Canadian (Albertan here) - yes, i don't think i'd move to the States unless it was reasonably close (maybe Montana) with fewer people - i'd like to identify as a Hermit :). I motorcycle and have travelled majority of the States, from coast to coast, and i really do like the country side and scenery, and history, that you run through. I do a 4000-6000 mile tripe every year or two - did Tennessee last year, and Colorado this summer. A lot of absolutely amazing country really, and yes some really great people as well. Have run into some real odd people as well and some places i wanted to get out of pretty quick. I do like the fact the US hasn't bought into this woke agenda and politically correctness - it's absolutely nuts up here. I like the gun laws in the States, too bad we're so screwed over that in Canada. Gotta love Trump - may be a bit of a bozo but hey - the guy lays it out and owns his shit, every other polititician plays the blame game and does everything politically correct... End of day, i'd prefer to stay in Canada, either Alberta or British Columbia.

I know correlation does not equal causation but you do not even examine the possibility that the far higher salaries in America in certain sectors like tech compared to those in Canada might at least partly be the result of having a more restrictive immigration policy for workers in those sectors in America compared to in Canada. The same possibility does also occur when it comes to the relatively much higher cost of housing in Canada. This possibility is to a relatively neutral (British) observer such an obvious logical possibility that I'm afraid I'm going to have to ding pretty hard this otherwise pretty good video for not addressing it. You start with a supposition - the American immigration system is broken and the Canadian system is great - but the facts that you produce in the video, assuming that the point of immigration is to raise living standards, seem to exactly contradict your supposition?!?

This is something that could really help my industry if that 65,000 was raised. Everybody knows aviation is a tight industry, and with a massive labor shortage. The flight school I attend is half immigrants, mostly Japanese and Korean with a moderate minority of Europeans and Africans. The Asian students are for the most part wanting to stay in the US, despite not coming from poor nations. The opportunity for a pilot here is leagues above anywhere else bar Europe, but most will likely not even be able to maintain a work visa, let alone a green card. This also means (as pointed out) that leaving the country is hard, and they would only be allowed to fly domestic flights within the country (no flying to Canada). The issues that these highly qualified pilots could solve by being allowed to work in the US airline industry are inconceivable.\n\nIt took my mum (I was born British-American) took 9 years to become a US citizen, I was there for her first swearing in, and the UK is America’s closest ally. Imagine how difficult it is for immigrants not of such nationality.

You are exceptionally fair Tyler. I commend your non toxic efforts In fact you might even be too humble, so feel free to throw in some pro U.S counterpoints. I'm British, and I would choose Canada over the U.S.A. But? There are good reasons many Brits I know, would pack to go to the U.S.A today if they could.(The flight cost is immense though.)\nWhy would they want to? Kinda the american dream. Bright lights, believed untapped opportunities, and most of all to gain some of that American infectious enthusiasm & non jaded openness. I consider Canadians as generally having the best traits of U.K & U.S people. Wanting to live there, shouldn't be a loaded invite to dump generally on the U.S.\nI'm a hypocrite here, as I love tease mocking Americans. And yes some serious issues like health care & gun control need highlighted & re-highlighted, to not allow numbness to what shames a nation. But? Vastly more often than not actually detailed not generic solutions, are almost never offered. Just pointing fingers instead,\nIts Americans like you Tyler, that help remind us that the rooting tooting stereotypes, are dumb..\nFor what its worth? I do have ideas on ways on how to have the U.S.A to help herself.\nThat's my rant done with. Lol. ?Brits in Spain on holiday? Generally not a good advertisement, for moving to the UK. (With the exception of recent weather heroes. Like the Brit who drove for 8 hours, transferring people.)

British Columbia is gorgeous! You only showed cities like Vancouver and Victoria and completely missed the beautiful 'wide open spaces', the beauties of places like Banff, Lake Louise, the National Parks, the famous ski hills, the northern province where living is less expensive, the Rockies, the amazing wildlife, the Okanagan (Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton, where people are flocking to live) with colorful Kalamalka Lake, International airports, great winter snow sports and summer water sports, fishing and hunting, goldpanning, Entertainment centers, job opportunities--Construction never slowed down for a second during Covid in Kelowna. B.C., a beautiful place to live! And remember--'Life is what YOU make it'! By the way, you never mentioned the Oil in Alberta, which makes it a pretty independently wealthy province!!

