Meditate on this: We have Islamic extremism problems in places where Muslims make up a minority. Yes, those extremists make up a minority within the Muslim community. However, that is a relatively big minority.

Any Muslim who accepts OUR culture is welcome. Any Muslim who believes in equal rights for women, is welcome. Any Muslim who believes in the rights of the LGBTQ community, is welcome. Any Muslim who wants to come to America, must put their allegiance to America over Islam. If you have a problem with those things, don't come.

It was'nt the Muslims who found and built Canada nor created her economy. Their limited capabilities and views do not allow this.They are not capable of building a free society. They sought refuge and a livelihood in Canada free from threats of death, fear of imprisonment, torture, hunger and poverty. Islam is the problem, It does not separate a fascist ideology style of belief from the way it governs its laws. It oppress woman and teaches Muslim men to be violent against all non believers. The problem is that our own western media  agencies  are completely misleading the Canadian public together with  governments and what is  reported in the mainstream news are  manufactured narratives  where us the public that enjoy western life style which was the main reason many of us moved here  are being set up for a massive civil unrest problem in the future .The Islamic issues have been a big problem for over 10 years now in England France Belgium Holland Sweden now Germany it didn't just happen a week ago yet when some one dares to speak about it and tell it the way it is right away gets labeled as extreme right wing or nationalist or skin head  by the same main stream media . The public is being set up systematically to a huge failure it is just a matter of time .

what we need is an enlightment movement with islam where the individual determines whats best for themselves rather than these literal interpretations. In the U.S. at my school many of the 3rd generation muslim kids my age are becoming integrated. Girls wear hats that conceal their hair and long sleeves that fit within their religions dress code instead of the burka and young men are very open to other people ideas such as alchohol use. The problem is when families control their children, as in any case really, and are less than open to change. As a son of an immigrant the most important step with integration is the elimination of your cultural identity, you leave your values in your own country because you are no longer in an enviorment where your opinion matters or is relevant. If muslims could adjust/conform their rules to fit the conscripts of western civilization everything would be dandy. Adapt to fit the society that you move into, dont try to reform society to better suit yourself expecially when your a foriegner.

The problem with Islam and the Islam informer is a big game. In my own opinion: I dont give two shits what people do in their own time, behind their own doors. The problems is when people start shoving this shit down other peoples throats, or contesting federally established law in favour of a religious choice. And Islam is currently the most obnoxious in the world in this regard.

I don't care if you wear hijab but covering face all the time and refusing to take pictures for lisence and passport is not okay. also when the whole world has problem with your religion maybe there must actually be problem you have to fix and not act like you are the victims. we have right to be careful and no its not fair to you but this is what people who follow Islam faith and harm others get you. Islamic people out cry for their right but have to problem taking others away. for example wanting daycares to ban pork just because they can have porn. you should not get special treatment for you religion. I am Hindu/Buddhist and I do not ask people to stop eating beef or many other restrictions that apply to me. the pride of your religion is what's keeping you guys from sensible thinking. and no not all Muslims are the same but the percentage of people that share hatred for other religions is too great too ignore. if you want people to accept you then try becoming a part of the culture and not try to change it for your liking. show love to other faiths and athiests. stop trying to make exceptions for your religion.

You do realize Islam is extremely diverse ,there are so many schools of thoughts and sects . Most of them are peaceful people and all the attention is on a very small amount that are extreme in ideology. Generalizing Muslims into one group is laughable as for Niqab I dont believe it is Islamic , my school of thought doesnt even believe Hijab or headcover is obligatory but that doesnt mean they should be stripped of citizenship and deserve to die ...I think thats extreme too. I think if people in the west can walk outside in a thong and bra or completely naked at gay festivals then whats the problem with wearing too much clothes...honestly I think as human beings you should be free to wear whatever you want.\n.

Stop Islamic immigration and start deporting, there is no other way to stop the problem.

As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.

If Islam was just another religion of another group believing in an invisible friend there probably wouldn't be a problem.  Aside from certain human rights issues, but it is also a political ideology aggressively opposed to democracy.  Therein lies the conflict.

When Farjana Hasan touts freedom for women, she unknowingly discriminates against those who chose to wear hijab willingly. Real freedom of women is to let them decide for themselves whatever they want to wear or not, period. If someone doesn't wear hijab so be it. And if someone wants to wear, so be it. Why must she impose her version of Islam on others? \nThat is the whole problem. Why can't we just accept & respect other's choices even if it differs from my choice???

Understand that I have read the Quran, Sunnah and some Hadith so I know full well that it is permitted to kill in Islam, I understand the contextual issue however you have 1 of 2 problems there\nEither all the violence and instructions to kill non-believers that are very clear in the Quran are for a different age and so the Quran is outdated and obsolete OR it is for all men for all time and so the verses instructing the killing of non-believers is valid hence these murderers are following Islam

The British Empire dissolved in effect more than 100 yrs ago - how are you blaming that for the problems in Islamic countries now? Im sorry what part of the world givers the most aid to under developed country's? The west is superior to any Islamic country, you are blinded by your religion, brain washed from a young age. I totally agree it was wrong to go to Afganistan and Iraq and it was disgusting to see the atrocities committed on innocent people by the soldiers out there and I know that not all muslims are bad, I don't hate muslims simply because they are muslims, I don't want anyone to die either, I wish there could be peace, but it's something in Islam that has to evolve to stop so many using their religion as an excuse to go out and kill because clearly there is a problem there
