My Indian friend told me Gujerati Indians have caused a lot of problems. Also the problem of defecating in parks and behind railway lines. And they claim that the body odour causes Canadians to puke...\nHowever the Indians I met were from Patiala at a cafe. They were well groomed and friendly.

They being rejected because they get in and do not want to leave”.\nIndians want to live outside India because they can succeed with n caste system in their way. \nIn the U S Indians can achieve high educations, own business or create wealth for themselves and live in big houses, have $ to have family live very well .\nThe problem is that Indians overstay their visa’s and they have also entered the U S illegally by way of Canada & through Mexico.\nThere are entire Indian communities in America, restaurants, clothing shops , synagogues and many businesses that cater to Indian culture. \n \nIn the end, many are residing in America illegally and they have violated U S immigration laws.\nTrump peas elected by the vote , will of the American people, and Americans want people here Illegally removed.

Palki Sharma is the very example of just because you can speak well doesn't make you smart. Wasn't she just making bs claims in Oxford that Indians were flaunting their passports and the immigration officer was a fan of India. Like seriously. Where does she even come up with these thoughts? Instead of reporting on real and prevalent issues around the country and making people aware of them, she's always concerned talking about others. A typical neighbour aunty. She probably lives in a bollywood script inside her head where she is the nationalist protagonist keeping the country together lol.

Well india is rising its true but it does not mean that your passport rank should improve, first you have to understand how are these rank being calculated and regarding crime and behaviour of indians i don't think so the rank should improve

Are you blaming the countries denying indians visa? Well if it is, its their country. They have the right to reject you. Thats it.
|

Thanks to our present government in power. Yes..Indians have no respect around the world. We were respected and treated well, but thanks to Modi.. everywhere we're looked down upon. It's a shame! The relationship that the governments build have direct effect on the citizens of that country. Indians are treated bad, because the relationships our Indian government has build with other countries shows in how they treat us.

Unfortunately, have to agree with the fact that some Indians have exploited the visa process and made it a mess for the remaining well intentioned legal residents. Lack of proper manners, over staying, misusing the privilege, list goes on. Please understand: we need to follow rules. We are a law abiding country. Not everything is perfect, neither in India or anywhere. That does not give you the right to break rules blatantly. We don't want illegal immigrants, why would some other country want that. Read, learn and improve. Good luck.

The Indian immigrants that came in the 70s and the 80s are good people and raised their family well. Not the recent ones who throw food on the street.
|

As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. I do not mean to disrespect the many decent Indian people I’m just telling the truth. As a culture your presence outside of India is negative because of the way so many Indians act, trying to create India wherever they go. And they have the cheek to say this is ok because they got colonised. WELL SO DID WE! That is the truth.

This is addressed mainly to the ugly Indian: My generation came to the racist west and built a golden reputation. We worked hard, assimilated, paid our taxes, and obeyed the laws. We were humble. We celebrated our native cultures within the confines of our communities. While it was frustrating to be invisible in white culture, we never sought to conquer them with our culture. We were ethical to the hilt. Our generations were poor -- yet we struggled to help others in India and in the west. We were NEVER on the dole. Personally I think it is rude to enter a nation (in the west or anywhere in the world) with naked opportunism. Speaking for myself -- despite neocolonialism, I admired western civilization, especially its older forms.
\n
\nBut the ugly Indian who comes now is loud, brash, socially irresponsible, exploitative, money-hungry, opportunistic, and arrogant beyond belief (full of the hubris that comes from sudden new wealth). They look down on us who have been here a while. They are used to a servant-culture and look down on white working class people, as if they are servants. As for second generation Indians in the west, they can be racist towards us first generations. But the opposite is true as well. Indian newcomers see them as an alien species. Indians do tend to hire their own and stick to their own identities -- I do not mean the Indian identity, but their native state identities. All this feeds into the primary and secondary forms of western racism that are already simmering beneath the surface. This new genre of Indians is destroying the goodwill we have built. I have personally witnessed arrogant young Indian students cutting the line to reach the front desk. No manners, no ethics. As a first generation Indian immigrant I get annoyed. So why shouldn't native born westerners (who are already racist)?
\n
\nBut to complain about how they smell is rude beyond belief. This must stop.

As an Pakistani American, Indians in the US do very well. The ones coming to the US are professionals mostly. The Indian community does not always mingle though. But in reality waiting 250 days for an interview is ridiculous. I sure hope this does not have something to d with incoming administration and racist dog whistles.

you are kind of discriminatory while you make this video..There are bad people here from every country , china, middle east, africa, mexico and even europe. Even the whites here are not all original, they migrated and did shameful things to Indigenous people. There are Indians who have assimiliated here well including Ministers, Police, Scientists, CEO’s. All over in US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia..Yes you can make a video to request fellow people to stop doing such things. But that doesn’t mean you can shame us or type cast anyone. There is trash of every colour.

