Trump is such a bratty child. He’s just going to throw his weight around for his pet issues until we have no leverage left.

I would like to see Trump issue economic incentives for countries like Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, etc. Maybe if the quality of life improved for civilians in these countries they would be happy to stay where they are.

The world needs to stand up to Trump. They should stop all Trade to the USA. Keep their stock and reconstruct a world economic forum. If Trump doesn’t want to negotiate and honour trade agreements that he committed too, no one should commit to doing business. Just look to his history, he is a fraud and a bully. He used MAGA to get to where he is and now they are left with scrambled eggs and Bird Flu. Oh yeah, no public notice required - why inform the public of infectious and safety related health and food issues. Eating USA products is equivalent to Russian Roulette.

You guys gate kept the jobs from Canadians, rejecting our applications and pay us unliveable wage, then cry that you dont have enough workers, only to go get foreign workers to replace us.Then cry about crime rates and the housing market. Canadians want to work!!, we have been working for many winters now!!, but you guys keep preventing us from working because you want cheap labour. cheap labour comes with a lot more economic issues than hiring citizens. These immigrants arrived legally and were granted legal status. In Canada, individuals must live in the country for five years before they can apply for citizenship. So, why should they be deported? I could understand if they had entered illegally and bypassed the proper legal process, but that is not the case here. Contribute more to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza then Saudi Arabia. Worse than useless on this issue highlighting their antipathy towards Palestinians in general. Of course, prices will go up, but that's not the main issue here. Besides, liberals are the last group who should be complaining about rising costs! The real question is who will suffer the most. President Trump has done this before—if you recall, he did it last time, and within 30 days, Mexico secured the border. Since Donald Trump has become the president elect, I have seen so many Hispanic Americans that were once themselves “illegal immigrants” make the statement that they would have no issues with family members and friends who are currently illegal, be deported?! It feels so foolish to keep trying bandaid solutions that harm the US labor pool. There's a couple of things I keep thinking about in regards to this. \n\n1. Most developed countries on earth are in the midst of or are preparing to deal with population crisis and depopulation. Strong immigration to the US stems this issue and is actually a huge advantage to the power and continuing visibility of the USA.\n\n2. Deportation and border control strike at the effect of immigration and leave the cause unharmed. People come to the USA because there's opportunities here, so why not make opportunities abroad?\n\nIf the USA were to remove benefits of dealing with china while offering massive incentives for moving manufacturing away from china directly to Latin America, not only would we be countering our Chinese dependency but we would also provide jobs at home and stem immigration. Not only that, but the businesses would be American and be controlled by Americans - a huge incentive to stay friendly to the USA.\n\nI don't know, just seems like our current policy and especially what Trump is suggesting are counter productive and stuck in a bygone way of thinking.

I think it’s important to note that her choice of words implies a greater issue than just supporting Trump, lack of empathy. The bulk of people that vote for Trump have two mentalities: “if I had to do it, so do you” and “this doesn’t affect me personally so I don’t care”. Are we talking about a mass deportation of people who came into this country illegally? The funding and the resources are the problems. Trump is not going to be able to deport as many as he proposes. If some of them have been here and started an American-born family, then they should get special consideration, but if it's decided they get deported it's really not the fault of the government, it solely rests on the shoulders of those who come in our country and break our laws. If the idea is to become an American Citizen breaking the law is not the first thing to do to swear allegiance. It's confusing. I am a double hater cant stand Trump and I am a farmer, i dont use immigrants because i just grow crops that can be mechanically harvested and I have a small farm, But in the past I used to manage large farms where we had a lot of immigrants most were illegal and people don't understand why they're illegal It's because there is an arbitrary cap on how many migrants can come from Guatemala and Mexico if they wanted to come legally just a normal worker They have a 60-year waiting list so it's just impossible to come here legally. Most of these people are very hardworking good people that come here to work for 5 to 7 years save up money and then go back to Mexico or Guatemala build a house and start a business in their own country. \n\nThis year i begrudgingly voted for trump because for me the biggest issue is with the federal and state regulations that make farming much harder than it needs to be especially regulations on diesel engine emissions that cost me tens of thousands of dollars a year and many months of not being able to use my equipment that I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on. And Kamala was the one who enforced the CARB emmisions standards that diesel engine manufactures have to comply with to sell into California which is the biggest consumer of these engines. \n\nLike right now I have my pickup truck that's been down for 6 months because of emissions problems and so many of the vehicles have emissions problems that the parts to fix it don't even have an ETA because they need to fix so many trucks and I have two other tractors broke down that I can't use all my friends that are farmers have a lot more and dems want to significantly increase emmisions standards in 2026. \n\nYou simply can't grow food at scale without reliable diesel engines There is no alternative The vast majority of food is planted and harvested mechanically in the US The bigger issue with food is not well illegals get deported It is will the diesel engines run to harvest 90% of the calories in plant them. \n\nWe have robots that can milk the cows most of the things that migrants harvest can be harvested mechanically and they are in other parts of the world It's just cheaper to do it with labor once that's not the case it will be mechanized. I would prefer to keep migrants here but give them legal working status if they have productive jobs and they pay tax.

I am a Documented Legal Alien and married to an American citizen. I choose at this time to not apply for my citizenship as i dont want to have to apply to my own country of birth to enter again should i need to visit relatives there. However i have lived happily now for 20 years in the USA and have never looked back. We did our immigration LEGALLY and as much as i dislike D Trump. I do agree that undocumented Aliens who live here and married to an American' should not be here. We have the same issue in the United Kingdom and its far harder to deal with there, and there is an Ocean surrounding it. If you want to live here, learn the language, (English, even though America has no definitive chosen language) become a legal Immigrant and most of all contribute to America, its people etc and stop using it for your own selfish gains.

A hypocrite garbage who does not have a spine that he can not stand on his own just like Lindsye graham, they are both useless. I think people dont realize that those people that are here illigally it would be better for the government to issue work visas so they can track them and collect taxes. I understand that there is a lot of people that take advantage of the system and they should be pay for abusing the system.I did not vote for trump and i would not vote for him even if i was having a nightmare because we know who he is and stands for.

If the goal was to stop the illegals, we would actually punish those that hire them. tRump had to do some reorganization when promoting this Border issue back in 2016.

I do not blame Trump, he is looking out for HIS country, not a business deal here. I say respect him and perhaps reach out for help with some of our issues if willing. Make that our trade.
