It's time to get LEGAL AND PAY TAXES ALSO OR LEAVE. They are GIVING billions of taxpayers dollars to illegals who come here and strain our systems while AMERICANS ARE LOSING OUT. We need our manufacturing back in our own countries. And our own farmers can handle our food. Our farmers are under fire. They need our support. And we have always had WORK VISAS for seasonal workers for AG. That doesn't mean they can come here illegally and DRAIN OUR RESOURCES . This isn't even remotely logical. You cannot have a successful economy or a secure safe country WITHOUT LAWS to govern immigration.

Anyone has an accurate estimate of how many illegal workers work in American farm? How many with work visa? And how many you really need?

Undocumented workers paid 96 billion dollars into Social Security and Medicare through the INT. They are not eligible to collect from those programs but there work help sustains them. They do work Americans do not want to do. Hotels hire them, farmers hire them, meat packing plants hire them, construction companies hire them. Removing them will be a disaster. Banks says the American people have spoken for it, I didn't. Only 51 percent of uneducated voters for Trump wanted it. We Democrats understand they are needed here. Republicans in the red state on Welfare won't go to work and do the jobs immigrants do. What will happen is Trump will cut the taxes for the rich, raise our taxes and do away with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other needed social programs like CHIP, Meals on Wheels, School lunch programs etc... America will suffer and end up losing our allies and pulled out of the NATO agreement, which Russia wants us to do. Trump is friends with our enemies. He is a traitor to America and proved it when he stole top secret documents and refused to return them and showed them to people who had no clearance to do so. Dumb Americans voted him in after every warning from generals and all his staff to his own VP said he is not fit to sit in the oval office. Now all of America and our Allies will pay the price.

This woman is right. We need people who are willing to sacrifice their time and their old citizenship to become Americans. She sacrificed a great deal to become a true American citizen. I do not want to be a citizen of another country although I have spent time as a guest worker LEGALLYin other countries. I was not allowed to take jobs in those countries (Japan and Germany) that native workers had the right to take. I was not given benefits or a right to vote. I had a passport which I was required to carry at all times because as a foreign worker I could be stopped and questioned about my legal status. My passport showed my working status in country with the appropriate stamp. I accepted these restrictions as part of my working conditions. I wanted to keep my own citizenship as an American although I could have worked to obtain the fluency level required and the citizenship understanding of law and legal procedures to become a citizen. It would have taken time and waiting for an application to clear. That is what it would have required but I wanted to be an American. I did not renounce my citizenship lightly…nor should anyone without work and thoughtful consideration of what it is to BE a member of that country.

This is idiotic, Undocumented Immigrants paid $96 million in taxes in 2022. 50% of our agriculture workers are undocumented immigrants. Who is going to replace that workforce? Something needs to be done but this is not it. They have no plan to collect and hold the immigrants. Local Police and Sheriff departments are not equipped to nor allowed to (in some states)go chase illegals. Similar bills have been attempted before as an effort to have Police arrest illegals but it was messy and got put on hold for several reasons. No discussion of potential civil rights violations or the question of it being unconstitutional also opens the door for racial profiling. Any person of color would targeted. Most of the immigrants are not from Mexico why would any country accept them? This is the dumbest plan for immigration ever and it won't work.

I am Mexican American the lie that Americans wont work certain jobs is just that a lie. No we wont work certain jobs that are being given away to illegals for peanuts. We Mexican Americans have to pay taxes and we don't have cars given to us or loans we don't have to pay back, nor do we live in free housing. You do know, that while Canada already been giving the Skilled Workers the preferential treatment fir decades, many of the Doctors, Engineers, Nurses, etc are unable to get a job of their training, bc they must write expensive, long exams! \n\nIf they had been out of the University for years, this is not easy to do! They need to support their families, study again and save Thousands of $$$ to pay for and write these exams! Canada makes it difficult for them to work in their field! \n\nThey receive many promises from the Canadian Immigration Department, which often does not deliver! A valid example, those with the Master’s Degrees, too often, receive only the Bachelor Degree equivalency in Canada, despite the promise of their degrees and experience in the field to be honoured! How many part-time jobs do they expect these people to work to pay for rent? Finding a full-time job is almost impossible. Coming to Canada exspecting the country to look after them? The companies take hours away from their employees and create another part-time position, then gets a bonus from the government as part of the new employee wages are paid. Same hours for the company but paying less wages and keeping the profits. Who is does this benefit? Not the workers that then need another part-time job to feed their kids. Filling up schools with people who do not met the education requirements with bogus paperwork. Who are then forced to attend a strip mall schools. Are their diplomas even valid? No proper place to live and using foodbanks. Anyone with this paperwork should be refused at airport not supported. Most are coming from counties that have schools. Because really would you want them managing your money, running the country or are they going to work at Tim Hortons? No wait their fellow countrymen will then use them in scams. WHAT WORKERS? Canada doesn't need millions of Tim Hortons and Skip the Dishes workers, we need WELDERS, CONSTRUCTION, and SKILLED HEALTHCARE WORKERS! In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

I think, that in canada during the hight of the pandemic with restaurants closed and fast food chains struggling we were flooded with temp foreign workers and now thats its over most of the workers are no longer needed so over the boarder to the U.S they go,

the damage that's been done would require us to either kick out 500k immigrants or close our doors to all immigration (except for those 18 and under in the most dire of situations) for the next 25 to 30 years. We should only be immigrating in those that actually need what we have to offer. The uneducated the jobless those with no homes or families or finances not those that already have plenty of cash and opportunity. id rather bring in 50k orphans and pay for that then have 400k new delivery drivers and foreign workers.

Real international students brings resources to Canada. Government needs to look into students that actually come not for study but to work (making money back home). Besides, why entrepreneurs and start up programs that will benefits our society gets so hard to proceed (taking over years to complete)? Why nanny home support worker can come to Canada as permanent resident so fast and easy? The people of Canada need to be aware of these strange policies that were made. The policy makers do not use their brains measuring the actual needs of Canada. They make no efforts to look into how their policies will affect the lives of the people, the system of Canada including medical systems, our infrastructure or housing. They do not care if our society can have enough to support these low skilled workers and families, and also the new refugees and families. Can our economy support all these new families? Nowadays the economy of the world is so challenging, but would these policies makers care about this? They are not stupid then there must be some reasons behind. How can the normal citizens protect their rights? BUT wait…, all these new families are growing, these new comers will protect their rights too….

I am a skilled worker who moved to Germany in June 2023, earning around €70,000 annually in a high-skilled job. I hold an EU Blue Card as my residence title. Despite the EU guidelines designed to simplify family reunification for Blue Card holders, my wife is still stuck in our home country 14 months later. This bureaucratic delay has caused immense stress for my family, and I am fed up with the situation. Germany needs skilled labor, but it lacks the necessary support systems. Therefore, I am considering relocating to another country that offers better support for skilled workers and their families.

We need these workers to bring references with them. So we can see if they have worked ever !

My parents came to Canada around 1990, and I was born here in Canada. I support immigration but not at the cost to both Canadians and immigrants. Letting in immigrants without a cap is reckless and lead to consequences we face today. Now I believe we need to reduce the number of immigrants, temporary foreign workers and international students until our infrastructure can support Canadians and newcomers.

Germany needed foreign talent for a veery long time but it is unwelcoming. At the end they are loosing against the competition. What a shame! They were way ahead. Also Germany is loosing its own talent to other countries due to better opportunities. All ads up to Germany lagging behind. One result is VW closing its factories and German workers are crying.
