FEEDBACK: I've operated various businesses in Canada and all I can say is, 'never again'. The BUREAUCRACY grows in strength every year, issuing more & more regulations, stifling everything. For every new rule a bureaucrat introduces, an old rule should be retired.\n\nHOUSING: It's the Liberal Government policy to pander to immigrant voters that has put us down the wrong path. I'm amazed that so few people in, say, Vancouver who complain about the astronomical cost of rent and mortgages realize that their problem is directly caused by our WEAK policy of permitting new immigrants to move to Vancouver & Toronto , instead of the 1,000 other towns where they're desperately needed. How stupid are we, to not even understand the policy issue? \n\nMeanwhile, I actually lost my apartment block in Winnipeg because the market value dropped below the mortgage balance and the bureaucracy was killing me with their conflicting rulings. So, why did my block drop in market value? Because people were leaving Winnipeg, and Manitoba. EVERYONE went to Vancouver or Toronto. Thanks for nothing, stupid politicians.. the opposition isn't doing their job when Canadians don't know anything about this.

Boomers in Canada are very nimby thus making housing so much harder to build, leading to younger generations emigrating to other countries like south of the border. Also eating up lands zoned to industrial, and thus making industrial rent more expensive to the remaining patches of land available on city outskirts. \n\nMaybe it’s time to review the policies overall. Canada has been treating its older generations like kings, with their large lawns and healthcare which they frequently use…while younger generations and immigrants work like a slave.

What do you mean by betrayal, you DESI? Indian students, if you don't like Canadian policies, please get out of ?. Immigration is a priviledge, not your birthright. Such tactics of getting immigration to Canada through back door and then slipping into USA has become very obvious, these days. S

Marc Miller is Trudeaus boyhood friend and mentor! Miller is the mastermind of the financial crisis, and mass immigration from India policy!

Without a mandate, without being duly elected the government is pushing a severe worlds highest immigration rate policy along with ethnic cleansing/bashing of anglos to create divisions and gain support for itself

Why spend all that tax money on northern boarder enforcement - how about Canada - reform your immigration policy and stop em at the airport. Cost a lot less to stop them at the airports if they don't have a good reason then tracking em down with Blackhawks and depleting our resources. Hope you get a better leader soon! Trudeau just talks out both sides of a#%, but unlike sleepy Joe, at least he can talk??

Saudi Arabia and the UAE have not officially taken in large numbers of Palestinian refugees for several reasons, rooted in historical, political, and strategic considerations:\n\n1. Political and Historical Context\n\t•\tArab League Policy (1950s-1960s): Many Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, follow a long-standing policy of not granting full citizenship to Palestinian refugees to preserve their right to return to their homeland. The idea is to prevent the permanent resettlement of Palestinians outside of Palestine, which could weaken their claim to the land.\n\t•\tPrevious Palestinian Expulsions: Gulf countries have had tense relations with Palestinian leadership in the past. For example, Kuwait expelled around 400,000 Palestinians after the 1991 Gulf War because the PLO supported Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait.\n\n2. Citizenship and Integration Policies\n\t•\tGulf states have strict immigration and citizenship policies, even for other Arabs. They generally do not grant permanent residency or citizenship to foreigners, including Palestinians.\n\t•\tEven Palestinians already living in the Gulf (many of whom work there) typically hold Jordanian, Lebanese, or Egyptian travel documents rather than Gulf passports.\n\n3. Demographic and Economic Considerations\n\t•\tThe UAE and Saudi Arabia have large populations of migrant workers, mostly from South Asia and other Arab countries. Bringing in large numbers of Palestinian refugees could create social, economic, and political challenges.\n\t•\tThe Gulf states prefer to offer financial aid rather than resettlement, as seen in their donations to the Palestinian Authority and humanitarian aid for Gaza.\n\n4. Changing Political Alignments\n\t•\tSaudi Arabia and the UAE have been shifting toward normalization with Israel as part of broader geopolitical and economic strategies. Taking in large numbers of Palestinian refugees could strain these developing ties.\n\t•\tThe UAE was the first Gulf country to sign the Abraham Accords with Israel in 2020, and Saudi Arabia has been engaging in quiet diplomacy with Israel.\n\n5. Security Concerns\n\t•\tGulf states are cautious about allowing politically active or militant groups into their borders. Given the history of Palestinian militant movements, there may be concerns about internal security and potential destabilization.\n\nWhat Do They Offer Instead?\n\t•\tGulf countries provide financial aid to Palestinian causes and UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency).\n\t•\tSaudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar have invested in reconstruction projects in Gaza and the West Bank.

