another one. Incredible. Unbelievable failure. DEI policies.

I came to Germany from the UK in 1991, and was already fluent in German. In those days the Ausländerbehörde was incredibly unfriendly and demanding. They have got better over the years but there is definitely different treatment of UK citizens people from other countries. When I applied for citizenship before Brexit, it only took a few months. Now although it is supposed to be a faster process, it takes more than a year to even get an appointment, which is completely ridiculous. The reason is the lack of personnel. I accompany foreigners to the Ausländerbehörde and there is definitely different treatment of non-eu foreigners although it depends on the individual person in charge there. Even the period of residency given can vary between applicants by 1 to 5 years, depending on who they see or which Ausländerbehörde. This seems very strange and unfair considering that an annual fee for a residency permit is around 100 euros and involves 2 visits (the foreigner has to take at least a 1/2 day off to attend the appointment).

Indians don't realize that they're beibg taken advantage of. Theyre so incredibly stupid
2024-09-05 0
this is actually a really good summary of the situation. just like how India has their bad people who have caused problems we canadians also have similar people in who are just as troublesome if not worse such as the junkies on the streets who I see all the time here in Montreal and cause so much chaos. a big argument which I also feel like is that we should only allow the best of the best to immigrate to Canada. my mom was an immigrant and is an incredibly hard worker who is more than deserving of a Canadian citizenship and even my close friend who immigrated from India is just like that and is also 10x cleaner than anyone else I've ever lived with. the fact of the matter is that we need to bring back those high standards which we had in the past and crack down and send back those who abused the system and illegally entered the country. India is the largest population in the world, there are a lot of great people there that Canada would most definitely benefit from have but there are also a lot of crappy people as well, we just need to ensure that the ones who are coming here are of the latter and not the former

A&N....may be *Norway* will interest you. Relatively old culture (not as much as India Iraq Egypt Greece Rome Jerusalem etc but not land/society fashioned by immigrants like US Canada Australia NZ), very low population, incredible weather, very high income and living standards, and many more things which you guys may like to research and find out an then tell us. One thing I will tell you is that *their GINI is among the lowest globally*.
2024-09-04 0
Ofcourse no doubt in whose fault it is. The whole world knows it. If we boast that India is incredible and India is not for beginners then why the f*** people are not staying back their asses in India instead illegally ruining other countries ??

What I find incredible and unique. Is that I have seen at least 3 videos like yours. Where Indians attempts to analyze and ask questions on why this is happening. Many take accountability. \n\n\nSomething we Canadians rarely do ??????\n\n\nI’m giving you guys my support

Universities make several times more tuition from foreign students than from domestic students and I think they've gotten used to those revenues. But when local kids - even with incredibly high averages - can't get into their local universities, that's a problem.

I'd love to see a detailed video on Ireland's economic growth. Despite its small size, Ireland has achieved remarkable economic progress over the past few decades, transforming from a struggling economy to one of the fastest-growing in Europe. A deep dive into the factors driving this growth, such as its favorable tax policies, strong foreign direct investment, and the tech industry's influence, would be incredibly insightful. Plus, understanding how Ireland navigated the 2008 financial crisis and Brexit would be fascinating. Keep up the great work! \nIs Ireland's Economy a Scam?

Now Indian NRI are suffering at Canada because of Racism which is raising incredibly....people shouldn't forget this

Fascinating to hear that housing is expensive in Germany. Just 15 years ago it was so cheap!! Incredible what has happened with mass immigration. Poor Germans can’t even afford to buy a home and start a family in their own ancestral country!
2024-08-29 0
When poor people from shithole countries move to Canada, incredibly they instantly become housed, employed, and have perfect credit.\nMeanwhile, Canadians struggle and face consequence for voicing their displeasure.\n\nAint hard math at this point to know whats going on.

