As a Canadian, I care more about who is getting into Canada than who is getting into the US. I want to know from my government how are these people getting into Canada in the first place?? Canada needs to fix how people are getting into our country first. Then this will naturally help keep these folks from using the land border to gain access to the US.

Don't forget Hochul is welcoming, encouraging illegal migrants to come to NY. She is a true leftist and doesn't care what U.S. citizens think or want. Voters get the government and policy they vote for. Just within the past two weeks FEMA spent over $500 million to provide luxury hotels for illegal immigrants yet a few weeks ago they were still claiming that they didn’t have enough money to help American citizens who suffered catastrophic loss during recent hurricanes and wildfires. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. No wonder the Democrats are freaking out the way they are, if the Republicans got caught this bad with their hand in the taxpayer cookie jar, then you know the Democrats would be screaming a different tune. I believe that the relationship between a Country and its citizens is much the same as a parents duty to their child. Governments have a DUTY to care for the safety and well being of their citizens. I would like to see a UN declaration stating that governments must accept their citizens back into their borders. And that the home country must reimburse all those governments and organizations that fed, clothed, transported, sheltered and rendered medical aide to their citizens. NO COUNTRY must be allowed to dump their citizens like trash at the side of the road. These are THEIR CITIZENS..IT IS THE HOME COUNTRY'S DUTY TO TAKE CARE OF THEM up until the time they are LEGALLY granted citizenship elsewhere. This application process can be done while the person is still in residence in their own Country. It is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to take the illegal route. Thousands of people have died in the process. This must be stopped by every Country along their route. We have a humanitarian crisis of global significance here..child trafficking, drug trafficking, violent gangs and organized crime all abuse illegal immigrants. If it was your child....what would you do?

The American people watched as migrants were granted all sorts of free reign to move toward our border including resources paid by those countries governments to keep them moving. The American people will fully support the return of the now illegal migrants back to their home countries and not mind about economic consequences that these news networks they bring up when these illegal migrants have already taxed our system in which we pay taxes. This will only highlight how little those migrants own home countries truly don’t care about them.

If you get deported as an illegal immigrant, you should be able to take your children with you. What about us who came here legally and we paid to get our citizenship and went through so much processing to get here legally while others can just cross the borders illegally and get citizenship somehow. They were not screened if they have criminal records and they didn't go through a health inspection like we did. The law is law and it should always be implemented, no exceptions. I have met someone who was not a U.S. citizen but she gave birth on an airplane above the U.S. territory and her son became an automatic U.S. Citizen. I thought that was weird. The children should maintain the same citizenship as their parents so they will not be separated. Birthright citizenship has divided and dislocated families. This law meant that the U.S. government will take the baby away from the parents because they have no citizenship and put their children in the Foster Care Home Systems? That doesn't even make sense to separate a family, this law is a home wrecker. It needs to be abolished ASAP.

Our government must hold those countries responsible to take care of their citizens.