Our weak foreign policy over the last ten years and the incompetence of the ministry of external affairs is amply exhibited.\n\nU S, now Canada , probably european countries and finally Australia might follow suit \nBack home in India the Modi government has completely ignored unemployment problems and is more busy tippling non BJP goverments and making the country a Hindu Rashtra . The question however remains what will the Hindus survive if there are no jobs , high inflation, poverty and now the influx of immigrants from abroad,, adding to all these.\nProbably that is why the BJP says हिन्दू खतरे में हैं।

Even heaven has a immigration policy. There is only one way (Jesus). To gain entry you must recognize you are a sinner, turn from your sin, believe that Jesus lived a perfect/sinless life, died on the cross and was raised from the dead (resurrection) . Jesus just wants a relationship with YOU!!!! If you don't follow the rules - no entry. God is Sovereign, He makes the rules. You may not understand because you are blinded from this TRUTH. Ask Jesus to show you and believe he is God in human form to show you how to live.

They have no respect for the U.S. they come in still flying their flag for a country they flee. They make no effort to learn the language of the country they invade. Yet they still expect to be accommodated. This is particularly ironic given how CNN opposed ICE and the deportation policies. Doing everything they could to make border patrol look like monsters. At this point we need to get our military involved and put a ban on all Mexican immigrants coming in to this country and send all the people who work for CNN and other news stations who opposed deportation with them back to Mexico

*The situation along the northern US-Canada border highlights the complexity of immigration policies, particularly with Trump’s crackdown. While some argue these efforts are necessary for safety, others view the sanctuary city approach as critical for protecting immigrants. What do you think about this ongoing debate between border security and sanctuary policies?*
|
| 2025-02-23 | 0 |
Many people who protest Fed Gov't policies regarding illegal immigrants live in protected enclaves, and they're unaffected by progressive policies.
|
| 2025-02-23 | 0 |
They need to let the people vote on Sanctuary city status. In New York and in Chicago where I am. Because it would probably lose. And that is why they are not letting us vote. And true about the mayor, he started speaking up against the Immigration policy a year ago, so they targeted him.
|
| 2025-02-23 | 0 |
You know. You really have to wonder just why they're so desperate to stop these anti-immigration policies. Kinda makes you wonder if there's some under the table deals going on.

ICE: With too much work to do: First: FOCUS ON NON-SANCTURARY CITIES/STATES and areas with compliant authorities; REWARD THEM for their help. This will PUSH illegal immigrants into Sanctuary areas e.g., New York and Chicago, overloading them with costs and challenges in education, healthcare, policing, accommodation, judiciary, and finances. Over time, these pressures will overwhelm the sanctuaries, prompting Voters there to Change Their Minds, Policies and, hopefully, their Politicians… Second: Keep the pressure up until the 'Mid-Terms'... THEN we'll know if VOTERS have Learned Their Lessons... if not... Third: THEN strategically reduce Federal funding to the sanctuaries that haven't Learned Their Lessons… This approach won’t unjustly or inordinately punish patriots.

As a Texan I came to have distain for the States of New York and California pushing policies and legislation that made no sense and even seemed anti-American. Texas has transformed in many ways for the negative due to the amount of illegal immigration that has taken place over the last 20 years.

Please don't lump the rest of the state in with those in NYC who keep voting for this insanity. The CITY voted for Cuomo and then Hochul, the rest of the state did not, but the rest of the state is so rural that the population of the city outvote the entirety of the rest of the state. That's why they pushed so hard for their sanctuary policies and providing IDs to illegal immigrants and allowing them to vote. This guarantees they keep getting reelected and increases over all state population which is used to determine how many congressional seats a state has and how many electoral votes, so more people would mean more political power.

India is the source of 200,000 to 750,000 illegals (many fly in as visitors or overstay student and work visas) - it would take tens of thousands of flights to send them back. \n\nVia GROK\nEstimates of the number of people from India living in the US illegally vary depending on the source and methodology. As of mid-2022, the Pew Research Center estimated there were about 725,000 undocumented Indian immigrants in the US, making them the third-largest group after those from Mexico and El Salvador. The Migration Policy Institute (MPI) provided a slightly higher estimate, suggesting around 11.3 million unauthorized immigrants total in the US as of mid-2022, with India being one of the top countries of origin, though exact numbers for Indians alone were not isolated in that figure. However, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported a lower number, estimating 220,000 unauthorized Indians in 2022, down from a peak of 560,000 in 2016.\n\nThese differences highlight the uncertainty in tracking this population, as methods rely on survey data, border encounter statistics, and assumptions about overstays versus illegal crossings. For context, US Customs and Border Protection recorded 90,415 encounters with Indian migrants at the borders in fiscal year 2024 (October 2023 to September 2024), indicating ongoing illegal entry attempts, though not all encounters reflect people who remain in the US.