Unfortunately Germany is not a very attractive place for immigrants for the reasons the guy mentioned. The bureaucracy is incredibly frustrating and it's not only for immigrants. I got offered a job by a very well known multi international company here and they expected me to do the visa application by myself, because they haven't dealt with it before and evidently not enough information was readily available for them to take on the process. Those who are planning to come to Germany I would say spend a lot of time familiarizing yourself with how taxes will impact your salary. Insist on getting a dummy payslip with estimates of what your take home will be (because in Germany there are variables that could make an accurate estimate hard), research the average median expenses in the city or town you are moving to and be preperared to be the person who initiate contact with others. Learn the language which will make it easier to make friends (this will not happen over night as Germans by nature are not the warmest people), but in time yes. Find out whether your qualifications are comparable to those in Germany. You will be so surprise how many people don't do this check and waste their time doing courses that will not benefit them. I know it's incredibly hard to find out about this, like with everything else in this country, finding information on things isn't easy. You will need to speak to 4/5 different people, but it's worth it in the long run and saves you a lot of time.

I'm puzzled by the constant negativity and sense of entitlement I've encountered. As an immigrant from the EU, I've lived in Germany for six years and have only experienced racism once, at a club entrance. Ironically, I faced more racism in my own country during elementary school. In contrast, I've never encountered any discrimination in my job, studies, or social interactions here. Germans from various backgrounds, including dorms, sports teams, and university, have welcomed me to their gatherings. I'm a person of color and speak imperfect German, yet I've been treated with kindness and respect.\n\nGermany has offered me free education and incredible opportunities in industry and research. While I'm not wealthy, my quality of life is significantly better than it was in my home country, with plenty of room for improvement. I'm grateful for these opportunities and willing to contribute to the community. My advice is simple: be thankful for what you have, try your best, and if you're not a good fit, consider moving elsewhere and express your gratitude. It's that straightforward.

The Indian community in UAE are smart, well respected and highly professional in dealings with other expats and host country, they are the best representation of incredible India! This totally the opposite from Indians in Brampton specially those international students.

WOW..Vassy, you are an incredible journalist !

I have read most of the posts, and as a 78 year old female senior, who was accepted with my mother and father, as refugees 68 years ago into Canada, I can't believe the garbage reasons why these people are unhappy here.\nI am also a well travelled person, 36 countries on 5 continents. Saw incredible sights, YET, whenever, I arrived in Canada either in Vancouver or Toronto, I was always grateful that\n I LIVE IN CANADA.

Wow so this guy just completely games the system and youre alm too dumb to realize it, Canadas such a joke its incredible

Is incredible, they’re like beasts.

That man is incredibly ignorant. It’s the other way around buddy.

I'm in a similar situation. As a Canadian citizen who recently lost my job, I'm unable to apply for EI, and my only option seems to be leaving the country. It's incredibly challenging to find a job and make a living in Toronto or in Canada in general right now.

Sorry to dissapoint those looking fo greener pastures but our world is in an incredibly difficult situation, not just Canada. Earth cannot support eight billion people for an extended period of time and it is soon to be nine billion. Many have seen this coming for decades. An economy built on growth and waste on a planet with finite resources is problematic

Not incredible anymore.maybe you moving to Russia? you know the language. China?
2024-08-17 0
Landlord issue is far more than what is spoken.... they increase rent every year to incredible level.... the government speaks of affordable housing all the time, but nothing has been done so far.... the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. Need to fix the system where everyone would live fairly.... ?

Excessive taxation is actually a tool the elite use to remove the middle class and weaken a country before going communist. Lenin said the goal of socialism is communism. The reason the country is lax on crime is because the leaders are puppets used by the elite who have an agenda tocweaken western countries incorder to control them and enslave you. Its always amazing to me how people cant believe that there really are incredibly rich people who actually do conspire to increase their money and power and control over the people and world. There is a point where power is like money but power unused has no value so the elite have to use their power to socially engineer YOU.

Canada is NOT incredible anymore and is a shadow of it's former self.

Pankaj exemplifies the perfect integration into society! His positive attitude towards cultural shifts is truly inspiring and a key to success in any community. Indians, with their cultural ethics and respectful demeanor, are incredibly adaptive and perseverant. It’s no surprise that Indians excel globally, including in Germany, where they are among the highest earners amongst the skilled immigrants and hold the most Blue Cards. Kudos to Indians for their remarkable achievements! ??”

