As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!

Yes Indians are responsible, India is a very dirty country and immigrants are bringing that to Canada. Recently a beautiful RV park was bought by Indian immigrants and what used to be beautiful is now a ghetto thanks to the new owners. Pooping on our beaches, pooping on people's lawns, this is not Canadian. If you want to be Canadian then clean up your act, leave your culture behind and take on Canadian values and traditions and if you do not like that then just stay out of my country, we do not need the mess India is in here in Canada.

Thanks so much for this video! I admire the hard working and awesome culture of most people I have met who have come to Canada from India! We definitely needed help in filling in the deficit of employees that are needed in Canada! It is a shame that ALL political parties did not solve the housing issue which we knew was going to be a problem, many decades ago, even well before the Harper government! This is not rocket surgery! LOL\nIn Northern Ontario we have a LOT of Indian immigrants. All the ones I have met are very well educated even though they are working in the service industries! I know several Indian Canadians who are Doctors, Teachers and Engineers! Almost all of my experiences have been positive! Of course it is human nature to always highlight issues, for example: I caught one group of people throwing garbage in a parking lot, and immediately notified them that they had dropped something, and even followed them with the garbage. One of the group stated, it was just trash. I told him there was a garbage can right over there, and I just KNEW that they did not want to throw it just lose on the ground, and wanted to help keep our town clean. They said sorry and politely picked it up and placed it in the garbage can. Hopefully lesson learned! I politely and respectfully spoke out, to a good resolution.\nMy parents were immigrants from war-torn Germany. I know ALL about prejudice for new immigrants. Our parents being German-Canadian at a time right after WW2, where MOST Canadians had an Uncle, a Father, a Grandfather or someone they knew who had fought and some died because of Germans! Although I am not a person of colour, so I personally do not know that side of prejudice. We all need to treat each person as an individual and try not to paint all peoples with one brush! I'm a truck driver & when you spoke about manners it reminds me of the numerous times while on the road I will flash my lights to tell another truck driver his trailer is clear so he can come back over into my lane, but 90% of the time the Indian drivers don't flash back to say thank you. Little things go a long way & having good manners is a big deal in Canada.

As an Indian I can tell you for sure that Punjab India is corrupt. They make fake asylums and get fake documents from Punjab. They also make fake Khalistani claims. In fact Canada should be aware that these guys might ask for there own country if they keep growing in BC area. I have to face racism and discrimination now despite being here for 40 years. Thanks Mr. Trudeau; I live in a small NS community that's in truth overrun with East Indian students within the past five years. Our own young people couldn't buy a job here if they wanted one, the East Indians scooped up everything. If you go to any store here it's like we're in India; almost all the employees and shoppers are East Indian, none speaking English which is our language here. Most people here are not comfortable going into our own stores, in our own community anymore. This is not racisim, it's common sense; it's just not a reasonable situation that's been put upon the people here.

We needed your honesty here good sir! I can't go to India and do whatever I want and that should tell you how much Indians disrespect Canada and our country. It is not a small percentage of Indians it is cultural - Indians give off an attitude of I won't be assimilating to your Canadian culture. This was the case before the opened immigration policy but they stayed in line due to the risk of their residency. Today Indians are acting like social justice warriors, protesting and making demands all the while Canadians are suffering. I am so thankful I have Greek and Macedonian citizenship. As soon as I'm done with my education, I'm moving back to Greece or Macedonia, somewhere there are hardly any Indians. I literally get lucky to see 4-5 white, black, or latinos a day in my city, the rest are all Indian, Pakistani, and Arabs. I don't feel like I'm living in Canada anymore, I feel like I'm living in the Middle-East. I only have 2 more years of university and then if I don't go to Greece or Macedonia, it'll be because there's too many Middle-Easterners there too, and I will go someplace like Korea or Vietnam, where there are practically no Middle-Eastern people. Sorry, but you're right about them being rude, and they act like they're entitled to everything. It's disgusting and I've had enough. The problem will only get worse even if we shutdown immigration, because there are so many here already, and they don't have kids, they have litters of 5-10 children per family. Soon the whole country will just be Middle-Eastern, just give it a few decades. If you can get out of Canada and go someplace else, I suggest you do now, before it's too late.

The word temporary should not be confused with permanent. Putting canadians first is the right way to do. Its their country, so they have all the rights to make their own rules. Just go peacefully and be thankful for the opportunities the indians were given.

While I have worked for a company run by Indians and they were great but there are a few Indians who are total Indians who don’t care about their actions! As a truck driver Indians are more and more becoming truck drivers but they don’t respect others! Pooping in urinals using washrooms and leaving them very dirty. Driving erratically just acting like someone else is to clean up behind them! Now Indians working retail and service jobs are great I sooner deal with them than white people! I try to deal with Indians with respect as well as other nationalities saying thank you to people isn’t a bad idea.

It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. Punjabi Indians using Canada as an independent Punjab outside of India and bringing their personal issues here has abused Canada so much. Though this won't help him get re-elected thankfully cause he messed up enough with htis, this is long overdue.