The reality is that in India?? you don't get well paid jobs if you are poor performer in terms of education , here the good salary is for those who either crack some good entrance exam for IITs,NITs,IIMs etc or to those who have some guts to secure a government jobs ..and believe me the living standards and the respect you get after earning 50k to 1lakh per month in India is far better than cleaning toilets??, carpenter?, Driver?,and other low grade unskilled jobs in Canada as an Indian

As an NRI for a decade in Germany, I can assure you that not a single person in the developed western world looks at India with a nicer opinion. They think of it as a necessary baggage. They will only allow Visa on Arrival/E-Visa for people whom they respect and would like to be in the country. While I do not want to get into how some Indians behave when they are on their EU trip, Indians in India do not behave well too. This involves hygiene, roads, infrastructure, intelligence, corruption, etc. Indians tend to look at the Indian flag with tears in their eyes while listening to A.R. Rahman’s “Vande Mataram” with Bharat Bala’s video. But the reality in the western world is this: India is a loud, messy, unhygienic, poorly organized country filled with corruption and crime everywhere. Now, why would a well-developed country open their doors to potentially unruly 1.4 billion people? The reason for visa rejection is that a lot of them simply apply for a tourist visa and never leave. If someone really needs to travel, they will have the money and the motivation to apply multiple times. Hence, the first check with multiple layers of bureaucracy.

Indians are complained about the most in Canada, by other immigrants as well.
|
| 2025-01-21 | 0 |
But these interviewed Indians seem to be very nice and well educated. It may be good for Canada. Better than from Africa.
|

I think there is a lot of good Indian immigrants in UK. They work hard and are decent people who integrate well.
|
| 2025-01-20 | 0 |
All Indians should thank those Indian descendants who are behaving badly in foreign countries. I mean I could name a few Rishi Sunak, Vivek Ramaswamy and Kash Patel the list could go on and on. As an American with an Asian heritage many I saw many of my Indian American friends voting for Trump well since I voted for Kamala just remember Indians just because you’re supporting these guys doesn’t mean that they accept you in their team. I am guessing Karma is real ????

Ms. Sharma went to Oxford and gave a cringeworthy performance about the supposed strength of Indian passport and how it is the envy of the word. So. didn't expect much substance from the propaganda spreading jingoistic journalist. She conveniently missed mentioning the real reasons why visa applications of Indians get rejected -\n1) Thousands of Indians go on tourists visas only to 'disappear' and never return. It doesn't just happen in Canada, US, UK, Aus but also welcoming countries like Thailand, UAE.\n2) Indian Visa (to visit India) itself is one of the most expensive and complicated to get for foreigners, so other countries have no incentive to make it easier for Indian citizens.\n3) Developed countries know that if they make it 'easier' for Indians to travel to their country, they will end up with tens of thousands who wont want to go back to India. It is already the case when its difficult to get a visa, imagine the situation if its made easier.\n4) Most of the Indian tourists fall under the mass category, they are not like the heavy spending Chinese tourists. We are not the most well behaved, so till we start getting more affluent, we wont be in as much demand.

Well what you expect such poor Junglee indian people?? they are trying to travel from no Sanitation system to hi-tech Sanitation system. So obviously those countries rejecting has valid point. In fact their government people also drinking animal pee so do the math
|
| 2025-01-19 | 0 |
These reasons may be applicable for few. But in general even if the visa applicant is educated and valid reason to travel, the visa gets rejected and no valid reason is given. \n\nEducation and civic sense issues are there, but not everyone is from that class, so cannot generalise. \n\nWe as Indians must learn to talk well about ourselves.

The problem is that when they ask for a tourit visa, they stay and want to work. Europeans and Americans as well as people ftom the rich Ara nations go to Infia as a tourist and then go back to their country. Thailand and Vietnam allow more Indians be ause Indians do not want to work there. We are right. We must not give visas unless we need the person. India should fo the same.
|
| 2025-01-19 | 0 |
Well india now has more than 1 billion middle class people looking to travel abroad. Lots of countries cannot handle the sheer number of indian tourists. India gets more than 70% of the usa H1B Visas so it's already getting most of the world's Visas. Maybe Indians should stay home and support states like Goa that are suffering from a lack of tourists
|
| 2025-01-19 | 0 |
It’s high time we bring rouge Indian tourists to book , there is no doubt we are the most uncivilized tourists in the world , be it in civil behaviour , littering, getting drunk in the flight and after landing..and mostly undocumented and illegal immigration. You see our compatriots peddling momentos, food delivery, hard labor , and almost any job that locals don’t like to do, the result is we get typecasted as an impoverished , rogue elements ..of their there are many south Asians in west but most of them blend well with local society and maintain decorum. Sorry to mention most of the undocumented Indians are from North India.. 5:20

India is also exporting the their native discriminations as well such as the caste system and discrimination of other people. There are already too many Indians in this world. Indians are also too materialistic and greedy.

