canada is turning into little india!! if i wanted to live in India... i would move there. Let's help our own first! we can't house or feed our own!! yet the immigrants and students get all the benefits!!

first i am an immigrant for 20 years. i see the problem has been rising. \nthe problem is not just immigrant, its the overseas students also. Gov try to solve the issue but they are doing it blindly. the problem are those small schools that focus on making school as a business and let people get working visa. \nwe need doctors and nurses so badly. why cant we take more doctors and nursing, have universities specifically train then. we can also have golden visa and wealthy immigrants to come in . we dont just need cheap labour, we also need money. \n\ni cant wait for next election to vote this gov out!

This isn’t totally accurate, and comparing Canada to the US is like comparing apples to oranges, a more apt comparison would be Canada and Australia (similar government structure, similar population, similar economy) unlike the us that has 8x our population and is the richest country in the world lol. \n\nThat being said the problems with the Canadian economy are pretty straightforward imo, for housing it’s simple, the Canadian government has invested heavily into the real estate market with things like the Canada pension plan being largely invested into the CPP. There is also a huge amount of people who have banked their retirement on the value of their home, for the most part these are blue collar workers. These two things combined have created a huge problem for the government, it basically has to choose between fixing the worsening housing crisis and in the process wipe out the savings and retirement accounts of millions of Canadians or let the problem get worse and worse until something boils over. This problem is also being compounded by the increasing number of international students being misled into coming here, they are being promised world class education but are receiving bogus diplomas from what are essentially sham colleges (thanks Ford). \n\nWhen looking at the competition in the country it’s a more complicated problem than people like to admit, in order to not become a client state of the US we have to place stronger protections on our industries and media, this insures that Canadian money stays within the Canadian market but has the drawback of discouraging competition. Now if you ask me the solution to this is to nationalize large industries that are being controlled by large oligopolies who unnecessarily manipulate the price of goods like Bell, Rogers, Loblaws, air Canada, petrol Canada, etc. By taking control of these industries the government could have better control of the price of goods and should result in better prices for consumers in turn we’re leaving some of the pressure placed on us by the cost of living crisis. This worked wonders for alcohol which in Ontario brings in 1.5 billion in revenue for the government each year, imagine how much internet, electricity, phone service and produce could bring in.

They let us in the country promising some things \nAnd now that they are here, people don't like it. \n\nLet's talk about middle Eastern & North African immigrants and refugees as that is a notable reason also\nThese people don't pay taxes, don't work as much and are a burden overall, but the problem is Indian students that work their asses off and have paid huge amounts of fees to colleges, almost twice as much as students other countries, needing to show 20,000$ in a blocked account. \n\nAll in all, it's a country on earth that provided legal entry to people just to fuel their dying economy while Canadians are off living the life and enjoying vacations. \n\nIf you want to pass your conclusion a d views, let's talk about the whole story

No work permit and no more students to PR path. Let these Indian students complete your studies and straightaway go back and serve your countries.Its tax payers suffering.

i can go on and on abt this problem i was born and raised in canada i happen to be brown but i aint an indi at all JT truly fcked our country up im in the GTA everywhere you turn youll see indi students walking around theyve already taken over and i dont think theyre going anywhere theyre just gonna bring their families some pretend to be students just for entry in theyre moving into my old family friends houses and turning it into immigration consultations 8 of them living in a 3 bedroom house 6 cars parked outside usually civics, corollas, mustangs, jeeps, and jettas... sometimes itd be the more expensive jeeps, mustangs, cameros, but only if their mom has 50 cows which she uses to sell milk and yogurt with, with a CV CX CY CW CZ DA DB DC DD license plate (aka newly registered which is 99.9% an indi student) thats how you know its them and to stay away from them on the road they dont know how to drive AT ALL cause they drive like how they would overseas and some of them get their license under the table now my dads paying 431 dollars for car insurance every month because of them he never got into an accident hes 47-54 years old he isnt a 16 year old with a new hellcat im 17 years old i cant even get a job because of them theyre stealing our jobs your kids will never be able to get a job ive been looking for one for 5 years every month n i bet ya theyre not hiring me cause i dont speak hindi and im not indi just today i was standing in line at a timmies and this indi student stood behind me so closely i looked behind my shoulder glancing at her hoping shed take a hint but no i move up she moved up even closer i look behind my shoulder 1 more time nothing nada her hand hit my bag and thats when i let her have it then she talked sh1t abt me in hindi very very very soon theyre gonna be telling canadians what to do in our own country theyre gonna rule over us and nothings happening to stop them just 2 weeks ago 2 of them were legit playing bumper cars on the street... cant even take the bus im a little az girl i have to stand at the front cant go back theyre its too full cant go back there again it smells like perspiration it always does we dont even have our own home yet were still renting smh anyways heres another lesson on how to reconize them backpack hanging low? indi student scan their clothes youll know its not from here look at their pants their shoes their shirts the way they walk and reconize whos an indi student n whos not n stay away from them they have no consideration too an old woman was trying to get off the bus with her walker thing and no one helped like 12 big indi guys were on the bus just looking at her i thought she got it but she didnt so i had to help her CANADA IS A SH!T HOLE n i cant even move out cause im still a child beggin my dad to move to kansas or something but he thinks they wont let him in... This is embarrassing to watch as an Indian, the entitlement is making my skin crawl. They absolutely have ZERO right protesting. I feel like the government is also to blame for letting so many these “students” in.

