To build the wall is realistic but to deport these people is not, one can take out 100 persons as a great resounding demo but it won’t do any good. The resources are not going to be well spent. Why is one man, and a man with severe mental problems able to upend the total legal fraternity of a country and not be held accountable!!! The existing government can clearly see the dangers of this incoming administration but sit idly by and allow this corruption to manifest! Biden has the ability and powers of the presidency to stop Trump in his tracks, Why isn’t he? What is Biden afraid of? Trump is one man or is it the behind the scenes organisations that have installed trump and bought the presidency for him to serve their own agendas . With a total moron like Trump at the helm there are foreign adversaries that are going to complete the destruction of American institutions in a way that is going to severely damage Americas standing in the world!! Bit misleading to suggest that Trump led Republicans in shooting down that bill like it was some form of sabotage. The democrats completely undid Trump's boarder policies prior to coming up with a plan, and the tried to pass that garbage bill after the fact.\n\nJust because the Democrats put forward a bill on immigration doesn't make it a good package that the opposition is obligated to back. They should have left his laws in place until they had something better and less partisan. Instead they brought on the collapse of our entire immigration system for several years. Also shame on the republicans for being self-serving RINOs without independent thought. Just following the flow of power for their own sake. Sucking up to the Democrats one day, and Trump the next.

I see a lot of (what I assume is MAGA) crying about confusing illegal and legal. Clearly this video was mostly about illegal. But the few charts with legal immigration data included show that there is a turn against both legal and illegal immigration (see chart on left at 1:50 ). Seems like MAGA victimhood seeking, as per usual ? Also note the massive run-up in Trump's 1st term in encounters (tripled from 2017-2019) ? He was only saved by COVID collapsing the economic drive for illegal immigration. And even then, most of the run-up post COVID lockdown was in place by Jan 2021 ( 3:30 ). So he does not have a great 1st term record, despite the hot air. Let's see this time, will be interesting to have the massive military deployment needed to detain, intern and eventually deport the 12m or so total ? Note again how that number has been basically constant over very slightly declining since 2005 see at 4:15 . Hmm, manufactured crisis? ???? Can't wait for the induced Trump inflation. ? Our military today is a high-technology force with career professional officers and enlisted personnel. The U.S. military exists to defend the country in war or prepare for war against foreign threats. Trump could quickly hollow out the military as career experts leave. The military does not exist for civilian police functions. It is illegal and unconstitutional for the U.S. military to arrest civilians or enforce immigration laws. The American military is apolitical. No one swears an oath to any political leader but only to our Constitution. Mass deportations of undocumented people living in the United States won't be done with the help of the Army, National Guard, or other military services. The U.S. military does not have to follow illegal or unconstitutional orders. Military officers do not want to engage in civilian police functions or enforce immigration laws. Trump firing military officers would hollow out the military, likely destroying our readiness to fight future wars.

The Biden administration deported more undocumented immigrants in 2 years than Trump deported in 4 years.\n\nThey did it without hate speech, without divisive hate, without lies, propaganda, and ignorant rhetoric. They did it without separating families, without inhumane conditions, and promoting an environment of fear. They did it without breaking any US laws, without breaking international laws, and without violating the Geneva Convention. They did it without violating the rights of asylum seekers.\n\nThey did it without forcing a government shutdown, declaring a fake national emergency, and using it to steal $15 billion from the defense/military budget for a wall Mexico didn’t pay for, to be built when a wall already stood. $15 billion for 54 new miles of fencing? What’s the art of THAT deal? That money, OUR money, the military’s money, could have hired a bunch of new border patrol agents, and implemented a TON of technology, drones, independent monitoring centers, flood lights, high quality cameras….but nope. I worked at the southern border for 10+ years. I once watched someone drive a truck over a border wall with two thick boards on each side, which they just kept there for next time. It took less than 5 minutes. Because walls aren’t magical.\n\nTrump plans to terminate programs like birthright citizenship, DACA, migrant visas, green cards, military service….and he’s planning to deport people who were born here, have citizenship, but their parents weren’t citizens at the time, so he’s deporting them. IT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE. But neither does Trump. Who, BTW married TWO IMMIGRANTS who were undocumented at the time. 4 of his 5 kids were born to an immigrant. Melania’s parents are here through “chain migration.” But, he’s taking that away now, too. JD Vance’s wife is of Indian descent. These are the 2 men who want to kick out immigrants. Undocumented immigrants contributed nearly $100 billion to the economy & social security in 2022 alone. They pay the same sales taxes we do. But they don’t have access to the social programs they’re paying into & they don’t get tax returns. WE KEEP THEM. But sure, let’s kick them all out. Many people came to the US illegally. They got themselves sorted and now they hate immigrants. I'm an American they say. As they should. Though many can't even speak the queen's English properly like flotus-elect but their status is legal. Some of them will get the boot even with their legal status. What most MAGA supporters don't realize is that we're currently living in Trump's economy. The reality is that while he wasn't in office, he used the House as his own personal veto to block any substantial legislature from passing under Biden/Harris, so it makes them look incompetent. The economy bottoms out, countries go to war, the border explodes. I won't say it's all Trump's fault, however. As with the border, just like when Trump wanted to get rid of Obamacare but didn't have anything to replace it, Biden removed Trump's border policies with nothing to replace it. At least Trump didn't get rid of Obamacare without having something to replace it. Just too many mistakes on Democrats part, and too much interference from Trump from the outside. Now Trump will have unchecked power, just one step closer to a dictatorship.

In response to the judging of immigrants. Interesting how we rarely see immigrants on our street corners asking for a handout. Instead they're at work making just barely enough to eventually have their own business in a few years. Latinos are a workforce and stimulate the economy because its a lot of hard work to maintain and sustain this country. Who's gonna do all that hard work when they're deported. Maybe our spoiled and privileged teens? All industries will suffer a void in their workforce causing products and service prices to increase. Billionaires like Corporations, Trump and Musk are the reason you are not doing well, not immigrants. Trumpism is fear, hate, blame and shame politics. Immigration has been a thing since a million years ago, and it will always exist. People migrate. Americans use 1,000 times the resources more than immigrants need. Immigrants don't even qualify to for well-fare assistance. When immigrants are gone and the borders are secured, who will be blamed next for America's problems. Instead of focusing on the greater good and progress for all Americans, Republicans can't help themselves to use their power to address their xenophobia, blame, hate without concern of who and what suffers, families of the working class suffer, and our economy, not billionaires. Mass change and reckless actions based on negative emotions and Ego based intentions of one man, is bad for everyone. Negative energy + negative actions amounts and results to nothing but negative consequences and repercussions. Trumpism is no bueno for America. His approach to fixing immigration will hurt and break America.
