As an American, I’m SO sorry that Trump is doing this. MANY of us did NOT vote for him and are HORRIFIED by the way he’s rapidly dismantling our democracy. ?

As an American, I am so Proud of President Trump! If my neighbors in Canada had done what was right and stopped the flow of fentanyl from coming into Canada and flowing into my country, little Justin wouldn’t be crying right now in front of a camera. Hey Justin, how many of your politicians were paid off to allow fentanyl to continue flowing? None, you say? So it was just incompetence then? I don’t think that you care because you are on your way OUT! I hope my Canadian friends do better!

We don’t want this either, and the current administration is not MY government and I know so many people who feel the same way. Trump and his cohorts are a danger to the American people and I am disgusted and ashamed that he is the ” leader” of my country. We stand with every true democracy against this tyrant and all who support him and his plot to destroy the United States!

In California but 1000% Team Canada. I am actively seeking out Canadian products to replace those from red states. (Canadian Mist, Crown Royal and many others are excellent replacements for Kentucky whiskeys.) I hope (and expect) that Blue State governors are working with Canada and our other allies to put the squeeze on Trump-supporting states and industries. As a US citizen who didn't vote for the president (Trump) we have who is corrupt, self- serving and would have gone to prison if he had not been voted as president. I too am appalled at what he and his minions have done already. \nI understand what Canada has to do to protect itself. I support Canada.I feel for the Canadian people. Remind me again why Trudeau was forced to resign? Even NY Times investigative journalists recently explained how NAFTA worked against US interests and killed so much of our industry decades ago; almost the opposite of what was intended. Trade needs to be reformed across the board. Twice in a week Trump is humiliated by a world leader, Trump thinking he can be a president of a country like the ceo of a corporation. North Carolinian American here. I am ashamed of our country pushing our allies away. What I and many others want to let our allies know is that we support them. Our country is getting closer to isolationism, and it isn't good if we want inflation and prices to go down. History has shown us what happened to our country when we were isolated, and it brought economic devastation throughout the country. I was questioning PM Trudeau for his foreign relationships and dealing with Khalistan separatists and straining Canada's relationship with India. But this speech changed that perception. I'm Danish - we have a big movement in Denmark to boycot American goods. The US has failed in so many ways. They will learn - perhaps to late - what the price is. In the mean time I urge people around the world who supports Ukraine, Mexico, Canada and Europe - who supports the right to freedom - to buy goods from each other. It’s possible, but this effort probably won’t be successful. Most African nations, except for those in the Sahel region, are just beginning to recover from the effects of colonialism. Many are now building their own paths and are more likely to align with China’s influence rather than the U.S. Even if the U.S. tries to get resources from Africa, it will likely face challenges from both local resistance and growing competition from China.
