I am a college student in the southeastern us in a small town. We have many many many nepalis coming and using it as a springboard to emigrate (usually illegally) across the us. They do not speak our language, integrate, work, or understand our customs. Not integration, no immigration.

As an American who worked in HR for eight years at BMO in Canada, I’ve noticed an important trend: many local professionals often attribute their career struggles to the system, when the real issue is a lack of updated skills. In my previous office of 71 employees, around 60% were Indian and Chinese professionals — many of them exceptionally skilled and hardworking. The fact is, immigrants don’t take jobs; they earn them through their capabilities. I currently work at BlackRock, managing a team of 221 people. Individuals with strong mathematical and analytical abilities often come from Indian or Chinese backgrounds, while only about 20% of our workforce is American. I conduct 4–5 interviews daily, and the pattern remains consistent — candidates from Europe, the U.S., and Canada frequently lag behind in technical skills. It’s a tough truth, but one worth acknowledging: in today’s competitive job market, skill development matters far more than nationality.

The truck drivers. Just handing out az licences. The Tim hortons debacle. I think it’s a beautiful culture historically. I have made many East Indian and other immigrant friends in my 53 years. It’s some of the new immigrants policies that are causing issues. At the end of the day I welcome all who come here legally and with good intentions.

I moved to this country with a study permit. Now I'm an Architect serving the country, proudly… It is terrible that some students come to this country and abuse the system! They have damaged the reputation of the immigrants!

The problem is not immigration, it is about why government giving visa when there is a job crisis for those who are already there? It is a cheating with the people who are paying huge money as a students and getting no exposure of jobs, it is not because of education that students are coming it is because of exposure of an International companies which they are hoping to get, students are adding money to the economy how can you blame the students who are coming legally??

Some indians are here as refugees. They said , they're persecuted in india for bieng " Christians" . They are not Christians, they lied to immigration to come to Canada. Once in Canada they do all kinds of fraud to get work permit. They have a Bible written in their language but they're not Christians.

I read the comments first before watching the video, and the negativity was strong. So I watched the video expecting to hear the Indians sounding terrible and entitled, and instead it's obvious they're just like every other group of immigrants who ever came before them, including those from Europe. The guy at 9:35 got lots of negative comments, but it's clear that he's the typical inspirational immigrant story, coming here, studying and working hard, and eventually achieving his degree, which brings him a better life in a prosperous country, the exact same thing Europeans came to Ellis Island for 100 years ago. And they also created Irish, Italian, Greek, etc. enclaves withing major cities. Also they say Brampton only had 18,000 people 50 years ago, and are upset that now it has 750,000, and all the growth has been from Indians. So then what's the problem? They didn't even displace anyone, they just moved to an area that was previously a small town on the outskirts of Toronto, and is now a major suburb. That growth of suburbs has happened over the last 50 years in every city in North America, from both domestic and immigrant people choosing to settle there. Did you expect a town that close to Toronto to experience zero growth over 50 years?!! While every other suburban area on the continent grows? If so, then you clearly aren't the brightest bulb.

My grandparents immigrated here from Jamaica and certain groups have made the word immigration annoying and obnoxious now. It’s not even immigration at this point it’s just a full take over and a blatant disrespect for our country. Don’t follow the rules, aren’t compliant , protesting that Canadians don’t respect them and that they should stay there even if the visa is up, demanding money, buying all businesses and blatantly not hiring Canadians because they aren’t of a certain race. It’s extremely disrespectful and we need to start sticking up for the people of this country and have tighter rules and regulations to get in. Disappointed in our country…we’ve failed. What happened to the old school immigrants that would come in work hard build wealth and have pride in moving to Canada. It’s really the younger generation of immigrants that are entitled and stupid. And this is coming from a young person. Some of the immigrants (if you know you know) aren’t even that good at their job, they careless do it half ass and expect tips and that certain details will go unnoticed because they didn’t earn the job they just showed up and were handed the job.

As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

File immigration warrants and have CBSA actually execute the warrants when police come across them... You have the tools... Use them

The real problem is not just people, it’s the Canadian immigration system and the loopholes IRCC has left wide open. In Punjab and other parts of India, wealthy families are arranging marriages where a girl with IELTS comes to Canada, then calls her husband here. Many of these are nothing more than contract marriages, where once the boy arrives, they go their separate ways. This is blatant abuse of the system and has created a wave of people entering Canada without even basic English skills. IRCC needs to wake up and fix this. Students on study or work visas must not be allowed to bring their spouses. If someone wants to come, let them take an English test themselves and prove they’re qualified. Study permits should only be issued for genuine university students, not random private colleges being used as back doors into the country. On top of that, no work permits should be given while on a study visa. Employers who hire students illegally on cash as cheap labour should face strict penalties, heavy fines, and blacklisting. Until these loopholes are closed, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited and lose credibility. IRCC, this is not immigration — this is fraud facilitated by weak laws.

