There are enough Indians all over Europe, Americas and Australia. Many of them specially in the USA and Canada are illegal in high numbers. In Canada and USA, Indians have ruined their own reputation by getting involved into fraud activities, breaking laws of the host countries by bringing people from India and making them work illegally. So, naturally, the rejection rates are much higher for tourist visa and not for business visas as such. The solution is India should build infrastructure inside the country so that people don't need to rush abroad for a better life. Equality doesn't mean providing access to anyone who can potentially misuse the resource of a country.

Well said! I hope our Ministry of Foreign Affairs takes note. It's high time India earns global respect, particularly from the UK, USA and EU. Offering arrival visas to income tax filers could be a game-changer and a start to that direction and will motivating more people to file returns to get that pride status. Currently, only 3% of Indians file tax returns, whereas at least 10% should. This initiative would benefit India and provide developed countries with a better filtering process.

I think most western countries are fed up with indian scams and calll center scams. On a daily basis people get 3-10 calls from scam indian call centers. Usa lost over 10 billion dollars to indian scammers last year. Maybe shut down those scam centers and catch those criminals and maybe western countries will start allowing more indian visas.

Many people now days have a negative view of Indian immigrants. USA is flooded with Indian scammers. Many complain about behavioral issues. So, the reputation is not exactly great. I've seen more and more US and Canadians pushing back.

For the 50 lacs Indians who work in USA directly for American clients, it feels so great not to work in India and give commission to greedy capitalists like Narayana Murthy. Client dollars come directly to their pockets and with 1 dollar = 87 rupees they reach their retirement nest egg faster and achieve FIRE (financial independence retire early) in their 40s. And yes work for 40 hours and every extra hour is extra pay. No 70 hour work per week exploitation allowed in USA.

India is the 5th largest economy. Is that the reason why Indians any level should not be rejected visas. Well, out of all Indian revenue 90% wealth belong to only 10% population and rest of all Indians are living below poverty line. Usually those who can prove that they will return to India from countries like Australia, UK, New Zealand, EU, UAE and USA as you mentioned then they are given visas, otherwise no luck.

They are indians in usa, I don't understand why they needed visa if they are NRI they should have indian passport and if they have usa passport and have renounced indian citizenship, why did they not apply for OCI. i guess they never planned to come to india that often and this is just an one of affair so they didn't bother to get the OCI. Actually it is soo true. I have considered german for my education because it is less expensive than USA but I don’t see my full life in Germany because of language barriers and not promoting other nationals in higher positions. Go to USA you will find half of the top CEO or engineers Indians but come back to Germany and you won’t find many, this is because Germans don’t usually promote other nationals in managing positions higher than them. This is not welcoming so folks it is better if you come for your education, gain some work experience, explore europe as much as you can then move to USA and build your own home and raise kids, again push them to come to germany for free education of bachelors and masters ?

Half of the information is not true. I spent 12 years and Indians are good at customer service. Yes there are some who are not but many are good at it. I was in USA and many people dont greet and start scanning the products and that doesn't make them not being good at customers.
