I think MOST of us do not want this either. Our government is a failure and we need to change it. We, the people. The REAL people. As a Brazilian, i don't know why Canadians are still trying tho deal with America. It's clearly not a democratic government. Brazil and Canada has dealt for so long, it's time to increase this. Apple, Taiwan, Japan, and honda already invested billions of dollars to America just to avoid tariffs. Like trump said, everything will be built in US soil, from steel, cars, technology chips, etc. In addition, America is the biggest consumer in commerce. These countries need the US dollar. It's either invested in America now and built your products in America or pay the tariffs. Your choice... oh, and for eggs, the US spends $110 million (2023) in eggs from China... Good time for the american farmer to thrive, don't you think?

I think one scenario we need to consider, is that trump is going to whine about no one wanting to do business with him as everyone will retaliate after tariffs (trade war indeed), and that he'll then turn to russia for trading. It sounds insane, but this is trump, making the insane possible.

Even with every ridiculous thing Trump has claimed or done and despite his love for Pukin and Russia, there are relatively 'normal' people in the u.s. who think he's sane and doing great, one reason I've heard being 'There's less Mexicans around'. I ask again, can anyone in the u.s. aim straight? If so, your failing country needs you.

As an American, I respect Canada as a friend and neighbor. I stand with Canada and not the crybaby in the white house. Trump and his administration needs to be removed from office immediately. Trump voters are about to be in the find out phase.... Do you think they will storm the White House again? Something has to change... How can no one stand up to Trump...