As a Canadian I’m sorry you have to deal with our horrible immigration policies. It’s sad it took trump for our government to actually do something about it

There is NO DOUBT that Sanctuary policies is harming America! Also all blue state leaders should had made a proposition asking the state and city citizens if there are in favor of being a Sanctuary state or city, but that was NOT the case the citizens were forced to accept Sanctuary status in which it goes against Federal immigration laws that was passed by Congress!

Liberals Justin Trudeau named the worst prime minister in Canadian history, he ruined Canada s immigration and border through his mass immigration policies. for the last 9 years . Canada is a safe haven for extremist s and terrorist. Cause of Trump he now secure Canadian border. I hope conservative leader Pierre Poilieve will be the next Prime Minister of Canada and fix all this Justin created mess.

I used to watch you but now you just spread misinformation. It is amazing how quickly you pivoted your channel to a pro Trump narrative.\n\nThe deal for Canada to increase border security was made under Biden not Trump. Just like Trump to take credit for something he didn't do.\n\nUnder the new 2023 deal, the agreement was expanded to cover the entire U.S.-Canada border, allowing both countries to turn back asylum seekers who crossed illegally. Canada is fulfilling its commitment to the deal made with Biden not Trump.\n\nWhy was the deal made?\nCanada was experiencing a surge in asylum seekers, particularly at Roxham Road, where tens of thousands of migrants entered from the U.S. Many came from the U.S. after facing stricter immigration policies under Biden.\n\nCanada increased border enforcement to prevent irregular crossings.

We recently spoke with a client who moved from the U.S. to Poland with our help. He now has permanent residency and watches the immigration chaos in the U.S. from the outside. His takeaway? Poland’s approach to immigration is logical and structured—no sudden policy shifts, no confusing legal limbo, and an actual path to settlement. If more countries followed this model, people wouldn’t feel so uncertain about their futures.

It happens in all white western world civilizations. They don’t think they need to assimilate because of this idea of out lax immigration policy and taking in too many too fast. They find their little pocket of like ethnicities and stick with them. Look at the US. It’s time to put out foot down. It’s not racism, it’s assimilation which is a NORMAL essential process of migrating.

This is because the Canada Immigration Department has failed to identify those who are not eligible to stay and hold them accountable. This failure has strained public resources and services, leading to increased pressure on housing, healthcare, and social support systems. It has also caused tensions within communities, as the majority of people feel that the system is being exploited. Additionally, it undermines public confidence in the immigration process, making it more challenging to implement fair and effective policies.

Despite being the 5th largest economy, India still faces significant challenges in wealth distribution and visa compliance. While economic strength is a factor in visa approvals, it is not the only consideration. One major issue is visa misuse and overstaying. With a population of 1.4 billion, even if 10% were to overstay in foreign countries, that would be 140 million people—almost half the population of the United States. This creates serious concerns for immigration systems worldwide, leading to strict visa vetting processes for Indian applicants.\nFurthermore, while India’s economy is large, the majority of the wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few. A high GDP does not necessarily mean the average citizen enjoys financial security. Many people seek better opportunities abroad, sometimes through illegal means, which further justifies the need for stringent immigration policies.\nAnother issue that affects how Indians are perceived abroad is the behavior of some tourists. While not all are at fault, a growing number of incidents involving disrespectful behavior, disregard for local laws, and unruly conduct have led to Indian tourists gaining a negative reputation in some countries, including Nepal. This has made them among the least desired tourists in certain regions.\nUltimately, visas are not just about how much money a country has. Factors like overstays, illegal migration risks, and tourist behavior all play a role in shaping immigration policies. Respect and reputation are earned, not entitled. If you want to be welcomed and respected abroad, it’s essential to create a positive impression through responsible actions and cultural sensitivity.

What Mrs.Palki Sharma won't talk about is that there are mass number of Indians abroad who find it very difficult finding jobs & there is also a rise in the issues of civic sense amongst many Indians abroad. Just because we're the 5th largest economy doesn't mean we out right deserve visas. Even those countries cannot afford everyone. The immigration policies of Western nations have actually become quite a burden for them, there's nothing wrong with restrictions, they're not rejecting everyone.