So basically, Canadian govt. data says Indians who are citizens as per 2021 are 1.3 million i.e. 2.5 % of the total population..lets add almost half a million more in terms if students and work permit guys... That makes it 4-5%..\n\nThis looks like a sinister video plan and editing to me..I am an Indian in Canada learning the ways here..bt its always give and take...we learn few good-bad things from others Nd likewise they do.\n\nWhites were never the original Canadians...they are europeans!! Since you both decided to make a video with half truths, let me educate you- \n1. A student visa is a temporary visa and literally no country promises permanent residence on a student visa. Scam consultants in India, shady colleges in Canada and spurious potential students line up to abuse the system. Good that Canada is pushing back \n2. Amazon wale bhaiya doesn’t exist in most developed nations with high cost of labour. Would you rather take your Amazon return package to a mail centre or get paid less at your job\n3. Average home price is $300k in 2024\n4. Around 43% can afford a primary residence in Canada which is bad but not as bad as 10%\n5. lol I agree that safe supply was a stupid decision but Canada is not ridden with homelessness and drug use. Far from it actually\n6. Dental, vision and prescription meds are typically covered by employer insurance. There are govt policies in most provinces to cover these for low income families and seniors in most provinces. lol there’s no way it’s cheaper to go to a dentist in India \n7. Wait times for specialists are bad but if it’s urgent, one may access a specialist as soon less than a week. And no, babus don’t define it its an emergency, doctors do \n\nWho’s the hypocrite now? Canada, with all its recent problems is still miles better than India

In Bangladesh, all university students have been protesting against the quota system. But today the ruling party student wing, Bangladesh Chhatro League along with the police has attacked the students and many been severely injured. Not a single broadcasting channel has covered this on the news due to pressure from the government. It is my request to you that you make a video about this to let the whole world see what is happening in Bangladesh. Thank you.

Its crappy, I'm at the point in my life where me and my fiancée are making more money then we ever have, but its going no where. We need immigrants, we do not need this much. I go on tiktok and there are tutorials for people coming into this country on how to obtain free food, like from food banks and what not, spite the fact we have minimum funding requirements for students coming here. It sucks, because the minimum isn't high enough for somebody to actually live off, and its taking food away from desperate Canadians who really need it. Some of my best friends are immigrants, and it sucks to try to speak up about it, only to be bashed as a bigot or xenophobic. I'm not either of those things, we just have a HUGE issue caused by a massive influx of people. Its not the people's fault, its the failure of our government. I have no issues with anybody who wants to live a better life, I have massive issues with a government letting new immigrants experience a mediocre, and overpriced, life at the cost of everybody else's life getting WAY more expensive and difficult. My rent for a 2bd apartment in 2014 was $770 all included, Grocery bill was about 170 every two weeks. That has all tripled in the last 10 years, Legit tripled. *Only mentioning those two, because they have gone up the most, but EVERYTHING has gone up. (about 2-3x) Its crazy to think when I was making 8-10 dollars less an hour, I had more money, it went MUCH further.

People live longer here in Canada, and 30-40% you will find people living above 60 plus age. \n\nAny refugee claimant coming to Canada, gets Welfare from Govt., atleast $800 per month....he/she is not even PR, or citizen...they get child benefits as well...they get free of cost work/study permit...\n\ndoes any country provide that?? You need to do research on that part...\n\nOnly temporary residents, such as students, visitors except Refugee claimants have issues, dont forget their main purpose here in Canada is studying or visiting, giving 20hrs per week to work, its optional, I have seen arabic students and other nationalities focusing on studying more than work. People take loans for studies in India from banks, then come to Canada. Then whole family comes to Canada with mediums, sponsorships, some dont even fill their loans completely...you need to search on that....\nNo Nation is perfect, but if you want me to start comparing peaceful life between, India and other nations, Canada vs USA, Canada vs Australia...Then lets have a long conversation...! \n\nI am not hurt as a Canadian Citizen, but if students can’t find jobs, and they only want to stay in Brampton or Toronto their life, not whole nations problem....just like people wants to move to Delhi and Mumbai for life miracles...same goes here with Indian People being doing same old “Bhed Chaal”....\n\nComing to junkies life and homelessness, 80% of the people came from jail or have done shady things in their life, not like Canadian system made them like this. ( on Friday every month, they get their welfare $800 monthly, they cash out the money and still do drugs, disturb life they have) \n\nThere are things which can be done to make nation perfect, but every nation is surviving and plus some nations are fighting wars. I believe, Canada is the safest country so far, accepting refugees from other countries takes courage....

