Hate to say it, but bike guy is right. I work in a (genuinely) diverse area and African men are by far the worst customers. Incredibly condescending, interrupt me constantly, and if they have a wife/girlfriend with them, they're constantly berating her. I've found Indians are cheap but generally polite, the biggest problem is that there's just too damn many of them and they don't assimilate, so you become a stranger in your own hometown when they move in. I remember looking for a place to get takeout around my boyfriend's house and it was literally 90% Indian food, 10% pizza with butter chicken and tandoori toppings.

Exactly as an Indian I'd say these Indian excluding the southern and North Eastern part of the integral India, Pakistani and bangladeshi immigrants although not all but majority are littering abroad and have been truly bringing nothing but disgrace back home. So essentially 3 tiers of Indian come(Hamiltonian here who worked in the GTA for awhile) They got pumped in and don't like eachother and look down at the lower tiers ones. They won't even hire other Indians anymore since they have the options of only their type. They erased several industries at this point, most small business are forgien owned, Indian or middle eastern. They can't drive (just google India driving) theirs a couple feet of snow and they just floor it around sliding through intersections while playing candy crush or what ever Every business that is fast food place is almost exclusively Indian to the point the "white point game" isn't even playable. They buy up insane amounts of properties because they bring thier entire family on different visas and many just stay till they get deported as they bring that money home with them. Every student housing is filled with Indians, every one bedroom has 30 of them living in it. Most starter homes where cheap so they bought them to flip with thier combined money. Security sector is filled with them exclusively because it's the highest amount of money they can make here without any skills .(Most are 0 skilled). Schools all had to cut staff in half because when we cut funding and spots for people coming to our universitys they lost half thier income. Crime rate went way up. My city is really bad for human trafficking and aex trafficking. Many come to our city since it's far enough away to commit crimes. Many get 0 consequences because again.. Illegally overstaying a visa is deportation. Doug Ford literally gave everyone 200$ before an election...like how corrupt and garbage is this country. Now we have Indian only business that can't speak English, similar to the daycare issue. Job postings for specific races or language s only. Mind you everything just stated is also being done by the Arabs and Somalis and Nigerians. Many of these people coming here are "escaping dangerous situations" Wich means criminals who want to start again. Somehow these people with 0 resources have the money to buy million dollar properties 😂 Also don't forget, it's a hate crime to say or do many things about this and could land you in jail or worse. I went through a drive thru in Weyburn Saskatchewan and almost shit my pants when I seen (1) white guy working there, 99% Indian in the smack dab middle of the country, and it’s like this everywhere. Have heard half a dozen times from separate ppl that they were asked if they spoke Hindi or Punjabi to work at Tim Hortons because “all the staff spoke it” they take our jobs because they accept lower wages. I’m just fatigued, it just sucks because I know the vast majority of Indians before 2020 were actually nice and adaptable decently well. Now when you go out to eat or buy groceries you don’t even get a “have a nice day” which is a Canadian custom IMO. Most of the time besides the transaction details, they will not speak to you.

Break down from a Canadian who moved to the US. Basically, Indians moved to Brampton because it was a cheaper area, yet close enough to Toronto. Immigrants drove taxi or drove truck usually were paid in cash, leading to tax evaluation. So they were able to save more... They were able to buy a bigger house for cheaper basically. New immigrants move to Brampton probably cause it easier. They don't need to assimilate as much as they sued to. They can speak their own language, not have to learn another, etc. You can actually see certain immigrant groups take to certain cities for the reasons above. Vaughn is Italian, Etobicoke was multi cultural, now Somalian(last I visited), sauga is Arab, etc The universities are a big scam, and the govt is part of it. They don't care cause they get money.... People create these fake colleges and bring in students. Students have "online" classes and so they don't actually go in . In Canada ur allowed to work 20 hours as a student, but all work more under the table. And yes. As a Punjabi, there is too many Indians. It was too many when I left. Worse now.. don't even like visiting Canada anymore unless I go to Barrie or something.

As a Indian Sikh that was BORN in Australia with parents that have been in Australia for over 17 years, these new Indians coming here are the problem I’m not trying to be rude or racist but I’ve gone to India many times and there everyone is in Canada or something but when they get there they treat it like India, like if ur gonna go to a different country at least respect them . India is a beautiful country with good food it’s just that some (keyword some) people are disrespectful most Indians are like this because of stereotypes so they sometimes feel angry so then they try to get revenge. What troubled me most was how poverty and discrimination were replaced with racial generalizations, and how victim language was used to deflect responsibility, something that resembles DARVO. Given the same conditions, these problems could arise in any group, regardless of race.

