Many parts of Canada are like living g in a 3rd world country, except most of them have better weather. Nova Scotia must be one of the worst provinces out of all of them.

I guess no one will want to settle in a Western society as there is a lot of stress _ loans, no job fairness, cost of living, drugs, the cost of energy bills, the cost of housing, poor transportation as one has to travel great distances each day to work, no quality family time _ and the way emigrants are not able to carry over their valuable experience or qualifications. Now with social media we have woken up to reality _ home is better even if it is classified by tge Western nation as a developing country. Colonial mindser is hard to iron out?

I am born in Canada and i lived in Montreal's suburb(South Shore like we say here) all my life and i love it but i would never live in big major cities because of increases of crimes, high prices of houses/condo, traffic jam, pollution. \nMy girlfriend from Beijing came here last september for 2 months and she really loved it. She enjoyed the freedom, the many different foods from other countries in restaurants, our culture , the people kindness, beautiful nature and easy living.\nYes we have too free medical health care here in Quebec's province(Sun card ) and i have an excellent medical plan with my employer so i can have acess to private clinics free of charges when it's too long in public hospitals.\nI hate snow and cold long winters since the age of 18 when i had to go out for work or school and i dont like our corrupt goverment but we can vote for a less worst one every 4 years. ?

Lived in T.O. in the 90's. I was in my 20's and living life. What a great city. So much to do right outside your door. BUT, the city gets you. Stuck in the fast paced life, the years fly by it seems. Im a Canadian citizen and I live in Canada for more than 30 years the problem in this country is the government system is not good this is a kind of communist system and it will get worse if the system in Canada is not changed and the thing about having Canadian experience this is a crap and this is a stupidity. People from Canada which they are born there and they have business there they have to allow people and to receive people with their work experience and they shouldn't discriminate other people this is a their mentality and needs to be changed. I lived my whole life in Canada until 2018 when I moved away. Leaving Canada was the best thing I ever did. I miss some aspects, but the country is now an unsustainable playground for the rich.

Pick a winter activity you enjoy to get you out of doors, like hiking, skating, downhill or cross country skiing, snowmobiling or hockey and you will learn to love it and appreciate the change in seasons. The right winter clothing makes it very comfortable. I live in Ottawa and there is a huge Islamic community and population here.

I’m trying hard to understand. I thought when someone goes to a different country to live they accept what that country is about. I’m sad to hear these people say they’re leaving because Canada has some elements that are offensive to them. I though Islam was about acceptance.

As a Jewish “cousin” living in the Southern US, I can definitely appreciate your concerns, especially those related-to the cold, inflation, religious observance, indoctrination, and an over-bearing government…. Assuming that they would be supportive and good role models, are your children’s grandparents still alive? Would living near them be an option? Are any uncles, aunts, and cousins available at any potential locations? Suggestion: Some dear friends sold their dream home and left their long-time friends last year to move across the country to live in a property that they had inherited. These friends eventually admitted that they were MISERABLE in their new location and now (12-14 months later) have returned to their “home state.” Unfortunately, their choices have turned-out to be very “costly” in many ways….. Since your children are involved, you may want to consider giving any potential location a 6-12 month “test run” before making an “official” decision….. Prayers and best wishes as you consider your options!! ❤️

The sad thing is that there are basically only 3 options in Canada for living in an urban area and all the crappy suburbs in the country are filled with people who yearn for that type of living, further contributing to higher demand for these already scarce places to live. There are so many factors that contribute to the absurd costs of living in the country and the lack of incentive to live in places outside the 3 major cities is a huge sticking point. \n\n\nImproving this aspect is going to require massive change on so many fronts (less car-dependent neighbourhoods, denser housing, better public transit, among other things), but people are so resistant and fearful of these changes despite yearning for it that they don't realize their stubbornness is a self-inflicted choke-hold.

The odacity of theses muslims is unbelievable. Imagine living in a country which is not your own culture and expecting the people there to change for you. look at theses 2 living and making money in our country, exploiting our ressources just to bash us after and complaining. The crime rate and violence are much higher in the USA than in Canada. I was born and I live in Montréal very happy and feeling very safe in my city and all over Québec. I don't know to who the Canada bashing is serving. Pretty sad, so much negativity that our country does not deserve.

Your decision comes from a place of priviliage. There are many who can't even if they wanted to. Also, as Canadian passport holders is again a huge privilege. As for Muslims in a third world country, despite their qualifications and talents, can't even move to Madinah even if they're totally desperate to live in the city of the Prophet alayhissalam.

I am very happy that people who dont like Canada are deciding to go back to India, its good for us immigrants who are able to live in peace because we are ready to go through struggle and we like the country. Couple of years ago, people were randomly and blindly coming to Canada without knowing ANYTHING about the country and unfortunately everything was crowded.

There is no uniform successful formula for this type of decision or scenario. It's all 'horses for causes'. You can't go wrong in Dubai. I'm a non Muslim living here and it's the safest country I've ever lived in (as well as Bahrain), wonderful community, so much to do...and oodles of sunshine! It's not all Dubai bling, there are beautiful mountains, deserts, beaches. We never want to leave!

The only thing I agreed with you is the price of housing in large cities. Canada is still a great country if one is willing to work. I maybe living in a cocoon, all my friends and my children’s friends are doing ok with their jobs and finances. The really uneducated and uninspired would suffered just like in any other country. Canada is not perfect, but I rather be here than anywhere else. Btw, I am 70 years old and have been here for 60 years.

This is a great message to all foreigners. Go back where you belong, live amongst your own beautiful people and enjoy your own culture in your own lands. Ironically these folks seem like nice, reasonable, respectable people. That they mentioned the drag story hour proves they are good folks. Its the dregs and welfare recipients that will stay forever. He's right the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip shouldn't be forced to leave their land that has been theirs for a very long time. Even though the Israeli government removed the Jews from the Gaza Strip against their free will in 2005, who had lived in the Gaza Strip for long time themselves. In 2006 a year later the Hamas came into power by killing off their opponents and rivalry. We don't want the Gaza or even the West Bank to become another Syria where millions of Syrians were forced from their homes and country because of the Civil War going there. You should consider moving to another country. Quite simply, it's a viable option. I know if it disliked the country I was living in, I would stronly consider relocation. Please surrender your passport on the way out.

Canada is not a Muslim majority country. It was founded on Christian values and traditions. There are 48 Muslim majority countries in the world. If you want to live 'like a Muslim' then moving to one of those countries IS a better option. I commend you choice...good luck.

Outstanding news, I've always seen Islam as one of the biggest threats to Western civilization, progressive left wing ideology a close second. Hopefully the trend continues for Islamic emigration such that we only have the one issue to deal with in future! This is the right order of things, people that believe in Sharia should live in one of the many countries that believe in Sharia. It's a big world, there should be a place where each of us can live, safely, free from persecution.