I’m not Indian National however I feel proud that this nation has build ‘herself’ as the 5th largest global economy and if some of the following ways are adapted by Indian Gov, the Indian passport will be saluted.\n1) Make your currency strong as in Raja Ranjeet Singh’s time 1 Indian puree was ten (£10) British Pounds, today it’s 100 Rupee to £1.\n2) Need to hold educational tests for everyone going abroad with a minimum level of English language.\n3) Emphasis on etiquettes and local Knowledge of the country where the traveller wants to visit.\n4) Stop all of illegal immigration via people smuggling agents as this gives a bad name to the country.\n5) Set a minimum benchmark amount of funds required before applying for an overseas visa.\n6) Make it mandatory for all travellers to have a full fare return ticket (12 months validity) on them at all times to show strong ties to return back home after trip.\n7) Create strong religious tolerance and harmony within the country so the world can see no religious discrimination being reported on international media worldwide.\n8) The Indian embassies all around the world should be aware and weary of each Indian national traveling abroad in real time so they f any help is require they can assist 24/7 without failure.\nThese are some of my points and opinions for a better India.\nI hope the people who read above will not be offended by any of my opinions as this is not my intention and I am well wisher and want to see this nation thrive, always.\nGood luck and all the best…

Well, there are good Indians and scammers Indian. Scammers in India are causing headaches for good Indians. That is the facts. For instance, recently some Indians took a huge loan in UAE and left for Canada with that money. That has put the UAE government in a position to make the visa process more difficult to find out if bad people are getting the visa or not. I would say, the Indian government should introduce a process to thoroughly investigate a person before they apply for a foreign visa, and it should be honest to see some improvement in Indian behavior in the foreign countries. If not, that number is just going to go down. It doesn’t matter how much you scream. Do that for the sake of good Indian people.
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Palki you left the most critical factor and that was well expected given your flattering attitude towards Modi. It's because of Modi's handling of foreign relations and his incompetence our Indian passport is consistently falling in ranks. But you won't say a word about him....
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Tell the truth to your Indian community the reason India is losing its passport acceptance because they have lied to developed countries. IT guys are under qualified what they have shown on their degrees most of them have bogus degrees that's why Canada have failed all Indian students they could not pass Canadian entry level test, USA has also have found out the hard way that Indian coming to USA have lied on their degrees and not qualified for the position. All scammer are from India, look in u tube scammer tracker and see how they cought scammers from India. Please wake up and do not listen to GODI MEDIA factitious development all in papers but in reality India still veiy very poor country, all is well documented and well documented in western media, recent study shows that India is 111th nation in hunger index out of 125 countries of the world ? well documented all I said is well documented all I did just reiterated.

I just love it,,, i mean i just love it when we get a reality check,, i have been to 20 countries for studies, for work and as a toursit , i didnt face any visa rejection (maybe bcos my documents and funds were good) but boy o boy i just saw the behaviour of mostly hindi belt guys who go to Visa free countries like malaysia, bali, thailand and what horrible behaviour, they will spit around, drink pass lewid comments on foreigners and local ladies, try to bargain it was such an embarrassment, there were people chanting religious slogans near burj khalifa making reels, recently i visited georgia and some gujrati family was asking for seperate vegetarian cooked meals in an authentic georgian restaurant,, they were talking like they owned that place.\n\nI left india for studies in 2000 and came back in 2013, but during this time the indians were well behaved abroad and followed the rules,, maybe post smartphone era and the so called Godi media all have got a false feeling that we have become some vishwaguru just look at our comments on any videos on youtube instagram which are critical of us.\nThere was a news on one Lapdog Godi channel that Trump is crying infront of our PM that we help him in LA fires,, such shameless and bigoted lies will make any dimwit person think we are the greatest,\nIts high time we should start retrospecting our online as well as social behaviour.

