International students should come just to study not to work, if they can pay the universities fees, they should be able to pay for their bills. Foreign workers are need in some jobs, for example: agriculture, housekeeping, or skilled workers are ok too but we can see every store, fast food shops full of Filipinos and Indians, and they’re like mafias, once a Filipino is a manager, they mostly hire Filipinos and same with Indians. My daughter and her friends have been applying for a part time job in Tim’s, McDonalds, a&w, Walmart and other grocery stores and barely get a interview and never hired?, ahh but my daughter’s Filipino friends are all working ?, some of them where their parents work?

They often say they're open minded and welcoming, but it's a surface level thing. Surprise surprise I even felt as an outcast/outsider w my husband's family (if it's about language barrier, they have way better English than my family, but my family managed to make my husband felt welcome and involved), received racism from my own in laws and my husband since I'm from 3rd world country.

I came to Canada (Vancouver) from China in the early 80s (40 yrs ago), w my parents, who thought Canada would bring a better life, because Canada was cleaner, safer, more economically advanced, etc… I just visited China (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, HK) in March, and today it’s complete 180 reversal…. The big cities in China today are much more economically developed, technology advanced, safer, cleaner (no homeless people)… Canada showed little/no progress after 40+ years… actually backwards with homeless people & druggies everywhere… Worst of all and I agree, cost of living & housing costs in Vancouver & Toronto today out of control…

PM you need to stop bringing what so called international students our kids born in Canada now in waiting list for college or university because of international students my daughter can’t even get par time job at TIM HORTONS, A&W, MCDONALD this government flood the country with international students and bring up rental apartments triple for our low income families that’s already in the country.

All these problem yall complaining about, could’ve been solved by higher taxes on the rich and better housing and medical plans from the government. Although my parents were both immigrants in the early 60s, they both came here w 14 and 12 years of University and spoke 4 languages including French and English fluently. \nWe all assimilated very well w cultural norms and practices and adopted to Canada as opposed to Canada accepting our traditions. \nThat seems to be the major difference now, I don’t even recognize the Canada I was raised in. \nIronically, We’re forced to be accepting and inclusive to the point we’ve ended or changed standard traditions to adhere to that. Very sad.

Native kids, unable to get a job at Tim Hortons, A&W etc. Indian immigrants (especially) are buying franchises and hiring only their ethnicity throughout Canada and ripping off trades. It doesn’t end!
