Trudeau's words are smoke and mirrors a bit imo. Liberals will go forward with an additional 20% carbon tax dispitie the tariffs occurring. Trump isn't the only one that is harming Canada in one way or another. Trump is forcing Canada to do better with our borders and crisis's that had not been addressed quickly enough. We (Canada) allowed these issues to get out of hand and it took another country to tell us that we needed to do better because the issues affect them as well. To all Canadian's, I did not vote for him and tried to convince others of how bad his was, but here we are. I love Canada. I have been to Canada several times and the people have been so warm and welcoming. It is beyond sad to see this happening. I'm an American and support the actions Canadians are taking to secure the border between Canada and the United States. I did not vote for Trump this time but to my disappointment he won the election and now we have to deal with him his administration and the issues he is causing. Trudeau promised Trump to work on the drug issue, but I guess he did not if we are seeing the significant import tax on Canada now.
