No 1 has seen the details on this video. 1st Fair play to this hardworking guy who stayed calm. 2nd that his own fault that didn't have any change with him, he should have the docket for the customer why he didn't see mani thing, has customer paid or not or what way they paying. The guy was really in shock and pressure to pick up the food as the customer is constantly abusing him. Its tough to keep your cool sometimes. The poor guy didn't know what to do with 20$ as he didn't have change so was returning the cash back, but the customer took the toll on him knowing he doesn't have much experience how such situations are dealt- The delivery guy had to take the food back, return with exact cash to deliver again instead of asking the customer to manage the cash.

I lived on the streets of Toronto for over 3 years between 1997 & 2001. I'd always been a bisexual 'loose, wild and crazy girl' as they say, and for me it was a natural progression. When I was 20 my family immigrated here from South Africa but I was way too immature so Quebec City and I didn't get along. I and a girlfriend hitchhiked out to run wild in Toronto. The fun only lasted the summer and then I spent 3 years living on the streets there. Doing 'the job' just to get by becomes a chore for sure. I spent one winter in a tent city near the lake but too many people made it a violent place. My last winter out there I spent in the Don Valley with a small group, moving our encampment every few days. I would likely have ended up dying out there but a guy I scarcely knew at the time drove all the way to T.O. and spent a week looking for me and just by luck found me when I was at my lowest and willing to go home.

As an Indian whenever I don't have change and the delivery guy didn't have either, I just give the rest of the money to him just thinking about how hard he/she works and their struggle. Never have I ever ask for a change even if he have it.

Australia is suffering the exact same problems no housing, price of everything rising, immigrants complaining. Government wanted to increase it's tax base straight away and didn't have the patience to actually plan around the highest immigration numbers in history. And make no mistake that wasn't an accident. I'm not against immigration but 1 million people in 3 years is a little bit extreme. I can't even imagine how bad it is in Canada, feel for you guys, apart from New Zealand I see Canadians as our other brothers from across the pond.

I came in Windsor Ontario as a foreign worker in 2009, wasn't the best time to look for a job there but still. I did 1 year of studying, worked again, left for Alberta in 2012 where I still am. Got my PR in 2014 and citizenship in 2022. Most of the things I hear against living in Canada must be true, I don't doubt it but I'm just not aware of them. I didn't even know there was a bank account freezing during COVID. It wasn't easy to get a good job, I had to leave for a small community in Alberta to get the most of what I wanted and that's why I am oblivious to the harsher reality that people have to endure in Toronto or Vancouver. But the thing is, as soon as I landed in Toronto and got robbed 50$ by some guy (this is just an anecdote not the real reason), I knew I shouldn't try to make a living there. I know job opportunities are in those big cities but please, if you can, there are great communities that need people, workers, consumers and families. If you can land a job there, move! At least try. It doesn't even have to be that far up north, nor to be a mini small village. Small city, rural living, no criminality, cheap housing, lots of space, family friendly, no traffic, no wait time to see a doctor, friendly people, douchebags, we have it here. Are they drawbacks? Yes of course. Need to drive 1 or 2 hour to get a scan or an MRI, car dependance is exacerbated but hey, it feels like a free country where no one have been overpriced...yet.

And yes Canada’s second largest city [Montreal] is ridiculously cheap, but good luck trying to get in when you not only need the Canadian federal governments approval for citizenship but the Quebec provincial governments as well where fluency in the French language is now a requirement. \n\nAt the end of the day, your education abroad provided you with tools and resources that helped implement your vision. It allowed you recognize the changing dynamic of the global economy, the bygone era of easy opportunity and progress in the western world and the significant leaps and growth that your own “developing” nation has made, allowing you to easily break into your own market with much success than struggle surrounded by red tape, by laws, bureaucracy, expenses and competition while balancing yourself in a culture with societal norms and customs that are unfamiliar and new to you.

The testing and background checks for these international students need to be more thorough. \nWhen I was in university (publicly funded) four years ago doing a group project there was a guy that couldn’t write a whole sentence with proper grammar. So he didn’t do anything and we had to reflect that on the peer evaluation. Then he begged the professor to not write him up because his family had to sell lands back home to bring him here.\nThere is no way that someone could get into a Canadian university passing all the interviews and examinations without being able to speak and write with proper grammar. So he had to have cheated during the process. They are affecting the experiences of other students by not participating in group projects, and talking loudly during lectures.

I figured this was coming eventually. Canadians were known my entire life up until the last few years as jolly, mind your own business folks who didn’t mind a hockey fight but it’s really been a drastic cultural shift. My mom didn't want to leave US but my dad said there is no religious environment there plus our whole family lives in Pakistan and didn't want us to grow there. Our apartment owner who was Christian was not letting us go. He said that u guys r such an amazing people, good Muslims, nice to everyone and take Care for everyone. It was really hard for both of my parents but Allah made it easy for us. My mom passed away when I was 18 and my brother 15 and I really miss her. My option is u can guys move to Pakistan. U can get Islamic education + Islamic environment. No matter how bad our politics, government doesn't care about Its own country and no cleanliness but I still love Pakistan. I really respect you guys for making such a hardest decision with strength. I really support you guys with this decision. I've been here from August 26th. I live in Saskatoon. Found a job in 8 days, I didn't have a career back home, except for being a mechanic, saftey guy and 2 more diplomas. I started from ground up working at grocery shop, paid the bills, smoked that good weed, can video call my family everyday, hanging out with the boys and chilling. \n\nBut I understand how most people who had a career back in their home is having trouble getting the exact one here. My roommate did software engineering stuff back home and he works with me. \n\nAlso Canadians have been really great with me. I'm Canadian and worked in Dertoit for almost 10 years, I crossed the border daily working for GM. I've also done work in Louisiana, Indiana and all around Michigan. \nAmerica has some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's a beautiful country and has a ton to offer anyone with an ounce of drive. The variety you have in your economy is amazing, we don't have a lot of choice when we buy stuff, you guys have so much more to choose from, take restaurants for example, I've never seen so many chain restaurants in one place, we have a handful of them. \nFrom what I've seen, there's also a lot of poverty, crime and violence, but that's literally everywhere right now, even here in Canada, we don't prosecute violent crime anymore. The gun issue is probably the biggest problem...I always felt extremely vulnerable out in public, especially driving, because I assumed everyone had a gun on them, I seen so many random guns on people, it just blew my mind. I always had to keep in mind when I was driving not to road-rage...That's how you get shot. The health care industry in America is nothing but a business model designed to bankrupt people. Our system isn't great at all...nothing to boast about. If you have to visit the ER at any hospital, you'd better bring food and water, you'll be there at least 8 hours before you're even seen by a doctor. Our health care is free yes, but we're taxed to death here because of it. I do indeed wish we had a 2-teir health care system, I want the option to pay to get seen soonest. America and Canada have free(ish) speech. We're both being ruled by leftist loonies, but that's all changing in our next respective election cycles. Biden and Trudeau will be shown the door and we can hopefully get back to healthy debate and more conversation in society...Instead of automatically dismissing each other, vitriolic badgering one another and hating each other. We had unity for a brief time, we all saw it, after 9/11 happened. We put our petty crap aside and saw each other as brothers and sisters. That didn't last very long and we've been in a constant state of crisis ever since. The media has driven a huge nail right through society, and takes a blow at every single issue we face, making it Left vs Right...\nIt's unfortunate to say, but it's going to take something truly devastating, possibly on a biblical scale, for us to come together again.