As someone who's born and raised in Brampton I don't really see any issues when it comes to the large Indian demographic in the city. Majority of the people in this city are just middle class families trying to get by and provide their kids and families a bright future. Without the indian immigrants coming to this city what would it even be? You have families living in million dollar+ houses, working, owning business, giving good futures and opportunities for their children but y'all mad cause they are Indians who are doing this. If they were white people instead would be calling Brampton a success story then? If 75 percent of the population is south asian, OF COURSE you will see south asian workers, south asian restaurants, grocery stores (JUST LIKE ANY OTHER COMMUNITY). You only see this issue online because the people who actually live in these areas have absolutely no issue with the city. They're mad they can't progress in their own lives and use cities like Brampton as a scapegoat for their own problems. It just doesn't make sense to me how so many people have an issue with Brampton when they don't even know what it is like.

I know some folks, including my neighbour, who immigrated to Canada right after high School — they take services of immigration agents who have contacts with diploma mills there, get a student visa citing enrollment in a sham educational degree, join a minimum wage job and rig the whole process to attain PR & then citizenship — essentially giving low skilled, poorly assimilated labour the citizenship in Canada under guise of skilled or educated immigration. Even as an Indian, the whole situation is insane and astounding to say the least. Hindu Nationalism has spread its roots & conducts marches in Canada within the Indian Hindu areas like they do here in India and people have started performing river aartis as well (communal prayers to worship rivers) — all kinds of pernicious identitarianism is festering there. A ton of Indian immigrants now see Canada merely as a source to better life & resources, but relate to, & are patriotic towards India or assert their rawer religious Sikh or Hindu identity due to lack of any assimilatory pressure & absence of a well defined Canadian identity. Funniest part is Indians, esp Hindus, who vote for hindu nationalists ushering majoritarian policies in India, cheer for persecution of minorities and justify caste system, suddenly co-opt liberalism & decietfully use its talking points to defend their position as a minority in places they migrate to (they do not believe in so, and don't apply the same standards to themselves). First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. I've had both good and bad experiences with Indians, I worked with one guy at the local supermarket, he literally had the entire department hating on him, he was disrespectful, constantly tried to avoid doing his job, the rest of my department had to rally together to tell management to get rid of him, on the other hand, I've also worked with Indians that were the complete opposite, very respectful, kind and hard working. One guy lived in one city, went to school (College/University) in another and worked in my small city, it blew my mind at how busy his life was. They're not all bad but it does feel a little odd to see so many in BC

Not Canada per se, but baised on my coworkers even the Indians have Indian fatigue now. Especially with the older skilled Indians workers who have aasemulated into the country and came here the honest way. They're always complaining how it's now so easy to get into the country, with relaxed polices and poor vetting and how these newer influxes do not like to assemulate into their new country, and bring their bad practices over here. And annoyed why are importing non skilled workers when locals are struggling for jobs, describing why we do not need more Uber drivers and mc donalds workers. They're were telling me there's recently been a large influx buying their degrees for like $10k and getting here on skilled visas without thorough checks. because of relaxed policies as a result of our majority of young skilled citizens here leaving the country in record numbers since COVID.

As a First Nation member to treaty 7, it so bad on some reserves that East Indians are trespassing on the reservation and try to give anyone a ride/kidnapped to who knows where. They mainly target indigenous women and children. I know that a member from the community shot at one that was trespassing on reserve land we have weird Municipal laws so the guy who shot didn’t get charged

the biggest problem i have with india is their hiring practices. you can just tell whether a place has a indian manager. for example, my local subway has all indian people in their mid 20s-30s, except for one old white lady who has been working there since forever. The problem is they only hire indian people. And those indian people always get my order wrong one way or another.

They’re respectful, hard-working, have families, jobs, and contribute to society like anyone else. They don’t interfere with religion or ideology. Just tonight, during a snowstorm, an Indian neighbor came out of his home to help me clear snow off my car — purely out of kindness. That’s reality on the ground, and it deserves to be reported honestly.

Where I'm from, we have a decent size Indian population. But we get a lot of the tech guys or doctors and stuff. They're nice for the most part, but some act like they're better than everybody. I think it's possibly remnants of living with a caste system, even though it was supposedly banned I think it's still a big part of their culture.

Let me tell you this as a legal Indian immigrant that came here 13 years ago with my whole family. There was a balance of immigration coming in from every country which was amazing until they opened the gates to India like it’s another bus stop away from India. Since then there have been so many illiterate people that fraudulently came here and keep trying to make Canada like back home which needs to stop. The reputation of Indian people which used to be hard working and family people is getting ruined by people that come here to give back nothing to Canadian economy. People that used to come into Canada came in with a dream but now it feels like just visiting another Indian state especially Brampton……… hopefully this stops but with the monkeys that have currently taken over Canadian parliament i hardly see an end to this.