Aspects like religion, race, language are big factors that shape a culture. No country wants mass immigration but you can not blame Indians for this mess. Though Brampton might be an exception (Sikh and Pakistani illegals coming as hardcore radicals) Most Indians (non-Sikh) come legally, are law abiding, pay taxes and work hard just like immigrant forefathers of the whiteys. If the current whiteys have issues, they should elect good politicians but stop being r@cist towards Indians just due to skin color

Why is that all hate against Indians in Canada? Am not Indian origin , but what is wrong for Indian making majority in Brampton. Am black African living in Toronto , who love this country for giving me the chance to build my life and always I bless Canada and Canadians.saying all this , Do we not have a pocket in a city / town dominated by people whose origin traces all the way from Italy/ Portuguese/ Lebanon / Ukraine etc . So for me , yes you can talk about controlled immigration without dehumanizing Indian migrants. Am a proud Christian , and receiving an immigrants is a blessing, even my lord and king Jesus Christ was refugee in Egypt. The west welcoming immigrants coming from Christian heritage, that is why indeed western countries are very blessed. Am not saying, open border policy is acceptable . I moved here from South America almost 30 years ago and worked to learn the culture and values. When in arrived in Vancouver I was shocked to see so many Chinese people.. it was not my idea of Canada. Then I moved to Toronto and was shocked to see so many Indians. As an immigrant myself I'm against these immigrants that come here and don't learn the culture and have no appreciation for the Canadian way of life. This is 100% a failure of government policy . Trudeau made the situation so much worse.

Having Justin Trudeau occupy the Top Job in Canada as PM was a mistake. Making him PM given his limited intellectual abilities didn't do Canada any favors really. His woke ideals simply aren't based in the realities in thinking that we'll all just get along. The past immigration policies filtered out those that weren't acceptable or weren't bringing anything worthwhile to Canada. What Trudeau did was allow third world countries to unload their undesirable citizens into Canada, ppl that have no idea of what it means to come to a new land and integrate and be a part of something good. Trudeau did not think this through at all.

To be honest the problem with Canada is that they are not having strict immigration checks like the USA which has in turn resulted in non-qualified people coming from India to name sake colleges over there . A lot of people just used to drive trucks or do odd jobs over here in India . I really think Canada's welcoming nature has been misused in the wrong way.

As much as people don’t like their hometowns changing like that, it’s unfair to say the immigrants come by jumping borders and by applying asylum. That must be less than 1% of the total immigrant population. Please don’t make this channel a tool for hatred and division.

I was not raised to be racist but at 67 and my family has been in Canada since 1536 , I can now say that I am racist. I do not agree with melding pot beliefs. the people being brought in to my country are NOT TRYING TO MERGE OR ADAPT “OUR” way of life. Better Rules for coming to this Country need to be implemented. like No banking outside of our banking system. no owning property until they have been in Canada for 15 years and have proven that they Support Canada not the country they Left and didn’t bother to try and work on. Dictator or Religious fighting needs to be addressed by THE PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY. Maybe take some Taxes from the 1% and have them give support to the starving countries instead of the struggling people having to struggle more because of slack immigration laws. ENOUGH ALREADY. Two generations ago (50-60 years ago) the Indians who came to Canada, with no family in Canada had excellent qualifications. They had to come with jobs waiting for them in universities, engineering firms, architectural firms and hospitals. The students were Masters or Ph.D. with full scholarship. They went on to build the country but they were minorities fighting the occasional racism on the street (as the woman in the green t- shirt says). Today, as a result of Trudeau's naïveté about the level of corruption in India, there's a huge influx of relatively unqualified Indians arriving and not being able to assimilate into Canadian society because they do not have good job qualifications. They end up living in ghettos and turn to crime. We must fix that by being much more selective of Indian immigrants. As someone of the Indian diaspora, I'd also like to say that there are those Indo Canadians ("brown folks") who want nothing to do with the Brampton or Surrey ghettos. Many of us are completely secular, having no religion and share nothing with these people fighting around temples and yelling at each other in Punjabi or Hindi. We speak English and French and vote in the elections.

