Trump genuinely such a crappy leader than other leaders with approval ratings in the dirt are gaining support for going against him. As an American, it’s damn amazing. I hope the next PM of Canada keeps up the same energy and doesn’t concede to the US. Things won’t get better until the world sticks it to us, because the world turning their backs on us is the only thing that’ll get through the thick skulls of anyone who still supports Trump.

Picking a trade war with Canada, Mexico, China and major economics is a very bad idea. It will not bring anybody to the negotiation table to get a better deal. It will drive them away from US partnership and they form alliances, new trade routes and partnerships, de-dollarization, etc. Just think why does a country needs USD when they cannot trade with US. BRICS have overtaken G7 in the overall GDP. So, In the end, US will be left alone with limited trading partners. US people will need to pay for tax + tariffs which will put them in a downward spiral.

(Do Americans want to pay 200 dollars for a shirt, made in America, or do they want to pay 40 dollars for the same shirt made overseas.
