This is bullshit, it's not that bad, all the immigrants I know love it here, taxes are better in other provinces and pay is better in the higher tax provinces. It's the same stuff in the US. Like British Columbia has a tax of 15% but better pay, Saskatchewan has a provincial tax of 11% but lower pay and it works like that, we let people keep their country and culture here and alot of this is more untrue than true. Its better than a lot of places, but the average canadian is getting poorer and poorer and the ceiling of success is very low too.

He should break up the hourly wage and how much we pay taxes in canada and what's the take home. And whats the monthly bill apartment bill, grocery, cell phone, internet, car insurance and whats left behind.. living in good neighborhood means higher apartment monthly rents ... u wud have no option but to send ur wife to work. Which wid make other things complicated. Both of them come home tired and upset and life is too fast to just survive. Having the house in Toronto and neighborhood is soo exoensive and u have to keep paying till u die. \nOfcourse ppl work themselves because it's too expensive they can't afford to pay for repair. Taxes remind me a thing: a couple of years ago when I was excesively paying taxes, I requested admin staff to please help me so that I pay what I must pay. They didn't help me. I went to my (above 80!!!) G.D. and asked him to sort it out please. He said, you are earning handsome amount, so you should keep paying this amount of taxes. :D :D Not to mention, he was a retired guy earning still about 4 times more than me and his family is settled in Canada too. :) God bless everyone!

I am an immigrant in Canada ,I came years ago, I entered legally and I keep paying my taxes since the first day I am in Canada, feel so good doing the right thing .

Who keeps perpetuating this myth about 60% tax in Sweden? I live in Sweden and don´t pay anything close to that.

What the people dont realize is that CANADA is a very expensive place to live, they think they can come here and live on couple of bucks. Canada is not the States. We pay the highest taxes, highest alcohol price, housing market is just ridiculous, Hydro most by any country, ...oh man I could keep on going. oh yeah...and dont forget that beautiful cold snow and the shovelling u have to do in -30 degree weather.

It is so funny, I was working in Canada, BC for 3 years as highly paid employee, paying taxes > 200k/year and after I decided to apply to PR it took me more than a year to get PR and plenty of strange documents were requested to be provided until I hired immigration lawyer who drafted rather tough and harsh mail to IRCC on my behalf that they are violating my immigration law. Guess what? PR was approved in 2 days. On the flip side I know plenty of immigrants from Eastern Europe, China who are bringing their families with fake documents and receiving PR super easy, once settled they get income outside Canada in their country of origin (leasing an apartment for example) and of course not declaring it here, they specifically keep income at the level so they can get welfare/various reliefs from Canada and they bragging out loud how smart they are taking advantage of the system. That's not fair - there are a lot of skilled people around the world who can bring real value to Canada and behave in a good faith. If you go to Richmond, no one can speak English there, what kind of cultural integration is it? Lefts really like these guys, easy votes, eh?

Mississauga is now Muslimssauga, refugees and asylum seekers cheats Canada and once they get Canadian passport they go back to Syria or Iraq for holidays then they don't face precautions or life threats. Or they will keep there family with 4 or 5 kids on welfare and husband goes to middle East to get high paid salary as they have Canadian passport. We pay hard earned money as tax and these people enjoy shisha at square one. Don't know when the Canadian law makers will understand the loopholes in Canadian refugee and asylum policy. Once they increase in population they will demand for Sharia law which is in their blood.

you need a certain amount of money to live on for 2 years plus job prospect plus no criminal record a good edjucation to come here legally so Canadians that pay super high taxes do not need to worry about taking care of people that think they can just come here and exspect its people.to support them and there families .You cant get welfare for 2 years either.We need to keep Canada a.smart and wealthy country .Yes we can help some in very bad situations but we are.only as strong as our weakest people . I feel bad for his innocent children to have to go through this. You want to live in another country, you need to follow the law like every else. You learn the language, get the same I.D. We all have to have , and be treated the same as if any American were to illegally cross boarders! What we have to go through just to have identification here should be no different for anyone else! I love this video? Thank you! I am American and I kinda getting tired of people demonizing my country. You debunked a lot of things (except the healthcare, which is accurate ?, and a lot of people here have it, 90%) and you CAN get Medicare and other government help. But the Conservative party here hates that. As a liberal, I'm fine paying taxes for a lot of things to help others and support keeping our businesses, roads, and schools safe. Oh and liberals are currently working to have stricter gun laws. America isn't perfect but then what country is?