This is a Big Problem. But the problem was created by short sighted Canadian propaganda. They duped millions of vulnerable young people with false promises! People in Punjab were told by visiting, white Canadian politicians like Trudeau (who literally dressed up and danced all around India) that they are welcome in Canada and should sell whatever little they had in India and come here. They were poor and gullible and fell for it, and here we are! Canadian Government is FAR FAR stronger than any to-be immigrant group. Indian government pleaded with Canada to watch what kind of characters they were importing (google it)! And guess what Canada still voted for the Liberals! So who should shoulder the bulk of the blame?

It don't matter how you say it... It's plain and simple. Canada let to many criminals and organized crime members into Canada. This is a small part of how they get into countries and take over countries. Wake up and pay attention to the last 10 years history of England, France, Germany etc concerning immigrants coming in and how it changed their Whole Countries.. I was made aware there are a significant number of Indian students who are applying for students visas, coming to Canada and then withdrawing from the university and flooding the workforce making it difficult for other immigrants from poorer countries to find work. .

Ive been trying to accept immigration as a good thing for over 40 years and what ive learned is it only benefits the people who come here under false pretenses because there is zero checks from Canada immigration, its all taken by these peoples word! Completely insane ! Only word that should be taken are those of truly born sovereign Canadians whose families have built this country! So I reside in Ontario, I live in a city they call the armpit of Ontario. And everytime I come to this restaurant (I dont want to say what restaurant but if u ask id tell you) - I would see a lot of them coming in by groups and they wear clothes like they still live back to whatever country they are from and would sit on their chairs cross legged as other people eat their food. Every hour theres dozens of them coming and I came to think are these people even legally here. It is just crazy to me as a legal immigrant where me and my family waited for 8 years for the application process, spent hundreds of thousands of money meanwhile I see people that arent from here and not even try to assimilate to Canadian culture. It is just infuriating.

An example. In the small village of about 60k people where I live, we struggle to keep a descent Chinese restaurant or two. Indians are attempting to put a restaurant, shop or grocery store in every shopping center in town. Not to mention eyeing every house that goes on the market in my neighborhood. Then there's the immigration abuse and fraud that comes along with the particular culture.

When did Canada become so unwelcoming? They are students that want a better life. Let them stay, this isn't who we are as Canadians. We all are immigrants legal or illegal. Come on guys shame...

There are those that are taking advantage while there are many that are productive and positive members of the community. I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such. There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths. Was it the Canadian govt fully at fault for the deaths? Not quite… these students are often met with predatory individuals who take advantage of their vulnerable situations: such as predatory landlords who have sometimes 15 or more students renting one house, or unjust working conditions because the employer knows that the immigrants citizenship hopes are tied to the job, etc etc. Ultimately, it’s the Canadian government turning a blind eye to these realities and trying to make the deaths appear due to things other than unalive attempts. This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way the Canadian government has been pushing dystopian legislation around their medically assisted dying program (MAiD). Canada’s medically assisted dying program has the least guardrails of any program of that type in other countries. Not just this, but the legislation for MAiD comes at a time when Canada’s healthcare and mental healthcare systems are collapsing. Trudeau said he would address this with one his re-election promises in 2021: he promised 5 billion for mental health programs. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis. Perhaps one day someone will be able to trace how the 5 Billion promised was send off in provincial transfers that did not benefit any programs and likely only helped pay for all the upper management, because Canada’s healthcare, education and mental health care systems are absurdly top-heavy. Canada becomes moral dystopian by the day, with regular folks (working class, blue collar, low-income) bearing the burden. Everyday more people join the rank of the oppressed regular people while a few who work in the government or favored industries are overpaid and the stats around all of this corruption are further obfuscated and buried. And as all this occurs, you see bureaucrats like the on in this video smug in their knowledge that most Canadians will never learn how dark the truth is.

All of these fake colleges that Canada is letting Indians and other immigrants in are absolutely ridiculous. A ridiculous amount of uneducated immigrants from a several countries are coming in as fake students and fake asylum claims and Canadians have to suffer as a consequence. These people also take loans and cash out on credit, take cash and run back to their country. The rest of Canadians are left holding the bill. F this libtard government we live in.

I am an Indian student who has struggled to get my papers done, and I have to say this: mass immigration needs to stop. Canada should allow only people who speak good English and who can truly contribute to this country. I am an IT student, and I worked hard to clear $120K in debt through Scotiabank. I could have taken a loan in my home country, but I chose to work here because Canada gave me everything my own country could not. I am deeply grateful for that. But when I see people from my own community walking around in flip-flops, unable to speak even one word of English, it breaks me inside. My city—Brampton—has been completely taken over, and it’s becoming harder to even drive there now. I believe Canada needs to come together and put an end to this. Enough is enough. Immigration should be about quality, not quantity.