The blunt truth is that the majority of ostensible international students from India coming into Canada happen to be from the state of Punjab and are Sikhs. The state of Punjab is the educational dregs of India as it is mostly agricultural. What is happening is this influx of so-called students from Punjab are in fact hooligans and come to Canada in the guise of being students. But are in fact here to become permanent residents by hook or by crook. This phenomena is a recent development since 2020-21. Prior to that the students who came to Canada from India were genuine students that is why Canada did not see the problems from so-called international students from India prior to 2020-21. Canada really needs to screen carefully for both academic credentials as well as English language facility. These so-called international students cannot speak basic English. How in the world are they going to actually fare in Canadian post-secondary education let alone at University level. Canada is now facing an influx of these hooligans and they ALL need to be deported back to India.

Correction - our government wants immigrants, the people are sick and tired of the mass immigration. It will end when Trudeau is kicked out. There are too many here already! It has strained our healthcare, our real estate market, we have East Indian students on study visas protesting and demanding to be let into the country. It is time for the Canadian government to benefit young Canadian families and let those that come here do so legally and with a job awaiting them. The insanity has to be over, if PP can't do the job, the Reform party will.

I've been living in Canada for the last 10 years ( came here as an international student), and now applying for my permanent residency. Went through high school, post secondary, and now working a full-time job in my field of study. I would say it's long overdue for Canada to scale down on its immigration policies (yes, I've had this thought even when I was a student so anyone who thinks I switched teams can shut up). There are simply not enough houses to accommodate Canadian, let alone immigrants. A lot of them only work minimum wage jobs which neither help the country with shortages in other fields nor their careers in the long term, and overall it gives immigrants a bad rap in the eyes of Canadian citizen. The recent changes in immigration imo is a good first step in the right direction.\n\nEdit: Also I'd like to add that if you're leaving your own home country to join another for a better life, it's your responsibility to adapt and contribute to their society, not the other way around. If you can't do that, stay in your home country.

It's not immigration it's called invasion..we need to stand up now.this has to stop.. anyone the Liberals let in since they came into power should have they're citizen ships revoked and sent home.. when the students are done they're studies they go home.end of story..now I know how the natives of Canada must have felt..this must stop at all costs ?

I think Canada should shut it's borders completely NO IMMIGRANTS at all except the most severe cases for asylum. Once we get back on out feet get housing, unemployment and our budget balanced better then slowly look at what Canada needs. Our university students can't get jobs because we aren't trained personel. Trudeau policy doesn't force companies here to train he let's them hire from outside Canada. So here it's useless to get higher education knowing at graduation you get to work at Tim Hortons

They’re not immigrants but invaders , let’s be honest a large majority of them uses the student visas as a loophole to get PR , with little English or French capability / understanding , and they will never assimilate themselves to Canadian Culture .

Nice video. I hope govt starts accepting the fact that they have fucked up the situation. Its the govt who let so many of them in. Colleges introduced fake or low quality courses with no future and immigration office kept on accepting the visas. \nIf only they were vigilant enough to see what the courses were about. I was told that in many courses, students are just studying online and working for full time. Part was legal work and part was on cash. \nY was CRA not active about the cash activities going on around canada ? \nAnd now govr has again introduced this permanent visa on arrival for caregivers. Does govt think people are going to continue working in the caregiver field after getting there PR. Is govr going to keep a check on where the salaries are coming from in bank accounts of those who were given PR on arrival as caregivers ?\nThere are a lot of questions. Policies shouldnt be made on the basis of just trying to solve the recent problems, but rather with long sightedness to keep future similar problems at bay.

A Pakistani talking about Indian immigration, and listen to this... the biggest blunder he makes is by saying that he is feeling more unsafe in Canada than in Pakistan. Jesus, people these days are so out of touch???.... Boy, your own home country is a failed state and the biggest terrorist hub on the planet,,, FACTSSSS. Let's not forget that.\n\nI agree with Harrison that immigration has been excessive and has gone out of control in Canada over the past few years, and I would say the current government is mostly to blame. They should tighten regulations regarding study permits and issue visas only to genuine students who want to grow in this beautiful country, rather than those planning to work at pizza shops for the rest of their lives. We also need to crack down on the aggressive sales practices of immigration consultants in developing nations like India. Canadians government letting in so many people on student visa just so they can get money. These people getting screwed. Just don't let people in by hundred thousands. Government should have limit.

Everybody knows it, but everyone either lies about it or pretends it's otherwise. The primary motive of international students from low and lower income countries coming to Canada is for permanent residency, registering into a post-secondary course is just the price to pay for PR as far as they are concerned. International students know it, the government knows it, and post-secondary institutions know it. Let's all drop the education charade and have a clear cut policy about immigration through education. One easy way is by strictly requiring that all foreign graduates can ONLY apply for immigration from their home country after graduating from Canada. This is the only way Canada can control the timing, the process and the quality of people.
