You cannot get a better standard of living by driving our country into a Third World that you just left to get a better life

We love people immigrated to our country and learning our culture. In our way of life. They’re coming here because we live a better life. You can’t live this life. If you destroy it you’re just gonna make it back into the country. You just left and there’s no place to go from here.

It’s really disappointing to see some immigrants not making any effort to adapt to this beautiful country, but instead trying to recreate everything exactly as it was back home. I’m an immigrant healthcare professional myself, and I visit many nursing and retirement homes. It feels extremely disrespectful when immigrant workers speak only in their own languages even when others around them don’t understand. Just a few days ago, I was in a park and witnessed someone spitting red tobacco all over a tree trunk. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in Canada. We came here for better opportunities and a better life, so it should be our responsibility to respect the culture and the public spaces here. I genuinely believe the government needs to be stricter about who they allow in. Canada doesn’t need people who refuse to integrate or who create a nuisance in public. Diversity is about sharing and respecting each other, not about ignoring Canadian values or lowering public standards. If someone is not willing to respect this country and its culture, then maybe Canada is not the place for them.

As an immigrant I highly agree…IF YOU CAME TO ANOTHER COUNTRY FOR A BETTER AND PEACEFUL LIFE YOU SHOULD EMIGRATE, RESPECT AND BECOME PART OF THAT COUNTRYS’ CULTURE AND NOT TRY TO DESTROY IT. Cause I’m sure that tourist who visit certain countries are expected to do the same . For example if I wanted to travel to a Middle Eastern Country I would have to wear a Burka or another form of head covering even though that’s not what I’m use to. So yea…If you can’t respect Canada for its culture STAY IN YOUR COUNTRY OF BIRTH AND STOP TRYING TO CONFORM CANADA INTO SUCH.

We bring in to many Muslims coming into to our culture which they do not want to assimilate. They are praying in front of catholic churches showing the disrespect they have for us. If we dont paty attention they will take over as per their Koran to kill the infidels. We need to wake up and soon. English is the main language in most of the country and french in Quebec. That country better do something and fast...

Some immigrants pretend to be more loyal than the King, which is dangerous to the country. However, the immigrants who are honest and celebrate their culture without causing problems for the locals are better for the country. How many Westerners living in Africa integrated with local Africans even after living there for centuries? It is human mentality to practice your culture when you become a minority in another country.

He's not telling you that this figure is not reflective of people seeking to remain in Canada permanently. The figure includes student visas, work permit holders including work permit extensions: many of these people will benefit Canada and then go back to their countries. If you look at the FAR more relevant figures for actual population growth, they show that the population will grow MUCH more slowly in 2025 than it did in 2024. I'm disappointed that the person who made this video did not see fit to provide real context to all this anti-immigrant sentiment. Inflating the problem is dangerous. The economic hurt is real, but throwing into the mix completely misleading figures about how fast the population is growing only serves to weaponize the pain being felt from the economy, against immigrants. We can't have a lucid conversation about the problem and the solutions, if the medium is this non-existent standard for fact-checking. Channel owner, please do better.

Till Canadians will not choose right leaders of our country, nothing will get better.

It's not about race or culture. It's just too much is too much. Too much for our health care system. Too much for our economy to handle. Too many jobs are now scarce. Too much is bad for the people who have paid their taxes here forever, just so one particular immigrant group can use up resources that long time generations have built. I'm not saying any particular culture, but there are too many of them. This particular culture should also be reduced because they are exploiting every mistake the government makes (from their good hearts) or loopholes to stay. Not just stay but trying to transform a country into their own. That is wrong. Most immigrants from past generations didn't come here to conquer the country. They came here to be part of a great country. Contribute to it. Make it better, not make it worse. And now here we are. How are we going to fix this? Put a very long pause on immigeation. Get rid of international students from this particular country. They have no right to stay. Stop giving licenses to unqualified people that can't read, write, speak or even understand English. It's becoming a safety issue everywhere. Again, it's not about race. It's the "too many" factor that the country can not sustain.

Most of the immigrants landing here in Canada are not boosting our economy but just becoming a liability taking the country backward rather than progress. Tye government should stop immigration including refugees, at least for a while. Not that I don’t want to help these people but we just dont have the resources for now to accommodate them. ‘m shocked to hear that 817,000 people landed in Canada. Add three zeros to it because these people pay at least a $1000 as administrative fee to government IRCC. So that is $817,000,000 Canadian Dollars. Close to a Billion. What is government doing with this money? No Government, we Canadians dont want that money in our GDP. He has enough natural resources that can sustain ourself. Stop selling cheap oil to US. And back to people who come here as immigrants. You are in a different country to have a new life. There is no point in protecting here in Canada about the things happening in your home country. No jobs and no housing? Why not build more small, affordable homes while expanding your cities? Why not create more jobs? Don't you want to grow and focus less on the USA and Trump? This is really a long conversation about this topic.A new way of thinking in how we are feeding our selfs in house, not by import and export most of the time.. My husband and I were both immigrants to Canada, he from S. Africa, I from the UK. I never experienced any discrimination. My busband was diagnosed with late stage bone cancer at 31 years old. The medical care was so good that he lived another 6 mostly happy years. We were supported by the Ontario Health Care system with visiting nurses, even housekeepers and received every help we could possibly need, at no cost to us. I will always be grateful for the love and support we received from Canadian friends, employers and the medical professionals. What a country! I am in Europe now but feel strongly that Canada, the EU, Britain, the wonderful Ukrainians (I know quite a few refugees) and other countries of good will should work together for a better world. We are a family and families support each other in difficult times. Americans welcome when they are ready.

As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. As an American. I don't think it was a good thing to bully other countries, especially allies and neighbors. There are other diplomatic ways to do things. I am not left or right, but I felt like Obama and Clinton had better ways with international relationships. I know our leader are trying to do their best for us Americans, and well we have been helping other countries for decades. Maybe, it is time that other countries start paying us back. I think the US president is making the US economy worse, taxes and prices in the country will increase, and relations with other countries will not be good. Since taking office, he has only focused on the small number of rich people with a lot of money, while 90% of the population is struggling with prices and taxes, so he has nothing to care about. What did the American people vote for him to do? To make people's lives better, to have more jobs, to make taxes better...etc. He only talks but has not done anything.