It’s the immigration fault why they allowed too much student permits allowed to come here. No job for young Canadian. My son looking for 3 years for part time jobs while studying but no jobs for him coz company hires international students and mostly from that country.😢

All this tough talk and posturing but no actions on the ground. I love that she is trying to get answers and holding people accountable but in reality nothings changing. Students and immigrants keep coming in. They just don’t give a f$@* about Canadian laws because no one has seen any consequences!

I wonder why some people cry about being a minority and wondering why there are so many immigrants. 1. Immigrants are here to pay for your old age benefits. 2. The whites are a minority because of a non-existent family value. 90% come from divorced parents or parents who never married. They also are barely interested in taking the responsibility of having children. A generation that turned away from God and wonder why they are getting extinct! It is also pathetic to see a lot of new immigrants not wanting to keep the city clean and carry on some of the good practices of the people who lived here before.

Study permit itself is a FRAUD, no Indians are coming to study, they are using it as a means to immigrate to Canada!

Is Stopping them from coming in, not the easiest answer? Give back the part time jobs to Canadian teens so they can afford to go to school and send home the 8 million immigrants that came into the country during the time of Trudeau and Carney. This will lower cost of housing, right now it takes 5 people on minimum wage to afford a 1 bedroom apartment and we wonder why we have so many people living on the streets. This will open jobs lower prices on food and allow the future generation to afford a a home.

Employers should be aware of SINs before hiring people. I am also an immigrant, but my dad worked hard as a skilled worker to bring us here to Canada. I pay my duly taxes monthly and yearly. So I find it unfair when people work under the table. However, I've noticed that some students, who never attend their classes, end up in high positions with well-paying jobs at big companies. Meanwhile, I can't count how many refugees and immigrants are in low-income brackets, receiving 100% coverage for their medication and a monthly allowance from the government. In contrast, Canadian senior citizens still have to pay 20-30% of their medication costs and don't get the same privileges when it comes to their essentials. It frustrates me that the government makes our senior citizens suffer at retirement age, even after they've worked so hard for so many years. Yet they still struggle to pay for their own medication and necessities. I've encountered many rude refugees and people on income support from other countries who feel entitled to special treatment just because they are under government programs. Ironically, some of them come wearing luxury clothes and bags—like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. As I said, I am an immigrant too, but my heart goes out to those who have fully earned the support and benefits they deserve.

Well, I'm gonna give you Canada Immigration an advice on how to catch these people and all those in other countries who has the same situation. These people are doing jobs like delivery like Uber, Skip, Doordash, etc., BUT...they are not using their legal name to apply for that instead they are using another person's account to do that job, whose account is legal and had been in the job for so many years. The connection between those people is not relevant to any gang or organizations but they operate like one, the advantage is both parties earn money while in their eyes is "legal". This is normal settings in my country(3rd world country), you have several taxis and you need to hire drivers to operate, its up to you if you're gonna hire legit drivers or not, the only difference is that the undocumented driver is cheaper. And how do I know these things, I work in a fastfood chain in Waterloo, you need to identify which order the driver will pickup and the delivery driver need to verify the order by the order number through the app but sometimes you can see the Account's photo is different from the delivery driver, so yeah, that's the gist of it. I have no idea why modern countries like Canada and America are so "dumb" or lack of critical thinking when it comes to crimes like this, but I guess people and politicians are the same all over the world. And now, they are bringing more people without checking their background, if there's any criminal record or such, oh yeah, speaking of that, how do you verify those records from another country if those records can be produced with 3rd party company in which an employee from a government institution is behind it to make it more look like it is legit.

Indian's look at Canada as a very easy to fooled country when it comes in immigration policy, all Indian's work together the one in India and the one who lives in Canada, opening a fraud school to sell course acceptance letter to be approved of student visa. They come not to study but to work and then later on apply for PR. Why do you think Indians are over populated in Canada? they flood the food bank and employment that is no longer available for the Canadian born youth. They are everywhere because they are preferable by greedy employer for cheap labour, the reason this people flood the food bank, theyre wages is not liveable in Canada. Canada becomes a joke since Trudeau took over the government, open border for fraudster to come in. Immigration policy will never be fix until the Liberal is kick out from power.