No we are not a better America. We have a sane country, no guns, no militarized police, a democracy, a parliamentary form of government and a King as our Head of State. A Trump would be impossible up here. We elect a party not a leader. One non-confidence in parliament and our Vice Regent, the Governor General would inform the King and parliament would be closed for a new election. We also have no ridiculous nearly 250-year-old Constitution. Our Consitution is based upon the British North American Act. We can revise it anytime with the Governor General's permission (and the King's). We are a peaceful nation and do not think like Americans. But I'd travel in the North East US. America''s fixation with patriotism is nauseating.

I'm British, now retired and living in Spain for 20 years. Have noticed that in the last 10 years there are an awful lot of Americans who are moving here mainly because, although they still have to have private health, it's hugely cheaper here and the service is good; also the lifestyle is more laid back and they can visit a lot of different cultures. In the late 1960s my husband and I emigrated to Toronto, Canada. Visited the US a couple of times. First to NY city, second time down to Kentucky /Tennessee. My parents came on that trip with us. Met Americans at the motels we stayed in and a couple of times my father nearly lost it (don't know how he just kept quiet) as Americans his age were quite abusive and kept on about about how we'd never be able to repay America for their help in WW2 (my father fought in that for all 6 years). Anyway left Canada after 4 years and returned to England; not because we didn't like it but I was terribly homesick. None of the Canadians we're still in touch with would ever have moved to the US.

Most of these responses seemed to be from left-leaning people in Canada. British Columbia is NDP, socialist leaning, in other words. I'm from Alberta. We recently had an election here and made it abundantly clear we do not want the NDP running our province. We have a gun culture here and won't give up our arms. I didn't read one mention of the PM in Canada. Yet, walk around and all you hear about is the hatred people have of him and the division he has caused. The leader of the NDP sides with him. I actually have dual citizenship, so harbor no bad feelings to the US. I just don't go where there are a lot of left-leaning Dems/Liberals. Alberta to Texas is almost like not leaving Alberta, just going to the ranch down the way and visiting family.

My Sister live in Canada now,but for me living in Canada is not Wise, because the cost of living this country is high, other law,and other. That's why in my Province in Dumaguete City Neg. Or, are many Canadians, especially old Canadians, especially many kinds of NATIONALITIES,like Americans, British, Germany, Russians, Ukrainians, Africans, Japanese,Koreans, Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, and many more.

To be fair, Alberta is the most conservative province in Canada. We call it the Texas of Canada for a reason...\nMaybe she wasnt aware of this, but she would have been better off moving one of the other provinces. Like Ontario or British Columbia.

I hope britain very graciously carves out a part of itself for muslims, like how the british created pakistan out of India

I request Britishers watching this comment of mine . This religion will strip off your basic freedom . They don't care about it . Once they are in majority the rules & laws would be made accordingly like there's so it's high time to resist them . “ Nip the evil in the bud ”

Having lived in Vancouver and other areas in British Columbia all my life and gone to school with black students and black teachers I have NEVER seen any white person once disrespect a black person. I am white and 69 years old. DO NOT speak like we white people are all racists!
|
| 2023-05-15 | 0 |
She should just relocate her life will be better. Alberta is generally western and backward like some old Alabama. Even the Cree natives face the same treatment. Most people are ignorant. There’s a reason blacks naturally settled in the better province of Ontario, Quebec if you’re French speaker and British Columbia. Also New Brunswick Nova Scotia is still better than that cold Calgary.

Phil. This is why we need a massive push for reparations nationwide in the U.S.A, and Blacks of Canada who descended from Black Loyalist should be seeking reparation from British- Canada and then we need to start a mass exodus to a safe haven on the continent of Africa such Sierra Leone or Liberia where we can purchase land and collectively build our city and surrounding towns. We aren't making any progress by constantly telling each other of our experience of abuse dueto White racism. The only way we're ever going to solve this is to start planning our exodus and building our own away from them, And once we are away from them and have our act together we can then began discussing other matters in regards to maintaining our safety and security, even if that means dealings with others who have the ability to train us in how best protect ourselves from those who like creating problems all over the globe

Your scores don’t tally, why will I struggle for the job and harsh weather? The dollar is poor, I don't like Canada. I think is just for people looking for passport but when you get your British passport and settled on immigration, Uk is far better.