The previous administration caused this crisis. These migrants got word the borders were open and have probably been traveling for months only to arrive and discover what they did. Now of course it breaks the heart of any compassionate person to see them standing there with their kids and elderly crying and begging to be let through. Because of that our immigration policies are made to appear deplorable and not humane. These were calculated decisions made previously to place us right where we are. But we have to stand strong and hold firm to our convictions. We don’t have the capacity to take care of the entire world and their people

I mean I understand…but all this is not immigrants fault..the government policies are just gimmicks change or promised based on vote bank after that they are not bothered about the impact of these policies…and billionaires…monopolies…they suppress services and take over their competitors and then lower education healthcare services increase costs of jobs and taxes and I mean that just means ppl keep on getting into debt and sick physically mentally

This is the reason why I love Trump's immigration policy.
|
| 2025-02-07 | 0 |
Our immigration policy is focused in four areas: first, strengthening border control; second, protecting American jobs by enforcing laws against illegal immigrants at the workplace; third, deporting criminal and deportable aliens; fourth, giving assistance to States who need it and denying illegal aliens benefits for public services or welfare.
|
| 2025-02-05 | 0 |
I suspect that china mastermind this mass entry of illegal immigrants rushing to the boarder. They know exactly that USA government won't harmed civilians and if by too much chaos some got hurt, it will be a tool to blame the new policy and thereby a chance to withdraw restrictions and thereby a certain fall of America in the hands of CCP.

I agree with Trump policy of deportation of illegal immigrants but don’t treated them like a hardcore criminals,

THIS is what needs to be broadcast though all MEDIA but of course they won't. Legal Mexican immigrants, and I know many, are in FAVOR of Trump deportation policy. When you are a immigrant and went through the legal process, like my family, you get extra angry at these criminals!

The U.S. drug and immigration problems are because of Canada and Mexico and have nothing to do with U.S. policy? Got it.
|
| 2025-02-02 | 0 |
A lot of us Americans remember learning about the tariff wars in history class that ended up in deciding fair trade was the better route. I fear we’re about to learn the same lesson again…\n\nAs far as the drug trade goes apparently the GOV doesn’t spend enough time on the internet because the cartels are no longer just in Mexico they’re in the USA and in Canada. They have learned the Canadian border is a lot easier to cross and they can get into BC pretty easily due to relaxed immigration policies In Canada.. they probably don’t actually know where the drugs are coming from or where they’re being manufactured entirely. The cartels are probably a step ahead of them at the moment. \n\nI can’t believe the auto industry lobbyists were not instructed to go full send on the detriment of the opposite position taken from the NAFTA. The only thing I can see is auto sales are slumping and maybe they can blame this on the tariff policy for massive restructuring. \n\nI kind of understand wanting to negotiate with Mexico because they probably buy less American goods than Americans buy Mexican goods (drugs excluding) but I’m guessing Canada is a better customer of American goods than Americans are of Canadian goods. Why would you want to upset a good partner, customer, and ally!? It’s Beyond my comprehension…. If Trump was really smart he’d convince some factories to actually invest in Mexico with cooperation from the Mexican government investing in efficient transportation from the manufacturing sectors to the American border and the coasts for distribution. This would likely really help their economy and change the whole dynamic of all the things Trump has issues with. Fix it at the source not try to treat the symptoms.

The trouble with political commentators is they try to think like a politician? Trump is not a politician! So think like a businessperson, its the deal and what is the best deal for the USA. At present he is the catalyst for many things and the most worried are the politicians and a lot of their lucrative deals they have made, in most cases not to the benefit of the country! In fact, it does America a favor, so if it becomes cheaper to make it at home, guess what? That's what they'll do, create investment, employment, greater wealth etc! And like most media outlets, they like to mix facts up, its not drugs from the north thats the problem. What Trump is implying is that Canada is aiding and abetting illegal immigration to another sovereign country via government policies! Plus the Trump administration is transporting illegals back to their country of origin rather than to the last country that harbored them! And the common theme is, the people suffer for what?

it's called Biden mass illegal border crossings deportation. the Biden administration is responsible for the mass deportation, the Biden-Harris administration's deliberate policy choices let to this crisis. these unlawful reckless Policies destroyed border security, encouraging millions of illegal aliens from all over the world to enter the country unlawfully, including terrorists and criminals, and deteriorated the legal immigration system. the most clueless incompetent irresponsible unqualified reckless administration I've ever seen unfit Biden and clueless Harris let us make sure this does not happen again.

More human pain, suffering, and deaths have occurred during the 4 years of BIDEN'S administration and with Democrat immigration policies. Turning a blind eye to obvious issues can be more destructive than actually BECOMING A RESPONSIBLE MATURE ADULT IN A CIVILIZED SOCIETY.
