Let's be honest.... Its probably too late for Canada.

I am a skilled immigrant, an auditor by profession for 16 years. I climbed up the ladder from a junior auditor to department head before I left for Canada late last year. I've submitted hundreds of job applications to date and I only got a response. I have no choice but to take that job in fastfood restaurant just to make a living. Don't worry, if I still don't get a job aligned to my profession in few months, I will leave. I'm tired..

The people who elected the liberal fucked Canada. Way too late now. Got to live with it or move on. Canada is not what it used to be n can be. Now the city I live in has tons of tents n homelessness. Crime, expensive houses, rent n groceries. It makes the rich richer like the corporate companies that can employ cheap labour with little or no benefits. Don’t come to Canada unless you are highly skilled. For ordinary Joe, you have to work 2-3 jobs to afford living here.

My husband and I were both immigrants to Canada, he from S. Africa, I from the UK. I never experienced any discrimination. My busband was diagnosed with late stage bone cancer at 31 years old. The medical care was so good that he lived another 6 mostly happy years. We were supported by the Ontario Health Care system with visiting nurses, even housekeepers and received every help we could possibly need, at no cost to us. I will always be grateful for the love and support we received from Canadian friends, employers and the medical professionals. What a country! I am in Europe now but feel strongly that Canada, the EU, Britain, the wonderful Ukrainians (I know quite a few refugees) and other countries of good will should work together for a better world. We are a family and families support each other in difficult times. Americans welcome when they are ready.

As a Brit... I've been to Canada many times (the first time as a soldier in 1981) and of late in the likes of BC, I've fished there. Love, love, love Canada and the Canadians. I’m a dual citizen of the USA and the UK and have been so disgusted by Trump, he projects evil, he’s smarmy and egotistical. I just don’t understand how many of my American friends act like he’s right up there with God, I just can’t fathom their thinking. As a Canadian citizen, it’s not that I do not feel like my interests and well-being doesn’t matter. I know it doesn’t matter. He close attention to what he says as well such as make that make sense is a popular conservative or republican slogan. aren't there ANY possible legal ways at all to stop them in their tracks?, english is not my first language and i learnt it late in life, but words like impeachment come to mind, along with criminal offences, felony charges for corruption, espionage and so on. Street protests?, mass complainings to your representatives?... i do not really know what you can do in your country (i'm in europe), but please do something, get your country back!... thanks for reading