Incredible country... where housing is unaffordable.... a nice apartment now require multiple incomes for most people.... hospitals emergency services have 13 hour wait times... medical test require 12 month waits.... taxes are near the highest for a 1st world country...

Born and raised in New Brunswick. This makes me incredibly sad. I can't recognize my own country.

Priviet Alina - you are spiritual, smart, fun and incredibly beautiful. I am also not happy to see what Canada has become, more than economically our society is divided on so many levels. Spacibah for all that you have done for us, quite an inspiration.

If Trudeau wins again in 2025 I will uproot my entire family and leave. The country is spiralling out of control. Unfettered mass immigration is killing the culture, crime is rampant, we are taxed to death, our currency and purchasing power has been debased due to reckless fiscal policy by the Feds, our justice system is lacking in….justice, censorship, wokeism etc etc. \nIt makes me incredibly sad…\nI hope central Canada wakes up and stops voting for this incompetent and reckless government..

I'm an EU citizen (based outside) and I'd love to move to Germany, but the state of the job market means I can't get a job because everyone expects unicorns.\nI'm also afraid I won't be able to find an apartment there because I don't speak German and I've got to be incredibly lucky even if I do.
2024-08-14 0
My heart is heavy when i realize how much Canada has declined in all areas of life. The biggest cause has been the mismanagement of this incredible country by the Federal Government. The lessons we have learned since Trudeau has been at the helm is that a country does not operate on auto pilot. Canada has been systematically destroyed by hurtful policy changes and taxation.
2024-08-14 0
We moved to Canada from the UK 20 years ago because we saw what was coming. Unfortunately the situation in The UK is coming to Canada too. We too may have to consider moving again especially if Trudeau gets back in. That will be the deciding factor. Yes Canada is an incredible place to live but it’s rapidly changing and not for the better. It’s not the Country we moved to 20 years ago.
2024-08-14 0
Good for you Alina, very good decision. Canada is finished. It's also become an incredibly Dangerous country.\nIt will be generations before the culture reverts back to a realistic one.\nEnjoy your new life!
2024-08-14 0
Wherever you go, I hope you can find the home you crave. I cannot believe the state that Canada is in, I always enjoyed the closest city to me (Lethbridge) and now it's starting to feel incredibly unsafe to even walk around in Downtown.

It's incredible how people around the world, seem to forget that most countries had shut down for two years during the pandemic, costing countries billions, the issue is the grocery chains, the ongoing confict with Ukraine and Russia, among other countries, crime has spiked, I put part of the blame on the legal system, I do hope you will stay in Canada, beats the USA, which is headed into unknown direction, Canada has very little earthquakes, volcano eruptions, typhoon, hurricanes, although Canada has had the coldest winter on the planet, we as Canadians are in most part caring countries, I also put the blame on the premiers taking money from the federal government and investing in cons, our prime minister has faults, he takes the blame for most issues in Canada, but, he better than the alternative, not sure which country you are thinking about moving to, but take in consideration of the pros and cons of your potential move, the cost of living, health care, job, vehicles, rent, wage, best of luck in your future endeavours

The job market in Germany is incredibly challenging. Despite what people often say online, there simply aren't enough job opportunities available. Even when openings exist, most companies require a B2 or C1 level of German proficiency. Achieving this level of fluency within 2-3 years, while also balancing the demands of studying and completing a degree, is an unrealistic expectation for most students. Note, It's no joke to pursue a degree in Germany. It's a significant challenge on its own.

Leaving Germany soon. Finding accommodation is incredibly hard, even harder than getting a job ?
2024-08-13 0
Crazy employment laws, incredible regulations and high taxes, what could go wrong?
2024-08-13 0
It is simple ... Taxes are incredibly high, and wages are not so high. Skilled people usually have several options in other countries.
2024-08-11 0
Pathetic, really. Decades of arrogance and mockery of the US. And now look at yourselves. Incredible. How naive you have been.

