The Liberals haven’t worked hard enough to solve the problem and Trudeau himself said housing isn’t the Federal Government’s responsibility when it is, not only is it a Federal issue but it’s an issue at all levels of government. Liberals are more interested in the economy, rather than the quality of life for its citizens. Canada is no longer a dream country where immigrants will thrive. It’s only the generational wealthy, real estate developers and foreign investors who thrive.

Obviously new citizens have hope for Canada. But how about talking to the people that have lived here all their lives and have not fulfilled their own hopes and dreams? See how they feel about everything that's happened in the last ten years.

Me and my family moved to Canada ?? 8 years ago. Today we have our own house, brand new car and some commodities. It has been tough to say the least. Competition with other immigrants on school spots, jobs, promotions, etc. All of us want to succeed, to live the Canadian dream. And to move up is possible but takes time, effort, and a lot of work.

Honestly Canadian dream looks scarier than American dreams\nBefore coming to Canada in Nov 2019 I used to work in Singapore for 7 years. After migrating to Toronto I gotta do extra part time. Job to make the ends meet. I was blessed with so many part time jobs but they were all survival jobs honestly. After few years I returned back to Singapote to retry my luck here again and I got a job doing gov project.

I visited Canada 15 years ago and that was my vision of the country. Sadly, although still being a first world country, is decaying. Im living in Canada because that was my dream 15 years ago, and although still a good option, is definitely not what I was expecting.

I completely agree with all that you said, specially how Canada doesn't take care of their immigrants properly, they just want money and they don't see them as humans. I really hope that things can get better... I came to this country as my childhood dream but is sad to see how low is falling.

As a child of first generation immigrants and now lived here for 80% of my life and calling Canada my home, I empathize with how difficult coming to a new country is and the generosity of Canadians. I'm proof that the Canadian dream is possible; thanks to my teachers, social workers, friends, and community at large, I now make more money than both my parents combined, have a house and 2 dogs. While there's hard work at play, it's also the warmth of everyone that's made this a reality. I hope we can have a realistic and win-win plan of integrating immigrants, provide immigrants and residents the opportunity to work hard towards their dreams so we can ALL live a better life.

Canadian government is begging immigrants to fill their job requirements . You don't study hard, work hard, dream big. What do you expect from your government. Look arround the streets of Canada filled up with drug addicts and lazy people. The immigrants are making your country move , not you. Help yourselves first.

Immigration has become infestation in both the US and Canada. Our ?? Prime Minister is instrumental in causing the problem on our side of the border. I apologize to all my American family and friends. Since Justin Castro took office in 2015 we’ve gone from 36 million to 41 million in population. Our system can’t handle that amount, so off they go to the US. I’m convinced Justin in his narcissistic mind dream’s about someday ruling India.

Canada likes selling dreams. I am in Alberta, trying to move to PEI and I'm french, unfortunately when you search, you find out that they don't have lots of jobs. They have designated compagies for the Atlantic pathway, but when you look at them one by one you don't see jobs. They talk about massive recruitment while those who are there can't find jobs and other immigrants are protesting for temporary work permit extensions. Good luck! We never know.

I am a Canadian who loves the USA. I hate my PM with a passion, he is destroying our country and will not be satisfied until he takes down the USA too. His father Pierre Elliot Trudeau was also a commie like his son and he hated the USA and Britian. Strangely I know Germans who emigrated to Canada recently and who love to live there now. So for outsiders the situations looks way brighter than from the inside. It is the same in Germany though. People are so dissatisfied even though they are living the dream compared to 80% of the world population.

Whatever you are saying its a lie , i ll tell you my story i was looking for a government job in UP Police or CRPF later i found out i have knock knees and i was shattered i moved to canada in 2010 and my start was really hard i cleaned washroom , i worked in mcdonalds and i received my citizenship in 2020 and currently i am working as a police officer in RCMP and i am proud to say that canada have given my dream :) there is problem but i would say it just 20 percent and rest everything is a lie indian girls never dated but i found my love in canada i was lucky enough that i met my wife here and she approached me i didnt do any effort

The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place—jobs, healthcare, housing—to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.\n\nCanada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system—it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada.\n\nWe see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. When I advise others, they think we're living the dream in Canada while trying to stop them from coming. I moved to Canada 12 years ago, and the country has changed beyond recognition.

Canada's infrastructure didn't keep up with the immigration numbers, so the problem has worsen since 2021. It is very difficult to go back when you pay international fees which are 2-3 times the fees for Canadians and PR holders, because to pay you off yhat loan you have to earn in $$$. Students should also know buting a single family house, the canadian dream is becoming unattainable by each passing day.

Been there for the past 5 years and i gave up my PR and returned back to India, all these points are cent percent true except for the students deportation, initially this occurred due to fraudulent admission letters to Canadian academic institutions were one of the primary reasons behind the deportation of Indian students, the scams happened in India itself, similar issues surfaced with Australia...later on new provincial laws were updated in PEI etc, where students had to face the heat of deportation. To add on the problems racism and weapon culture is also increasing day by day which makes you feel insecure. Inflation in grocery transport real estate is peaking, buying home in canada is dream if you and your spouse aren't working.

Till date I've got no benefit from Canada, except for bills and spending money on taxes and rent. This is damn true! - Work permits are getting queries, PR files are getting rejection. No job part time opportunities.\n\n1. Renting a room, especially for boys is the hardest if you are looking a private room. (my rent is 950$ for a private room, i struggle to pay this every month - without having a job)\n2. All banks want you to get enrolled as a student, then give credit cards, so you can easily buy things and pay them more and get you involved in the loop. \n3. I've applied in almost every job for part time, got rejection due to no available positions (Reasons : too many applicants)\n4. You are not gonna get a job in your field, unless you are into finance or IT with a found background.\n5. I DAILY SEE OUR PEOPLE ALSO GETTING ATTRACTED TO THIS CULTURE, SMOKING WEED ON A DAILY BASIS AND DOING MANY THINGS WHICH I FEEL STUDENTS MUST NOT DO. \n6. For my chest pain, they kept me waiting 4 hours in a line. Asked me that if i can stand and sit for a while then i must not worry. I was completely weak at that time, shivering and going through 101 fever.\n7. 75$ monthly for MSP insurance we pay as temporary residents -> still waiting for 4 hours to meet the doctor.\n8. Current situation of students is worse here, no opportunities for many students who come with hope, especially if they are coming for PGDM, or bachelors. Currently at this time only, MASTERS is given a priority.\n9. Don't think about applying for PR, unless you are filthy rich, unless you have exceptional skills in the industries which IRCC is looking for.\n10. Racism is at its peak, especially only on students** sad thing to say but yes this is the reality of international students.\n\n\nI hope all my brothers and sisters here come with a planning, strategy and best and worst case scenarios preparation. Same problems with mass immigration in UK, Canada, New Zealand, USA, Australia. It is so unfair when these new immigrants come and right away they are able to buy and own prime real estates while original Canadians that this country actually belongs to can only watch and dream of a chance of owning one but can not afford it. Worst yet most of these new immigrants they buy these homes and land not to live on it, but to build on it as for investments on behalf of investers that live in China, Hong Kong, India or some where else. This should be totally not allowed in your beloved Canada. Your Leaders and Law Makers of Canada should first and foremost consider the need and an opportunity to its people.
