You're not correct about the Quebec government banning the hijab - actually they ban all forms of religious expression in clothes worn at work by public servants - so don't criticize us unless you get the facts straight. I do agree with you about limited competition in banking and tech - but we're still a young and growing country, however, look at the global recession that took place in 2007 - Canada was least affected by mortgage default, the US was hit the worst and hundreds of thousands had their homes foreclosed by the Banks, yet in Canada because of our strict banking policies we were saved and the Banks worked with defaulters to try to keep their homes. Taxes, well most countries require you to file your own taxes at the end of the year - what's so strange about that? Listen, when you're a newcomer to any country you need to fit in when looking for a job, put in the effort, take the time, do the work, any country is going to expect you to be able to speak the language and know the lingo, so I don't agree with your analysis that Canadians are risk adverse! You are 100% correct about the housing crisis, listen it's been going on everywhere for decades, and international investors in the past 10 years or so woke up and noticed that Canada was a great bet for investment, so the problem got really bad. The government just passed a 2 year moratorium on non Canadians buying real estate - as have many other countries, so fingers crossed no more new foreign landlords just regular Canadians buying their first homes, let's hope so!! I've lived many years in Europe - and I loved it! But the quality of life in Canada is better. If you don't live in the crowded city you can have a nice property with lots of space, good roads, not bad school system, very friendly and helpful people. Quebec has some of the best food on the North American continent, we have clean air and lots of water in Canada - I'm very happy here, so don't be so negative please!

Study university in your home country, its affordable. Apply for work visa in western countries. You dont need a degree to work there.

These western countries need to be weaned off international students

If you are coming to a western country, nursing is your easiest ticket. That's probably the cheapest and easiest path to PR in most western countries especially in US. You only need 2 year Associate degree. Many community colleges give your local tuition rates if tuition is paid by a local resident.

Great content but I had a smile on my face throughout. Have you met the big brother of them all, the UK? These things are the same in most hyped western countries. The thing is, there is a lot of hype about the popular western countries among the migrants from countries prone to emigration. The issue is that migrants don't do enough research before jetting off. Most universities are recognized by Canada actually. If you go to a competitive university it’s guaranteed. Engineers need to transfer their PEng license to Canada. Doctors need to have a MD in a Western country to transfer licenses.

To make a story short, there is nothing special in Western countries. The quality of life in Canada has changed for the worst. The country claims Canada needs more immigrants but all the companies have been working on implementing new technologies to replace workers or transfer jobs to cheaper markets. Exception IT jobs.. Some companies suggest we should prepare ourselves to share our job with another worker, this would mean less working days and less pay..

This really comes down to introvert versus extrovert personality types. Most Western countries are great for introverts who need their space to function at their best potential. If you are a Type-A extrovert, a social animal who thrives among multitudes of people, then you'll just have to work harder to establish your circle of friends and you might be miserable if you're not able to do that. I live in the United States and I love being not bothered by anybody. No complaints at all. No marks for guessing my personality type of course.

The tax in Canada is not very high. At least compared to many other Western Nations. \nI came from Germany to Canada and the tax in Canada is a joke me according to me. Income tax with social contributions is roughly 42% even on average salaries in Germany. Sales tax is 19%. Cost for energy and fuel is almost ten times higher than in Canada.\nSure, Canada is pretty expensive. Housing, food and medication are massively overpriced compared to many at EU countries. I need medication every month and in Canada I pay roughly 180 Dollar while in Germany it was zero. Even without the health insurance I would only pay 30€ a month for that.\n\nOverall Canada is good, but doesn't necessarily offer a better quality of life. I only live here because I like Canadian people and the mentality is great.

If they are so peaceful then why they need to take asylum in western countries

I would suggest countries accepting immigrants especially Western Nations should introduce a bill that body display of faith should be at left home and should be carried within you. No need to display and promote in Public or work place.

It makes no sense to wear nakaabs and burkha in western countries. You want to follow the traditions of the religion and on the other side you are fond of living in European countries. Your desire to move to European countries, vividly clears the picture that you are not interested to live in your own country, where all people are Muslims. If Islam is that much good, then there is no need to leave your own countries. Stop doing. You are finding satisfaction in European countries and having their traditions and customs. People living in European countries are not like the people living Middle East. If you feel so much offended there, then go back to your own countries. Go back and you will find your religion and your own mates.

People are concerned because most individuals who practice Islam are unable to assimilate into western society, and accept the rules and laws of the country in which they live! Their religion and religious beliefs are more impotent to them. But such a thing can also be said for any other overly religious individual who takes their religion to seriously! There is nothing wrong with immigrating somewhere and taking your culture with you, but you also need to learn to adapt and evolve to the country and society you choose to live in!

