by showing them hope. I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service!
