As a Canadian this video is only touching the tip of the iceberg. #1 Canada was built by immigrants (like my late grandparents) for immigrants, Immigrants regardless if they are here on a work or study permit are not the problem but the solution, always have been and always will be. Yes the part of the problem can be attributed to an inadequate affordable housing and yes the federal government does deserve blame for that. However as the 2nd largest nation in the world by land mass yet with a population less than California, we have a lot of underdeveloped areas from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and that is also the fault of the federal government regardless of political stripe. Regardless if people come to Canada to work or study, the federal government needs to make it more attractive to them to reside outside the BIG 3 cities of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver which have become overwhelmed with immigrants hence the strain on housing and healthcare

Hi, just want you all to know you are not welcome. Every other culture in Canada does not want you here, even older generation Indians. You will not find a job as companies will hire every other race before indians. A slow white will be hired before the most gifted Indian. I guess that guy asked extra fees, tips for issuing a visa to people, just like what those people always do in third world countries such as India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Africa. Quality of life is horrible- work - home - watching Netflix unless you go out to eat mediocre food and be forced to pay minimum 15 % tip on already high bill. People in home country can afford to buy apartments, enjoy quality of life. Regret coming to this country.

As a Canadian, born and raised, I am much more proud to be a Canadian than if I were to be a U.S. or U.K. citizen, given the way they are regarded in most of the word. Companies should be paying their staff a better wage where 20%+ tips are not expected for every restaurant, cafe or delivery service. We're helping corporations make more profit by subsidizing their staffing expense. This isn't the case in most of the world. \n\nMy eyes were opened when I saw how you can live an equally good life at a third or less of the cost and I have grown open to the idea of living elsewhere once I have enough money to retire early (I'm talking around 55) and enjoy life without feeling cash-strapped. It's much better here in Australia. I live in a little country town 500km from Melbourne, great hospital, free medical care, bought 3 nice houses here from selling an apartment in Melbourne - and unlike Canada or the US, we dont need to pay any tips or any of those pesky extra taxes you always add onto everything !

I live in Japan and don't regret selling my house last year in BC with the intention of not permanently living in Canada again. The healthcare system is much better here. Food is delicious and cheap...and no tipping. Houses are 1/4 of the price, with good houses for as little as....free...if you don't mind fixing them up a bit. It is safe and a short trip by public transportaion gets you either downtown or in the middle of nature. What happened to my country? Oh.....Canada.