What if i stood on our Borders and told you to go back because this is a western country. What right do you have to tell us on our streets where we can walk. We welcome people you into our country and this is how you treat us in our own country. We go and do as we please in this country we have our own laws. we don't need people like you to tell us what to do in it. So sad I always wanted to travel to Canada as have heard what a beautiful country it is, but not now! \nSo many countries I now no longer wish to visit, Islamic people should stay in Islamic countries, but they won't! read the Quran, it is their duty to make the world Islamic, it needs stopping it has no place in western culture.

The current governments in our countries are all agreeing to this mass migration, is there an agenda? In middle ages, Kazakhstani people were the most feared rivals of Muslim Civilizatiion. And in no way they could conquer us by means of war. So what they did is they sent a whole bunch of missionaries to our land, but in pursue of converting us into Middle Eastern religion, they changed themselves. Just like early Christianity that came also from middle East has changed under the influence of antique European culture. \nOur Tengrian culture mellowed down lots of Islamic rules, also many of us turned atheist  during Soviet Union, and learned critical thinking, I am an atheist, my mom is a muslim. My father is an atheist. All my surroundings are muslim. We argue sometimes about religion but mostly for the sake of discussion not a fight. But don't get fooled by the number of muslims here, we do not allow  any religious fundamentalism in our country. \nAnything that is not a part of our culture in Islam is being rejected. Like we do not allow kids to wear hijabs at school. Religious speeches are not allowed in schools and secular institution. Yet we have a growing number of mosques (all under strict control of our government) \nSo if kept as a religious community, where people help each other overcome the hardships of life, practice it moderately without pushing to anyone it is possible to have adescent muslims, but in no way it should be in contact with Middle Eastern ideologist that treats Western civilization as an enemy. \nYou guys need to separate british muslims and mosques from Middle Eastern warlords influence. It is a slow process, but it is worth it as it is the only adult way to deal with Islamic fundamentalism. Not by hating on your fellows citizens just because they are muslim.

Western countries need to stop letting people from these countries abuse our system

There are 240 million refugees waiting to come here. Canada is a big country. Of course we are not building new towns or cities. But we all believe in economic growth. Therefore we need to flood our cities with people. Diversity brings division. Lack of social cohesion, public trust. We need to ignore these studies and push our agenda forward. Only non-western countries are allowed to have national identities, like Japan.

I'm NO racist, but this is the sort of bull shit I HATE! If we went to a Muslim country and went round in vests saying democracy police we would face harsh punishment or even death. If the Islamic followers want to be more accepted it would benefit for them to denounce the radical Islamic parts more openly and more often, also even the Christians have tone down or even speak against how some things in the Bible are written and or interpreted and have even fought against groups or individuals who would radicalize things from the Bible.\n\nBut it appears that even the moderate follower of Islamic faith may say something to a non believer just to appear helpful, but while later it seems those moderates talk different when around others of their faith, no longer ready to speak against their teachings or leadership. I was a rare exception because I was American and did all of the above, however none of my female friends could or would do any of the things that I just mentioned. what we need is an enlightment movement with islam where the individual determines whats best for themselves rather than these literal interpretations. In the U.S. at my school many of the 3rd generation muslim kids my age are becoming integrated. Girls wear hats that conceal their hair and long sleeves that fit within their religions dress code instead of the burka and young men are very open to other people ideas such as alchohol use. The problem is when families control their children, as in any case really, and are less than open to change. As a son of an immigrant the most important step with integration is the elimination of your cultural identity, you leave your values in your own country because you are no longer in an enviorment where your opinion matters or is relevant. If muslims could adjust/conform their rules to fit the conscripts of western civilization everything would be dandy. Adapt to fit the society that you move into, dont try to reform society to better suit yourself expecially when your a foriegner.

I used to be a very liberal person for most of my life and tolerant of other cultures and religious faith, like many others I may add.\n However my tolerance is wearing somewhat thin, like many others I may add again, after hearing the same old opinions coming from Muslims repatriated in western societies. \n They come into our cultures on mass and never assimilate into ours, but create their own little pockets of cultural being within our national borders.\n We hear time and again how the indigenous populist must be accepting of them, even though very few are accepting of our culture, using an analogy it's akin to inviting a stranger into your home and give them a safe place to live, food, money and all items that go along with it, and the next thing their sat on your favourite chair with your remote in their hand, even going to bed with your wife!\n We need to wear our head covering it's our right they chant, OK then, afford the same favours to us in your country, let my partner wear her bikini when she's walking down the road, let us drink alcohol, build Christian churches, you get where I'm going with this.\n If it's so great there why do you choose to live here? As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc...
