I've been here from August 26th. I live in Saskatoon. Found a job in 8 days, I didn't have a career back home, except for being a mechanic, saftey guy and 2 more diplomas. I started from ground up working at grocery shop, paid the bills, smoked that good weed, can video call my family everyday, hanging out with the boys and chilling. \n\nBut I understand how most people who had a career back in their home is having trouble getting the exact one here. My roommate did software engineering stuff back home and he works with me. \n\nAlso Canadians have been really great with me. I had made some friends.\nAlso I'm 27, so I have time and I understand where he's coming from

Obviously if he has a personal driver in Nigeria, then he is part of a very wealthy minority back home, thus his experience and life is much better back home. Canada has better equality in every way than Nigeria & in my own home country as well, if you want to be in a country that tries to give a decent quality of life for everyone equally and not just a high quality of life for a small minority, then he's right, stay in Nigeria. Canada will humble you if you don't have the competitiveness to earn a good life, it's a country designed to serve the masses, not just you personally. The doctor has many other patients to see, they don't have time to hang out with you buddy.

I live in Canada and the truth is ,working minimum wage jobs won’t make you rich unless you work 2 or 3 full time minimum wage jobs. Without the necessary skills and education you will struggle to get professional jobs that pay better. Canadian employers value Canadian education and Canadian work experience. It’s hard to get professional jobs . without that. A visitor visa does not allow you to work in Canada. Agents will give you visitors visa and leave you to hang dry without work permit.

I saw your video and remembered when I came to the USA as a refugee in 2003. It was a tough ride. I had to take three buses to go to work. I also shared an apartment with a young girl from Kenya. I am now in school for my Masters in Nursing while establishing my own business. I own my home and no longer have to take the bus- I own two cars. I lived in TO and loved the multiculturalism, but the rate of demographic change needs to be managed and new immigrants properly supported and integrated. With the mass immigration of the past 2 decades, with a great share of the immigrants moving to TO and the GTA, what made TO great has been destroyed. Especially with the pressure on rents and house prices as the population sky rocketed. In the early 1990s TO was a great middle class city, now its just like other cities with the rich doing well and the rest struggling to hang on. Left in 2017 and will not be going back.

I totally agree with your opinion on all points! One supplement - all of Western and not only Western Canada - is isolated. The big cities - Vancouver, Calgary.... not to mention provinces like Manitoba or Saskechuan are just forgotten by God. Cities in nowhere! Nothing around big cities and complete isolation!
