My great-great-great-great-grandfather came to this country in the War of 1812 his name is Sir Colonel James Fitzgibbon. Our family Legacy is in the history books of saving Canada from being a part of the United States during that war. That is on my mother's side of the family. On my father's side of the family I am native Ojibwe Indian. So my bloodline is purely Canadian. I was raised in downtown Toronto in the seventies and eighties and the most beautifully multi-cultural city in Canada. Never have I had a problem or even thought in any way of being racist. In those days an even until very recently I never had a problem with anyone from India. There are 2.7 million people in Canada without permanent residency. A very large % are East Indian. East Indians want us to adapt to THEM. They don't mix well with other cultures. When immigration is so massive in the hundreds of thousands per year that is surpasses a country's capacity to integrate them especially if you consider the tremendous cultural difference between Canadians and Indians. Indians as the newcomers are not doing enough to adapt their way of life to embrace the local culture, creating a huge cultural gap between them and their Canadians hosts. Take Brampton as an example, the overwhelming number of Indians there is completely changing the cultural environment of that city and white Canadians dont identity anymore with their city, some have been there for over 100 years, now they feel like strangers and the end up by wanting to leave.

I am so thankful I have Greek and Macedonian citizenship. As soon as I'm done with my education, I'm moving back to Greece or Macedonia, somewhere there are hardly any Indians. I literally get lucky to see 4-5 white, black, or latinos a day in my city, the rest are all Indian, Pakistani, and Arabs. I don't feel like I'm living in Canada anymore, I feel like I'm living in the Middle-East. I only have 2 more years of university and then if I don't go to Greece or Macedonia, it'll be because there's too many Middle-Easterners there too, and I will go someplace like Korea or Vietnam, where there are practically no Middle-Eastern people. Sorry, but you're right about them being rude, and they act like they're entitled to everything. It's disgusting and I've had enough. The problem will only get worse even if we shutdown immigration, because there are so many here already, and they don't have kids, they have litters of 5-10 children per family. Soon the whole country will just be Middle-Eastern, just give it a few decades. If you can get out of Canada and go someplace else, I suggest you do now, before it's too late.

We don't hate Indian's, the gov is allowing too many immigrants into Canada when we don't have enough housing to support Canadian's let alone the surplus of new comers. It's a fact, crime has surged over the past few decades since the influx of immigrants from all over the world. This is not the same Canada where I grew up, serious crimes were far and few between and now it's daily.

The immigrants could be from anywhere and they would be unwelcome becasue we don't have enough housing, jobs or supplies for this level of immigration. The fact that most of the immigrants are Indian is only considered negative because there is no shared culture, values and they are competing with locals for scarce jobs and thus driving down wages.

Maybe the foreign students are unfairly being singled out due to the actions of fellow Indians whether immigrated or Canadian born.There are parts of our country where every time there are their are major organized crime busts involving drugs and shootouts and other activities the names involved in a large number of cases definitely have an east asian ring to them. I'm born to lose autistic. I don't hate Indians. They were oversold on coming to Canada. Once here I'm sure they came to realize holy hell-the rent is so high here and the wages won't cover it. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. I think it boils down to the issue of mass immigration as you pointed out earlier in the video. People don’t like to observe sudden and drastic transformation of their country’s cultural and ethnic make up. The Trudeau government is the one primarily responsible for this when he’s importing half a million immigrants a year not only it causes housing shortage but also not enough time to integrate the migrants that are coming and it becomes unsustainable. Hence when there’s stories such as “pooping on the beach by East Indian migrants” emerges it simply shows a symptom of unsustainable immigration where some immigrants bring in their disgusting 3rd world habits and don’t realize the common sense social norms that exist in the country they’ve migrated to and learn to adapt. And yes there are way too many Indians in Canada and it’s quite noticeable, they often don’t respect Canadian culture and values and don’t properly integrate.

I agree and appreciate your constructive approach to this issue. It would of been easy to play the race card the whole video. I can tell you that it goes both ways here with this issue. It is not right to put good and bad apples in one basket, the bad stands out here more than the good.\nI came from an area of very few Indians and been living in an area of high immigration for many years, so I came from a place of no prejudices. Unfortunately, much of what Canadians complain about are true as I experienced it first hand. I won't list this because others have. I absolutely agree that you are ambassadors when outside the home country, as I think the same in my travels. Overall I believe it is a blatant disregard for Canadian culture and laws, and lack of assimilation with Canadians, especially white, that has caused this to be the big part of this divide. I see, hear it, experienced it. I admit it leaves a bitter taste.\nImmigration only works when both parties can blend together and respect one another. Not separate yourselves, segregating others based on predjudices, and sticking to what you are familiar with back home. You came for a better life, but live the same as the past. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

By and large Indians are peace loving people and excel in their fields. I'm 52 years old and a Canadian citizen my whole life. Canada has always been a welcoming country. I have friends from every part of the world here in Canada. But in the couple years there has been a brutal influx of Indians in Canada. My build alone had maybe 3 Indian households. Now more than 60% of the building is indians. And the problem is 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We use to have 1 garbage bin in the basement. Now we have 3 and they are over flowing and they leave garbage everywhere( I've watched them do it). Not everyone has house keys so they leave the security door open all hours of the day allowing criminals to get into the building. They have shit in the laundry room and the garage(I have seen this happen). They smoke in the building halls and lobby. They Dont use laundry detergent when washing their clothes so the laundry machines stink really bad. I have to was the laundry machine before even putting my clothes in.Also they have taken every job in the business in my neighborhood. They aren't very friendly. They come into my restaurant and act like entitled brats and hang out for 6 to 7 hours in groups of 20 and don't tip. They're loud and demanding. Now our regular client's have stopped coming. Since these new Indians have come here they have tainted everything. I have never been a racist individual in my whole life. My family is very diverse. We are white, black, packistan, and Asian. In the last 3 years I am so disgusted in the quality of people that have been coming to this country. The biggest group is Indians. I'm sorry but be don't need any more of these assholes. They can tell you to go back home anytime after pocketing your parent’s life savings. \n\nIt’s easy for them to say go back - what people don’t realize is that if an Indian pays fees in Canadian dollars, they will need at least 15 yrs of earning in Rupees to pay it back. Where it would take only 2-3 yrs in Canada in earn the same amount. \n\nSo basically you ruin your life if you pay fees in CAD and then return to India immediately - you need to stay at least long enough to recover your fees.\n\nAdditionally, Canadian university degrees are not valued in the Indian job market, just the work experience. \nSo best not to pay to study in foreign university if they can’t guarantee 2-3 yrs of work. After that you can always return, it’s actually better.

As a Canadian citizen from an Immigrant background myself, I’m all for Immigration. However, Immigration cannot be coming for the vast majority from a single country, which is India, as per Immigration Canadada own stats, 70% of international students visa were delivered to Indian students, what about the rest of the world ???? Everywhere you go you see indians, dollarama, tim hortons, walmart, and indians are not discrete. That’s why we Canadians have had enough with Indians, this mass immigration specifically from Indians needs to be stopped!
