All these countries like Canada, US are relying on Indians, Chinese and other foreigners to run their tech economy. Indians are taking huge loans (like 40L) to sign up to their universities. Their locals are not signing up for it. They are incompetent. Foreign students are a major source for their universities. More than 95% are foreigners. If not for foreigners, then these programs will shut down. And then they poach these foreign students to work in their tech sector. What I don’t get is America isn’t against immigrants coming to America (the legal way) but people want to protest coming here illegally and are upset people are getting deported because they didn’t come the legal way. I work with a ton of guys that came to America the legal way and are all for deporting the illegals back to where they came from. The legal immigrants work hard and pay taxes and illegals don’t pay taxes they get benefits and haven’t paid their dues like the legal immigrants had to do to get in. Taking care of illegals takes away from Americans getting the help they need and we have to pay taxes. At this point - Feb 2025- a lot of condos have been built in Toronto and guess what, nobody is buying!! The economy dipped with the pandemic as it happened in many other countries! When I immigrated to Canada - and I had nothing then, it was impossible to even think of buying a house, under a Conservative government. About 10 years later I was able to purchase my first home and am doing well, thank you. So are the builders in this beautiful province, close friends with the premier. I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada.
