Honestly everyone is to blame. Canada and Mexico have both been riding the American gravy train for decades and never got slapped by any of the former presidents. And now that a president who puts the US first comes along everyone acts like America and our president is in the wrong. Just because something wrong was allowed to happen for so long that doesn't mean it was right. So two things these tariffs will do to Canada. One your economy isn't exactly stellar right now. Two Trump just has to pump up the pressure further and Canada will fold. It's that simple. As for Mexico they are squarely attached to America's teet. They need us WAY more than we need them. They will fold. And during negotiations we will make them ok US military operations on the Cartels. All people see is the word tariffs and don't think about the strategy behind them. Tariffs are a tool to apply pressure and gain leverage. Canada and Mexico would do the same if they could. So lets stop with the pearl clutching.

It's only a matter of time before America pushes every country right into arms of The BRICS Nations. You can BET THE FARM if Canada and Mexico join BRICS China, Russia, and other countries will be invited to set up shop right on the Rio Grande in the South and Niagara Falls on the Northern border of the United States. Kiwis here I’ve got a question, what happens when they end up in America do they receive a welfare benefit or are they on their own once they get in?

I have had 2 children in Canada, both being a cesarean birth, one head injury where I was in a coma for 3 months, total stay in hospital, 6 months, and had cancer treatment in hospital lasting 2 years, all while being a single father, raising my 2 girls, and I only paid my $58.00 healthcare premium paid 4 times a year, and nothing else. I had supported the deportation of undocumented people with criminals records back to them own country, but Mr T is deporting undocumented people who are working in industries that many Americans will never work, and treating them as criminals, placing them in airplane chained and hand cuffed. Also, a interesting fact is, he is only targeting people from Central America, Brazil, but a lot of undocumented immigrants are from Europe, Asia…maybe because they are not “brown people” like he once said, let us see what will happen when the prices of some services and products start rising, how citizens will react.

There's no economy growth here for the millions of ppl the govt are pure in the country c.a not even have a trillion dollar company in the country, America has give trillion dollar company, that's why America so powerful and can do what they want, I'm saying what or these millions of ppl going to lived on live in the country food prices or through the roof right now it causing one person at least $300 a month so my question is where they going to livd under bridge the govt not building apartments building for the average ppl to lived so what going to happen to the average workers in Ontario, a one bedroom apartment is for $2500 plus light no average ppl can afford it. What even make it worse the govt give apartments owners the right to rase rent $60 a month when no employer paying the average workers $120 a month in Ontario that's why ppl or run out the the apartments building because its impossible for dem to keep up to that kind of rent.

canada should reduce its population by 5 to 8 million so we could have an affordable home, reduce stress on infrastructure, school, hospital, and traffic volume. spend the money on canadians first. don't worry about what happens abroad. don't try to be a saviour or a hero like captain america because we are not.

???My heart is with the immigrants. I am also an immigrant since here in 1991 I was also running away from violence and from the fact that in Mexico in the 70s, 80s and 90s they were killing homosexuals who could not be in the closet like others who could hide their homosexuality. I was able to immigrate because I had a lot of courage, a lot of fear and most of all, helplessness against the country that gave me life, Mexico, where society and presidents always had some double standards, it is unheard of. I owe my life, my dignity and my prosperity to this country, the United States of America. Of course I have not stopped working since I arrived. I am not a rich person but I am an American citizen. I have managed to be part of this beautiful nation, but we cannot demand that this nation give us something where our own country was denied us dignity, to be treated as first class citizens like us in my country and we could not be given that. But well, I hope that these immigrants find the light very soon and that they talk about how badly their own country is treating them, that they say what is happening. Because that is what they should fine or do something so that their own country's government gives them a better life!???
