Everything extremely over priced its not that great its what America has been going through for years just on a larger scale. I would agree\n Canada is on top. My favorite is the acceptance level. In America is a get down on your knees first mentality. It involves a lot of unnecessary proving of ones self before any type of approval can be gained and since the quality of it's people has declined so much this is very dangerous place to be a resident. It is okay if one has a government job else it’s challenging to survive in job market and we are competing with so many students. I am able to achieve the American dream in two years with an average salary( single income) , protect myself and my family with 2nd amendment right. 30yr fixed mortgage rate at 3.0% on a brand new house what Canadians would consider a big home at 2400 sq foot home. My friend lives in White Rock BC......On a recent visit I felt like I was in my old town of Fremint, California.....The majority of people weren't born in North America but from the same area of the globe. We went to eat @ his favorite restaurant and it had changed to Indian cusine. I don't know about Canada but, in the USA they game the government assistance systems and use the funds to import more of their relatives. I don't understand why the USA allows a foreigner even after they become a citizen to bring in their elderly parents and collect Social Security funds when they NEVER worked a day of their lives in the USA or contributed to the system. I saw some colorful journals and green in summer mounds of snow in winter. I had grown up Central Indian Climate. 5 years in England still kept me alienated environ cold weather and Culture. Most disturbing was visible Brown skin foreigners for ever.....at 2nd tier of Society ,..... after getting 4 month Valid visa I started probing fron friends who had earlier migrated to Canada. Living, impediment of long very cold winter, 1970's Canada was still racist and Parliament had strong bill waiting to stop colored immigrants and keep country white...Then in 1975 the Bill was voted down. For the reason that old white generation was aging and demanding Pension and Health Care. Welfare Chest was showing bottom and had to be replenished by tax money. Young tax payers were needed. India, China and Black Carribian were overflowing with young workers...so they had swollow Colored immigrants. Country was the largest but most commercia cities are at border of America, because north is brutal cold. Canada could not build population. 30m (10% of USA.) And Economically behind CA$= 0.80USD. Let the Visa expire...and went back to my old country to Start my Consultancy office. Lived in upper middle class tier and retiring with comfortable cushion to survive . Singapore Airlines is an absolute treat to fly on. I gather in a microcosm, it is interesting to compare Air Canada and Singapore airline or all Nippon airways, with Air Canada. Air Canada is very expensive for a one or two hour flight, not so in Southeast Asia. Air Canada service is horrible, intimidating, and nasty. Singapore airlines and all Nippon airways, is exactly the opposite. Air Canada makes it very difficult for you too make claims on cancelled flights, broken luggage, and breaches of contract. Singapore airlines and other airlines in Southeast Asia go out of their way to advert a claim. The taxes on a ticket with Canada is horrendous, both indirect and direct taxes, in Singapore and all Nippon airways, much more reasonable. I think when you compare to airlines or multiple airlines against Air Canada, Air Canada is a microcosm of economics, workplace normality, and courteousness. Canadians will always say “I am sorry. “but let me assure you for somebody that is both, culturally Asian and Canadian, they don’t mean it a bit. The culture is more passive aggressive than anything else. Canadians are distant, and have a very, very remote education on their own country. I also have to give credit to the Singaporean pilots. There is usually the captain, first officer, and a second officer or two upfront. Excellent training for the up-and-coming first officers and captains. In Canada, of course we don’t do this. I feel at the safety upfront, especially in an IFR environment, is being sacrificed in Canada and North America. cost is everything, will safety seems like it has taken a backseat. Second officers should be mandatory on all Air Canada flights. This is not the case anymore. Also, on a visual approach to hit the button, I would definitely give the Singapore captain the edge. The hands and feet of an air. Canada pilot has deteriorated beyond belief where, if they don’t have their flight management system and auto pilot going in full tilt, they start sweating and second-guessing themselves. I’ve witnessed this many times.

I've lived here my whole life! I've never liked it, and it's only got worse. When I went to Japan I was treated with more kindness, and respect more than Canada! I'm a recording artist, and there are no opportunities to succeed where as America and Japan have more potential for the music industry where as Canada is dead when it comes to the music business! Add in the fact my main source of income is disability from traumatic abuse. It's next to impossible to live, and manage any financial situation here unless you rich already!

Canada brings in many educated professionals to the country but when they arrive, they're unable to get a job. I've heard horror stories of doctors from Latin America who have been told that in order for them to practice medicine in the country, they're required to do further study at a university for between 2-4 years (regardless of English proficiency). Canada clearly doesn't value foreign experience or qualifications.

I’m a Canadian who has been in America since 1998. I can wholeheartedly say I can’t wait to move back to Canada. I feel like I’ve been watching a slow moving train wreck especially the last couple years.

I tried to emigrate from Germany to Canada in late 2022 and already left again after 3 weeks when I experienced the mentioned reasons. Yes we have higher taxes in Germany but the inflation with groceries and rental is less high and I also appreciate the social security system in Germany more again. Videos like yours help me to confirm my decision and close that chapter. I prefer to visit friends in Oregon/USA during vacation as North America experience.

Canadian born citizen here. I am almost done my degree. Once I'm done well I have been saving up for tuition well before starting university so I will pay that in cash and then head out to perhaps the states. I get it that they have the same issues as us but there is definitely room for improvement. You can't progress in Canada like you can in America. The most you will make in Canada is what you are paid for a few years of experience in America. Have several years of experience? You will make double. It's sad to see what it has become but if no decisions are made on the federal level most will have no choice but to go somewhere else.\n\nEdit: I also have family in America that will allow me to stay with them until I get settled as well. Just to give Americans a little context, while we pay taxes to cover doctor or hospital visits and associated costs, we do pay for prescription drugs, dental and vison costs directly. Like in America, many employers offer insurance plans to cover at least some of those expenses. On the other hand, Canada has a serious shortage of medical professionals, largely due to the fact that privatized health care is more lucrative.

Jobs are everywhere but employers know that immigrants are more disciplined, hard working and appreciative of the opportunities provided, when compared to the average Canadian-born citizen. America is a good example, Indians and Pakistanis are the most successful ethnic group, everyone else is behind.