People, Islamophobia is NOT acceptable. These people need to stop imposing their beliefs on the British people, but they should still be able to keep their religion, because that is their right. As long as they’re not harming or killing anyone, they should be accepted. Muslims need love, just like the rest of us. Us humans should be able to live in peace.\n That being said, poisoning dogs is just NOT acceptable either.

British Columbia's biggest source of income is land transfer taxes. They have no motivation to lower housing costs. Our policies are so anti business its sad. Who would want to set up shop here? You take on big risks and get taxed like crazy at every step. Most people would rather work a government job than start a business.

Well what happened was like three hundred plus years ago there was an invasion into this country from European Invaders and the natives who are indigenous to this land tried to fight vigorously to keep this land but unfortunately with modern technology being on the foreign Invaders side they wanted this land America and after the British claim victory they took this land over plundered it and now the Mexicans and Native Americans want their land back. If you repeat a lie over a long period of time that lie will become one's reality!

Why does it seem like it's only Europe and the United States that these migrants want to go to...and it feels they think they have the RIGHT to do so. I can tell you with a british passport I have to comply with all types of entry policies including covid policies and strict restrictions on how many days I can visit. Yet these guys can just force their way in! ( .. or try to )

How dare they.!!!!!! This is our country. If they don’t like our way of life then go back to where you came from. You can’t claim areas as Muslim only. This isn’t your country. You are invaders to be honest. You have no say in a country you don’t belong to. So, keep your Sharia law. We have our own legal system, Either you fit in with the British people or you don’t. In that case, you are welcome to leave any time. Good riddance.

Actually I’m a Canadian and here in British Columbia we are actually not snowy people I never have seen maple syrup before and also we are more like skilled fighters kinda like mandalorians off Star Wars and we are also very technologically advanced like wakanda compared to other countries and we are kind honourable respectful and also are more like the warrior elites of humanity also other countries see the us as a place where Americans are rude racist sexist criminals corrupt and don’t care about anyone else but themselves also compared to our military the us military are defective also don’t forget the technology and money ways is good also we don’t start wars but are always willing to help you win the wars you struggle to win America also at the same time being the actual soldiers winning it for you in your wars since yours can’t fight and are too rude and all that also we don’t yell at our soldiers in training we are nice and don’t say aye also don’t got those weird looking horse riding people and I have never seen a moose in the wild so maybe you should try looking in the library for once and not a corrupt one

The longer it’s delayed the rougher the shut down is going to look like when it happens. There was a British author that predicted two futures for mass migration in the 70’s, we Mount machine guns at the border, or we roll over and forget our heritage and let it all flow away.
|
| 2023-03-12 | 0 |
There are no Muslim areas. This is our country not yours. Concentrate on your own people’s acts. Keep your opinions to yourself. You are not British. If you don’t like it here then go back home.
|
| 2023-03-11 | 1 |
How dare they. This is our country. They are invaders. I agree to some extent, too many drunks, but this is our problem, none of their business. Actually they need to address the atrocities within their own so called culture . You all know what I mean. We, in the West have always welcomed people from other countries, so long as they respect Britain and its people. Refrain from trying to change our way of life.\nYou are guests, if you don’t approve or like anything we do then you are politely free to return to your own countries. We are British, you are in Britain. Your opinion is not needed. Don’t like ????? Then just go.

If these Muslims groups don't like the way we live work and play they should bugger off to their own countries, who do they think they are were British and proud of it.

I am an American. I am looking to relocate to Canada because of the bad experiences I have had as a California Licensed Structural Engineer with 25+ years of experience. This US license is really difficult to obtain because the exam has a 25% pass rate. In California, it is much tougher because of the earthquakes the state experiences.\n\nInstead of being treated with respect for having this Structural Engineer License, I have been treated badly by structural engineering firms in the US. In the US, you can be fired for no reason at all. They use Performance Improvement Plans to lay me off because I am much smarter than the people I work with. Licensed Structural Engineers do not have job security - so expect to work only a few months.\n\nIn the US, you will have a job for 4 months because your boss has decided to hire someone cheaper and give himself a raise. This happened to me at the City and County of Denver.\n\nLicensed Structural Engineers do not have job security at all because employers do not care about their employees. With workplaces like that, the US is not the place to be. American is not the greatest nation when you have morons like Harry Dunn and Lloyd Christmas from the movie Dumb and Dumber running things! Americans are downright stupid! That is why I am considering relocating to Canada.\n\nI started taking structural engineering courses at the University of British Columbia so I could better myself and get some Canadian experience. In the US, this cannot happen because Americans do not believe in bettering your professional career opportunities. In American companies, you can get fired for getting more education. It is really interesting doing these courses because I am learned alot of different engineering skills that they do not teach in the US. Plus I will be getting an award from Canada.

