My family came to this country 35 years. My parents were educated, they brought over money and skill, we went through background checks to confirm we were not criminals. We paid taxes and we contributed to the society. Now everything is different. The problem is not immigrants. The immigrants who come here properly are fine. They do not burden the society. The problems are illegals and refugees. They drain the society and create crimes. That’s what you gotta stop.

But GOD..... CANADA needs divine help!! It is coming!! "When nations forget God, they will be turned into HELL!! these illegals are PAID!

My neighbourhood is primarily made of immigrants. I see a lot of elderly people brought to Canada by their adult kids. I see a huge number of single swarthy complexioned looking single males. Males who sit in malls, stand at streetcorners, wander and sleep in our parks. I no longer feel safe walking my dog. I am told to take my fnnn dog off the road. It's their road. Like he!!. My family came here as immigrants, paid their own way, bought real estate and never ever asked anyone for help. We even had to pay for our own healthcare before the NDP eventually intoduced national healthcare. And don't kid yourself, the refugee you find to get freebees off the Canadian taxpayers are not always poor. They keep their investments in Swiss, German, UK and US banks. Canadians are way too laid back and let this happen.

The government has turned us against each other imagine a country where the Prime Minister and the minister of finance quit. They got paid and left the country in shambles. Then they put this proxy. Prime Minister in place had an election and somehow he was still the Prime Minister so much for voting.

As you can tell from my name I am an immigrant from India. Been in this part of the world for almost 40 years. Educated from kindergarten with English as medium of instruction, a post graduate degree, in IT - one of the first things I did was watch, listen and learn how things are done here. Quickly acquired accent neutrality. Please and thank you . Not litter every where. I came here on my own. Nobody requested me to come here. I considered it a privilege and I took it as my obligation to integrate, not import my values or culture here. I worked, paid my taxes and never expected a handout from anybody or from the government. I loved to be the brown dot in a sea of white. I loved my new country. After the pandemic years, things have changed. There has been a sudden browning of Canada. I didn't leave India 40 odd years ago for India to come to me. NO, I am not being racist and it is not just the visual browning either. The loud, non English speaking, profusely littering, rude, entitlement-minded, anti-social, riffraff that seem to have found their way here displacing the native, white Canadians. I so miss the "eh". I miss the polite society. Wherever I go, I see a sea of immigrants speaking their own tongue. Rude, misbehaved. Cutting you off in line. Discarding the shopping cart any where they please. I am getting older every year and I do not want to die in a country that is suddenly so foreign to me. I would love my old Canada back, please. I want my "eh"s back please. I did my part in the last elections, but lost out to "them". Are we at a point, where we can never get the old Canada back??????

No illegal, no refugee and no new immigrant should get one dime more than the lowest paid Canadian.

Instead of paying Canadians billions of dollars from our own tax dollars to have children, they paid immigrants billions of dollars out of our tax dollars to come here, live for free, and replace us.

In the UK in 1860 7 year old boys (and girls) worked 12 hour shifts in mines and factories, most died before they had children themselves. A hundred years later in 1960 the school leaving age was 15 and life expectancy had reached 70 plus and people worked a 40 hour week with paid holidays and a pension to come in your later years. The first time in thousands of years that the average person could have a decent life and live more than an average of thirty years. We now just take that for granted and the third world instead of working to improve their own countries want to come here and live off the system we have created. Our polticians have guilt tripped us into having compassion for these people and now the shear weight of numbers is dragging us backwards and reversing 150 years gains, we are now at the point that if drastic is not taken we will be back to pre Victorian times within 10 years.

Who cares about replacing the work force? Why do we need to have babies so that bankers and corporations can still get paid? This obsession with GDP and having workers renders Canada an economic zone, instead of a nation.

It's not about race or culture. It's just too much is too much. Too much for our health care system. Too much for our economy to handle. Too many jobs are now scarce. Too much is bad for the people who have paid their taxes here forever, just so one particular immigrant group can use up resources that long time generations have built. I'm not saying any particular culture, but there are too many of them. This particular culture should also be reduced because they are exploiting every mistake the government makes (from their good hearts) or loopholes to stay. Not just stay but trying to transform a country into their own. That is wrong. Most immigrants from past generations didn't come here to conquer the country. They came here to be part of a great country. Contribute to it. Make it better, not make it worse. And now here we are. How are we going to fix this? Put a very long pause on immigeation. Get rid of international students from this particular country. They have no right to stay. Stop giving licenses to unqualified people that can't read, write, speak or even understand English. It's becoming a safety issue everywhere. Again, it's not about race. It's the "too many" factor that the country can not sustain.

My friend had a crazy incident a year ago. When due to very strict rules, he lost his pgwp and became visitor status. He had to use hospital services and he called them and asked them why the bill was so high. He was given remarks on the phone by a lady that “Oh we citizens pay taxes and thats how healthcare is usually free”. I mean he was here from last 6 years and was called that like he did not pay taxes. Idk why being rude to person without knowing what thier status was before. I think people are really fed up with anyone who says they are either visior, on pgwp or TFW in general. And he subsidized it so said workers only had to be paid 75% of minimum wage by the company hiring them while the gvmnt paid the rest. Good, there are too many from India and China here. Recently, I have seen some Chinese leaving from my own neighbour. This is a good thing, they come over here, don't speak English, don't work and use our resources that we have paid for all of our working lives. Our local college which used to pay for English lessons for Newcomers to Canada has now cancelled the program.

I am supportive of immigration, but I believe there should be a cap of no more than 1-2.5% annually. Nonetheless, I also support temporary residency for up to 6-9 months for those who have been evacuated due to war, natural disasters, or similar circumstances. Special exceptions can be granted for families with members working in critical fields that merit such considerations (high-end industry).

All these years US has a trade deficit of 1 trillion dollars every year. With tariffs we could have recovered 250 billion every year. That is a lot of money. Currently every American owes $110,000 because of the accumulated debt of 36.5 trillion.\n\nJustin, how long are we supposed to bend back wards while US has a trade deficit of trillion dollar over the past 20 years.