No wonder we have so many low-skilled immigrants in recent years. Thanks to this dumbest policy issued in 2020, we basically opened the door and welcomed visitors to get work permits whenever they want. labor shortage due to covid?\nShould have ended this stupid policy in 2022 when everything was opening up and getting better already. Also, instead of improving the working environment and coming up with solutions for the local Canadian workforce to cope with covid impacts, we just welcomed all random visitors to come to Canada to work. all these indian new comers in the past 3-4 years have used the loopholes of this policy with the help of unethical Indian immigration agents and employers who are only trying to save money to provide them employment letters so they could get work permits \nNo wonder we have so many low skilled Indians that have brought and created issues in Canada. Have we noticed car accident rates increase? The unethical visits to the food bank? I was never racist or taught to see people of other ethnicities or religions as inferior so I don't hate Indians, nor do I show them disrespect unless warranted but the rampant abuse of our systems has messed up so many things. I know of large families of Indians who came as asylum seekers who'd come over separately while claiming different names so when they all come together some families are getting $30k or more per month just for being here. They drive expensive new luxury vehicles and mostly wear expensive designer clothes and are given homes while at the same time us Canadians born and raised here are struggling to even get to eat well every day or have a home to begin with. It's not entirely the fault of Indians, the blame also needs to be shared by our gov't as well since they opened the borders and have mostly waived the process of vetting who comes into our country. It's never a bad thing to have people who genuinely add to the collective greatness of a country but we have let in too many freeloaders and even criminals, the Indian gangs extorting businesses for millions in BC and Alberta for example. Nothing wrong with Indian immigrants as long as we can balance the needs and safety of everyone involved as well. Right now there is no balance and the results are catastrophic. Canada never used to be host to so much divide and hatred as it is now, we can thank Trudeau and his people for that.

Once they get a job driving truck, instead of stopping to use a bathroom, they cut a hole in the floors of the truck cabs so they can take a crap through the hole or urinate w/o stopping b/c time is money! It’s so bad that mechanics will not work on those trucks b/c the undercarriage is covered with human fezes! They are also very ignorant & know nothing about please & thank you or smile to customers! \nThey have also been accused of using beaches; such as Wasaga Beach in Ontario as a toilet!

I am West Indian, descendent of India indentured workers. I love my country of birth, Canada where I have lived since 3, and I have much love and pride in my Indian roots. That being said, I have come to feel embarrassed of being taken for East Indian by other Canadian people. I moved to small city outside of Toronto in 2004. I loved it here! People were so welcoming, kind, friendly. I felt no prejudicial treatment from any of my neighbours. \nFast forward, my little city is now overrun with new Indian immigrants. I can’t tell if I am in the heart of Toronto or Brampton or my city of Oshawa. \nThe Indian people I encounter in the grocery store are pushy, have no Canadian manners, speak their language loudly, come to the stores with their entire family which fills up the isles and cause long lines. All the sale items are sold out by the time you get there because Indians are filling their cart with as much as they can purchase of any of the on sale merchandise. This never happened before. \nI am also saddened by being assaulted when an Indian person passes by and wave of body order sickens me. I don’t understand what the cause of that is. Not bathing regularly or not using deodorant. But I notice this everywhere I come in contact with Indians, men and women, young and old. \nI feel like I will be mistaken for East Indian myself which I have been when I went to the hospital. I was treated like I couldn’t speak English lol\nThe worst is the Muslims, they are the rudest the way they fill every available free space, make women feel uncomfortable and are just intrusive and unable to incorporate themselves with other Canadians. Aparently you get this type of behaviour from all rases out here eavin Canadien i have seen Canadian pooping on the grass some hauking and spitting on the road.i eavin zsked him if he was going yo scoop his poop and he got mad at me.about greeting and thanking a customer i have to say hello and thank you many times to the cashers.in fact the indian girls and ladies are so polite .truth be told most People that hsve a problem are the ones that are afraid of yhe indians because a lot of them are clever and very good business people.

I think if we take the racism card off the table and think about these issues colour blind we might make more progress. Thank you for your proper thinking on this issue. I think the law enforcement should start giving people who are breaking the law more punishment when caught. There is no excuse for some of these very bad things being done. I don't want anyone to be arrested because they are Indian... or from any other background. If someone is pooping on a beach, or breaking the laws, they are criminals and should be punished. I have nothing against anyone who wants to be a positive part of Canada. I like anyone who is respectful and kind. But I do not like criminals, and I think criminals should be punished when caught.

I was going to my place of work and close behind me was a young Indian lady. So, as any Canadian would have done, I held the door because I didn’t want it to slam in her face as she enters. She walked right through the door without even an acknowledgment, not even a “thank you.” It was one of the rudest things a person has ever done to me in years. \n\nNow, when I see an Indian person close by if I am entering any doors, I am conflicted. What’s the point of being kind/courteous if they can’t pay it forward?

Yeah sure, the pooping and crime cannot be made into a stereotype but lack of manners or lets say civility is so much in Indians. We find it difficult to smile, thanks, apologize, welcome. None of these. Its rare to find Indians who are really civil.

I fully agree with you. The International Students, most of them have no manners and are rude. I use public transport. Some don't pay fares, talk loudly in their language either on the phones or in a group. They push to get in or out of the buses. They have taken away jobs from our youth, who are citizens of Canada. They signed on the documents that they would go back to their country after studies, but NO, they want PR. That was their intention in the first place. They are inconsiderate of others. They have no respect for others. It's just them. How can we say they are the future generation of this country, who also cheat the system. There are also some Indians, Muslims who have recently, I would say 10-12 years moved to Canada, do the same as above, including loud music in their cars, noisy cars, litter and spit, also spit red liquid on the grounds, etc., it is annoying. They come here thinking they can do whatever they want to do it's their freedom in a free country. We also see that there are scammers from Call Centres in India who have scammed so many innocent Canadians, including some Seniors.