Don’t like alcohol. Fuck off back to the Middle East. Why you live in great Britain if you hate it there so much. There are the only race of people who don’t integrate. Because of the book which in brainwashing their minds. British is a joke now

I've seen your other sketches, but this is the funniest of the bunch because, being an American, Everything you say about Canadians is absolutely true: everybody who's on t v or in the movies turns out to be Canadian. We just assume they are americans because they sound just like us. True historical fact for you guys: after the revolution, the American one that is, Benjamin Franklin, wanted to annex Canada as part of the United States, but the British turned it down. otherwise, you would have been Americans.

I think most ppl have to remember it’s a British Colony we still pay the Queen(kinda embarrassing) Usa had seen this problem for more than 200 years ago. Personally I think they leave Canada with a low population with mostly submissive immigrants and people who fled from war torn countries as bargaining chips as they would be less likely to complain against the same ppl who invited them. Just remember the fiasco with the Syrians a couple years back. Canada hasn’t been the same since the 90s those were good times to invest. And for anybody trying to out bid Chinese for real estate post pandemic good luck ??

I live in British Columbia. In a city people consider “dangerous.” I remember I had a package delivered to my door. I was at work so I couldn’t go get it. I was imagining those videos I saw on YouTube of people getting their packages stolen within 10 minutes of it sitting there. But nah, It stayed there for 6 hours and never got stolen. Heck my workplace, had a package delivered on Friday evening and it stayed there outside until Monday. I was very surprised both times. I’m not saying that I’m living in a utopia, I’ve gotten robbed before, like everyone else I have my complaints. I think what really helps Canada is the smaller population. Less people means less people to rob shit. That tap water do be nice though.

Sir, definitely a like to the video for clear and simple format video. Its great help for a newbies. But @make it simple I have five quick questions if you could provide a little more clairty would be helpful.\n1) The account you created looks a new launched portal compared to GC Key account, if yes is it better to use new portal instead of GC Key?\n2) At 20:19 invitation letter section where it is written Canada province of Quebec(top left section of letter), if I am in British columbia would I write Canada province of British columbia?\n3) Regarding Affidavit part @25.53 did you printed affidavit on a notary stamp paper or can we use a simple word format typed affidavit?\n4) can you share cover letter format as well?\n5) Also for financial proof, I am planning to attach my Parents bank statements but can I also additionally link mine & my spouse's statements as well?
|
| 2022-12-29 | 0 |
Here are the solutions to every problem you have stated.\n1. Homelessness \nNot a problem at all, you're not homeless, government's taking care of them, they aren't physically dangerous so what's your problem?\n2. Racism,.\nAhh, if you're worried about racism, you should also worry sexism, class divide, tall people looking down at short people, good looking people looking down upon ugly people... this shit never ends. Ask Michael Jordan his experiences with racism, it all depends on how charming, successful, good looking and smart you are. Since it's silent you don't hear it so no problems here. \n3. Health Care\nGo visit a country that has a much better health care than Canada, such as China for a cheaper price, you get to travel and fix your health, problem solved. \n4. Technology.\nI think we can all agree that techonology is the reason our societies are fucked up. You can never have enough high tech, you can also never not have tech.\n5. Tax is a bitch in Canada, this one just straight up sucks unless if you're super rich and has a corporation, That means you can easily get around it as well. So don't be a middle class I guess?\n6. Employment sucks here, but it depends on your field, some fields pay pretty well, you just don't get the best of anything in Canada. Toronto however has the most fields meaning you can change your career without moving to another city like you do in any other city around the world.\n7. Housing is a bitch in Canada. \nBut the solution is to move to a smaller city or get a job that you work from home. \n\nIf you're not able to find solutions to these problems, don't come to Canada, leave the country if you're here and move to North Korea or any country that doesn't have captalism. Lives over there are more simple, and stop believing the lies your fake news media tells you. Those countries aren't evil, no country could be as evil as the British, Americans and its allies in 1000 years if they tried. You live on a stolen land called Canada (USA and etc) ran by criminals who are here to enslave you. What did you expect your life would be like?
|