She always tries to sound like there is an agenda against India. Check timestamp 3:07. There is no agenda, let me explain why.\nThe rejection rate is a better measure than rejection numbers or visa fees. And I'm pretty sure that India has a lower rejection rate compared to many other countries. It is the sheer volume of applications that contribute to this. Even 1% rejection on 100k Indian visas is a 1000 rejected visas. While a less populous country may have 10% rejection out of 1000 visas which is 100 rejections. So, in % terms, India fare well despite having higher rejections.\nFiring shots at Kosovo, Cuba and B Faso is a cheap shot and unnecessary to push the point of passport rank. All countries have a right to determine who they allow into their country with lower restrictions. And they are under no obligation to open the gates to anyone. It is also common knowledge that the newer cohorts of Indian immigrants to the West are a bad representation of Indian society (best example - Canada). Hence the rising anti Indian Immigration stance. Immigration is a privilege and not a right. I hope that the Indian community understands that the visa rejections are a lesson and not an insult, and that they learn from this and become better ambassadors when they go overseas.
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
This has a lot to do with visa overstays and with fairly large proportion of Indians using a visitor visa to illegally immigrate. And then there's a huge problem of Indians using fraudulent documentation. These are all well-known factors.
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
First of all why there is craziness to visit abroad. Let western nations come and beg for indian visas. We have everything in our mother land. Ofcourse, we have our own problems like traffic and pollution, etc but every other nation has their own set of problems as well. IT is the root cause for this problem time and again. Getting Onsite opportunity, becoming PR and finally settling there as citizen and paying tax to that country. It may sound cliche but East or west, india is the best
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
It's well deserved the way some try to get in with fraud docs and wrong way...But should not be rejected, right Palki ? // cause duniya mein ab GODI and Andh Bhakt need to work harder // I thought India is already a VC ishwaguru and our danka is on top right Palki?? // and where is that sycophant Akshay Kumar who say at immigration they jostle to handle indian passports and in his words Aw Aw you are from Modis India, where is this aw aw crow sounding with a rubbish accent now hiding.????
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
palki is living in a dream that all Indians are well-mannered in other countries. look at what Punjabis are doing canada.
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Why does not she say that it's our behavior that is causing this, all arrogant indian around the world has created a very bad picture of India, this includes Paalki as well. I though she was a new reporter didn't know she was a fake one.!!
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
First of all this reporter is biased and always tries to hide the skeletons in the closet. I will tell you which is real elephant in the room. You know why countries like Cuba and their passports are more powerful than Indian passports? Because after the visit Cubans return back to their country whereas Indians will stay back in the host nation by any means. Plus most of the Indians do not represent their country well by their unsophisticated behavior.
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Here in the USA, We are fortunate to have many Indian neighbors.\nThe sad part is that 99% of them don't even try to be nice neighbors. \nI love and respect the Wonderful Indian culture, and I wish they could be a little more friendly and respectful of other cultures as well. ?
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Well this is misleading - do you know why new zealand rejects? There are many issues with Indians
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Indians travelling abroad should also need to have basic common sense. These middle class needs to have attitude adjustment and also have the plans to come back after the visit. Do not take travel visa as some sort of right to stay back illegally. Vacations should be spend in the right way, you book a hotel, for an example, do not try to take the amenities provided by hotel for their guest as some sort of right to take away things. Because of a few, the whole nation gets its reputation tarnished. Please talk about these issues as well.
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Starting to feel Palki is biased towards India than being an honest journalist. Did you even bother to check why Indian visas are getting rejected in these countries? What the rejection reasons were? \n\nAs many have already commented, I will put across a list for Palki -\n\n1. Indians are Indians even outside India, well, what good are you if you do not wish to be integrated and become part of the society? \n2. Do not like to research, and instead ask questions to save time which is bad manners.\n3. Complaining is in our blood about everything.\n4. Be respectful and be considerate of others.\n5. If you are applying for a tourist visa, be a tourist and should return when the visa expires. Get a good insurance which most of the time people are not un-aware.\n6. If you apply for student visa, be a student and do not exploit the visa or violate any rules and extend your visa stay.\n7. If you are hired for work, honour the work permit rules.\n8. Last but not the least, be a good citizena and don't do anything which may spoil your countries' image.
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Give the break down by reason for rejection. That's the real story. This story is more about Indians believing they are entitled because of the size of our economy. We'll that can only get you so far. If you lack civic sense, if you lack education, if you lack financial means, if you lie or plan to migrate well then you deserve to be rejected.
|
| 2025-01-17 | 0 |
Well done to these nations for the rejections of those who do not deserve the visas. Indians should have a hard look at the scams they do to get these visas. Ofcourse some may be truly deserving. But immigration is there for a purpose to keep these bloody scammers out.