Good video, but you're grossly misinformed about firearms ownership. You can own semi-auto rifles and shotguns with a non-restricted. Handguns were banned by the trudeau liberal government and crime in major cities have sky rocketed. I personally have witnesses shootings.\nNever before was there such violent crime as of 2015 because of justin trudeaus open immigration policy. Drive by shootings, extortion of businesses, robbery and home invasions was unheard of 20+ years ago and now its on the news daily. \nCell phone retail stores lock their doors and have to buzz you in because crime is so rampant and self-defence rights are not recognized. You have a nation of victims courtesy of this delusional, inept government. Another issue is incredibly high taxes, rent, inflation and safe injection sites that attract drug dealers, gangs and have drug addicts on the street. Housing is so inflated by foreign buyers that the average Canadian will NEVER be a home owner. Healthcare is getting worse, the majority of Canadians don't have a family doctor and wait times to see a specialist can be up to 8+ months.\nThe trudeau's, both father and son have ruined this great nation.

I used to date a girl who was an immigrant in Canada and it was incredible when I visited her the conditions immigrants (other than the wealthy ones) lived in. She lived in a converted basement and most immigrants lived in shared housing. There were homeless people everywhere and it was appalling. \n\n(Btw, one thing they forgot to mention was housing supplies being bought up by wealthy investors.)
2024-08-06 0
No standards in terms of who we bring into the country, it's mostly people who are here to exploit the system or don't contribute in any way. It's just the government doing this unchecked and banks and others lobbying for it because it's just untapped source of victims they can exploit as well. Then there just isn't enough housing available, that's no secret. So for people like this Daniel Bernhard guy to say it isn't the massive influx of people causing any issues is incredibly disingenuous. \nIf you increase immigration, be more selective and not all from the same country. There needs to be more control over the entire immigration system so it doesn't spiral out of control and now everyone is suffering, not just those coming to this country.

Democrats are turning the western world into the 3rd world at a rapid pace! It’s incredibly depressing ?

Believe it or not the northern border is actually quite secure. The US flies blackhawk helicopters they patrol 100 miles both sides of the border. also, there is no shortage of cameras my point being is \nthey’re watching the people as they know cross.\n\nThe cabs and buses that are meeting. These migrants could also be buses of the US military. \nThey’re being let come into your country deliberately. The migrants might think they’re sneaking into your country, but they’re not sneaking in homeland security the NSA They’re being watched as they come in.\nit also wouldn’t surprise me to see these migrants are getting help from either or both of the RCMP and CICIS last and this is where I’m sure a lot of people are coming through there is at least two incredibly big reserves that straddle the border. They’re in both our countries were the majority of all the illegal cigarettes come in Canada comes through along with blah blah, blah, blah blah blah ..

immigrants came to Canada and ruined our economy, now its incredibly expensive to live here, therefore they have to move because they cant afford it anymore. Good luck to you americans

Had Canadian friends (couple) who lived in Long Beach and he worked in Torrence as an engineer. They took me on drives around LA and the county here and there before they had kids and yeah, the freeways were pretty incredible. It was like going to another time zone to visit LACMA lol. But I really loved those drives and we went along Mulholland! And also to the Getty! Venice Beach long before the tents and I loved it! My Canadian friend learned to drive in Long Beach at a driving school so she could attend college in Pasadena and she's now one of the best drivers I've ever been with because she learned in the LA area. Most Canadian drivers are pretty bad lol (eg here = Alberta). I also liked LB at the time, they lived close to the downtown and LB was not the glitzy BS of LA just regular people. Also: TACO TRUCKS oh yeah *drool*

P.S. The friendship thing is true about Canada in general. Canadians like to show good face and they're super friendly on the streets. But. When you actually try to get close to people, you quickly realize they're incredibly selfish and all about themselves. I've lost all my friendships recently (my choice), because I saw how toxic they were all becoming, and I've found trying to make new friends that they're just plastic copies of the old friends I had to get rid of. - From someone who was born and has lived in Canada for 36 years.