If I'd ever be to move to canada it'd either be British Colombia Ontario or Saskatchewan\nThey all have cites (Toronto Ottawa, Vancouver Victoria, Regina saskatoon) which look like good places to live but that's just an assumption

Before finishing the video, as a British Columbian, I’m making a guess that it will be kind of high on the list because of the terrain but brought down by the cost of things especially in Vancouver.\n\n\nEdit: damn I was right, now It looks like I lied, I promise I didn’t, it was a guess.\n\nEdit 2: yeah, you have a perfect description of Vancouver and Victoria ?\n\nEdit 3: I’d like to add that Alberta is considered the Texas of Canada to many of us lol

Am I to understand that same as if someone does something good in the UK, they’re called British and someone fails to do so they’re called by the region they’re from, the same can be said about Hollywood actors , if they’re good they’re American, until they do something somebody doesn’t like, then they become Canadian ?

Hi Jason from the Uk I want to move on and settle down in Canada. How will I get there I am a British citizen and how much money. I am not about immigration rules I have to apply online. It’s having to take too many tests that’s why? You need slot of IQ \nTests so where do I stand in the immigration process. It’s not easy at all. I feel held back. Why is it too hard \nI am waiting to buy a PC laptop before I start to apply. How much it will cost ? \nThanks Jason but I feel it’s very hard. \nIt’s not like the UK. I can speak in English not sure about the French language. It’s a very hard situation to do but willing to pass all the tests ok. \nI hope to go abroad. Please let me know. The language test is hard and what else can I do. I use my mobile phone at the moment. Ok Jason ok. \nI am single at 54 years at the moment. \nI have good pass. Can I meet you on this issue. Ok Jason. I might do it soon. I don’t get much help. Right now I can speak to you. I can speak only English. Yes I have worked in the UK. \nWhat can I do go to the immigration office in London. The cost is very much expensive. Ok. Maybe in sales work medical job. I have no job right now so I am waiting for a new job. I am wanting to leave the Uk it’s ok but no real future at all. I will but need my laptop that will cost slot of money. I don’t want to be duped in this application forms. I want a visas and permanent work visas or something like the same thing. The cold in British Columbia and nova scotia si a very different cold from Central Canada like Ontario. On the coastal provinces the cold is also more wet and damp and the wind is very wet and damp and cuts you to the bone . In Ontario the cold is much more dry so even when the temperature is higher in BC then it is in Ontario it will still feel much colder in BC or NS because of the damp wet air and winds coming from the Pacific or Atlantic .

LOL next time you go to British Columbia go to where I'm from and it's a little Valley called blueberry Creek it's in the interior about 400 mi from Vancouver Vancouver isn't as bad as you say it seems that way but truly I lived there for about 10-15 years after I grew up in blueberry and it is definitely unpredictable that's for sure you have to take an umbrella with you or a raincoat or a sweater or something cuz you could go out in the morning it's bright and sunny and by the time you get to the bus stop it's raining that is very true but it doesn't last long there is certain seasons that it rains but if you look at the meteorology it really isn't that much more than anywhere else and gloomy you want to talk about gloomy you live in Alberta I live there for quite a while and one morning I woke up and I just couldn't take it anymore all you see is different shades of gray and brown so I packed up and went home and finally saw green again I'm glad you guys are in Canada but boy do I hear you I used to be middle class owned a home and some land and then I became homeless because yes that's what our government is trying to do they don't want me to class people we have too much power when Harris came into power he almost succeeded in wiping out the middle class dirt poor have no say in anything so I'm trapped here I hope you guys have the freedom to go where you like I really do you guys are great

Canada was colonised by the British - same as Nigeria. Sounds like they are doing well. High cost of living is not a good thing. Why Is cost of living so high? \n\nBigger city ? I don’t live too far from the main city but not in the main city.
