It's becoming way too easy to define an entire group of people as criminals. Their is not one story that uses the word criminal no less than 25 times. Hold up this story is not making sense. If you have border control how are buses able to pass through without boarder checks. Border patrol comes on board buses to do id checks when it reaches the US/Canadian border. The only way they can get thru is if they have a valid passport or they are still able to claim asylum. I’m an old stock Canadian senior. The Canada I grew up in during the 1960s and 70s was not some sort of fictional story, it was truly a better society than we see today. It was the envy of the world. My dad who never finished high school had a decent unionized job in a factory, and on that one income could buy a house, raise a family and made a comfortable middle class life. Sure it wasn’t perfect, but it was much better than what we see today.

Let me take your story further. There been a number of suicides amongst Indian students, some have been hooked on drugs, some girls have turned to prostitution and many girls have been sexually take advantage by their Indian / Punjabi landlords and employers. The situation is dire. My advice: Stay in India, the education is better, the social life is better, the food is better, the vibe is better. Money is not everything. Being happy is. Canada has cleaner air, water & streets but the cost is very high. It's a struggle not just for immigrants or students, it's hard for locals. To buy an average detached home (bungalow) in Toronto / Vancouver is over C$1 million. To qualify for a mortgage with 20% down payment, one would need an income of $200,000. FYI, that's a doctors salary.

I watched your report on London Ontario's problem with drug distribution centers... I thought that you give it a good effort and it was really worth my time to watch it, it presented some real truths that inspire me to grow more truths within my mind about the situation, and that is what is needed for people to create solutions. You did a service by presenting that report. However you really missed the mark on this report about Brampton... in many many ways. You need to do more research, you can't 'lead' your interviewee's, and you have to provide information, facts. There were all kinds of directions you could have gone with the comment provided by the people you spoke to, there were all kinds of facts that you could have brought to the table. There IS perhaps a story there, but you didn't find one worth telling. It looks like you're really dedicated to this pursuit of reporting, and it it looks like you're a one man team... this work is hard to do, you should consider getting some help 'putting dots together' and creating your presentations.

I remember in Matamoros 4 or 5 years ago a group of migrants stormed the bridge. I was crossing to work on a daily basis at the time and had to cross the BM Bridge because Gateway Bridge was where these clowns staged their protest. Barriers were erected, guns were locked and loaded and these scumbags put the CHILDREN in their group at the front, as some kind of shield.
