This is the all true allover western countries people are program like robot even here in Holland and Belgium, discrimination, police injustice, lack of respect for your colour and your Africa diploma's is just the same. We had been misused and missed educated till now many African heads of government officials are still blind and deaf. Everyday millions of your colour drowned in the Mediterranean sea some are killed by Moroccan police but nobody says anything or a single word about it. My advice is if you have any money with your slave certificate to start your life back home better than to relocate and register as a new slave in the Western world. It's totally the same, some of them don't want to tell the truth. But is like jumping off the frying pan to the ? fire better the devil you know than the one you don't know at all. Relocating from the western countries is not as easy as people think especially with children . It is far better to relocate to the Africa continent ?? now before it's too late.

Canada is the same like the UK, it's not easy , life is hard.

I’m not defending the government in any way, but it’s easy to come into Canada with false credentials and shady people have done it, so the honest, hard working people are paying the price for that. I feel for them, but it’s very difficult for an employer to have to “weed out” someone who gave them a fake Electrician’s Licence for example. And it’s dangerous to simply take someone’s word for it who claims to be an experienced Surgeon. A coworker of mine told us about a place in the Philippines where they will sell you a counterfeit diploma from any University you choose. So ya, it is what it is.

Canadians don't pay much more than Americans in taxes. Infact, the taxes for rich Americans is higher than for equivalent incomes in Canada. However, Canadians get much more from their government than Americans. I think the reason why Nigerians complain in Canada is because the initial process of getting documents and setting down is too easy in Canada, so when they settle down to work and realize that they actually have to work hard to pay for the goodies, they begin to complain

When you make things too easy for Nigerians they begin to complain about how bad things are. What many don't know and wasn't reported in this video, is that Ukraine doesn't want too many people leaving to Canada. There is a fear that if people settle in Canada, they will stay and not return and help in he rebuilding of Ukraine. Accepting Refugees on mass is a huge undertaking, it is not as simple as opening the doors and letting people in. Where are the people to go, someone has to support them and that all requires huge amounts of coordination. Last I saw, Canada had a housing crisis where it has been difficult for Canadians to find affordable housing... how are Refugees supposed to do better?? It is easy to open the doors, it is a lot harder to get them settled.... but we have to try and try hard to make it work.

The houses have shitty materials compared to my original country, and you simply can’t built by your own and that’s why every price rises.\nAnother issue you didn’t mention it’s there is no scholarships, it’s incredible expensive to get a proper education like university, and even so, they no offered scholarships. In Mexico almost everyone can reach the opportunity to study to be anything (lawyers, doctors) AND there is why you can get professional services everywhere. Here in Canada the business never have profesional services (like a real Human Resources, who studies for 5 years to be the best influence in a company, or a real engineering taking care of the machines in a plant. Canada only hire the cheap hand to avoid paying and I can understand it, but if more people could study more money moves in the country.\nAnother issue is there is not any public transportation into the cities or provinces, so if you don’t have a car, a driver license (it’s not easy to get one) and pay the super expensive insurance (it’s incredible 10 times more expensive than in Mexico) your can’t move from the place you are. Because of the weather you simply can’t move in a bike.\nPeople live just for pay rent, buy some groceries and buy some pre owned cloths in the thrift store.\nAnother problem it’s many rules to open a small bussines (like selling some food) \nHealth care it’s not exactly free: you need to pay for your prescriptions out of the hospital or if you never been hospitalized. And it’s very expensive to pay for them. Life in Canada is not easy nor happy life as you thought especially for those whom come with nothing it will be very hard and will be struggling to make the end needs . Garbage money laundry country, I didn't pick Canada never knew it existed, my parents choice it for me , cold 11 months of the year depressing country I was investment Banker HSBC and standard Chartered Bank now im driving trucks on minimum wage , I always wanted to move to TX CA AZ good life easy money sunshine states but college was expensive 90$ grand a year , im paying 900 for a room in mississauga now

However if you are coming from a different culture it’s not easy. But with effort you can mix with your new society.\nDon’t expect the same culture or surroundings though. I stayed in New York for a year. For the first time I understood why Americans are so addicted to work and why so many are on anti depressant medication. Work numbs the pain and dread of loneliness and isolation. New York has a population of 14 million people get its so easy to feel all alone there. I came back Africa and never looked back.

I can agree with these comments if your not American, growing up we had all that interaction with family, friends and neighbors. Life n times have changed in America due to gun violence, especially in large cities. Socializing is different in every state in America and in every country. I can understand how if your not accustomed to our ways of life even today, that you would prefer your ways of living back in your hometown and your Country. If you live in a big City in America and moved there from a smaller town in America, you will be feeling some loneliness, that's normal to us in America. If your American then you adjust to making n meeting new people, that hasn't been so easy with the pandemic for anyone. To compare our homes in one community from another or even from another country, is just criticism. We don't have a specific way of living, as far as our homes are constructed. This is how as American's we have always lived, small homes, large homes, big cities, small towns. Since the pandemic we do find ourselves spending more time inside due to no fault of our own. We do have different ways of living but so do other countries which we do enjoy when we visit. If you want to learn more about America and our lifestyles and history, you should do that. Every Country has it's government rules n law's and we try to abide by them, that's what makes our Country n Our Nation Great, that's also why many people come here to visit or work and study. Loneliness can be anywhere, depending on the person you are and reaching out to make new friends or just acquaintances is important. Especially, if your away from friends n family from home or a different Country. ✌️

Another issue is that some white families have sold off or abandoned their family homes in once vibrant community's because they have refused to live with other people of color who happen to move in. Then black communities build up over say 50 to 75 years a great community, their own churches , schools, day cares, playground, crime watch and near jobs and easy transportation suddenly others with money wish to expand in those same areas. So taxes go up. Fire insurance goes up. Schools are closed down due to so called lack of budgets. Factory's move out farther. And or new higher technologies come in only looking for a few or certain type of trained skilled workers with higher educational degree's. All of these complex events cause the death of a functional great long standing community. By the time others come and say hey, where are the kids, where is the small local business and the great gardens, farmer markets or book clubs, libraries, community workshops, and black church's giving out food? Trust me its not such a simple answer. Many many other forces are at play. Entire sections of the city and rural areas have gone through displacement.

I am an Indian and I have lived in sweden for 4 years. It is more or less the same. I tried calling people for food but most of them never showed up or had no Interest. I am glad I left and return back to my country. Everything in moderation makes sense to me. If money is important then so is your culture, food and family that brings comfort to you. In the developing world, you will generally find people more friendly and welcoming. It is easy to get around with people. But not so in the west.

Quietly homeownership will disappear over the next 25-50 yrs. Big business will own most homes in big city. The rich will make sure they have control more and more, farmers will lease/rent the land and homes will be rented. Only big business will be able to pay the maintenance and taxes on buildings and land soon and also right it off. Just wait until the next big recession when many lose pensions, jobs, investments, and bitcoin crashes. Not only will it be dual income families instead of single income nowadays…it will be 2 families in homes, quadruple income and working until they are 65 or even 70….trudeau smiles and pretends he will fix everything while Canadians suffer more and more. If you have a chance to sell and then buy in a safer community, do it now because if you have not noticed a lot more homeless and vanlifers yet, or occupied camper trailers in friends and families driveways then you will notice soon, try and buy where crime is less of an issue while homes are easy to buy and sell.

Most of the USA is an empty suburban wasteland. It's very easy to get lost there, all places look the same: a Walmart here, a taco Bell there, parking lots everywhere. Absolutely no pedestrians, not even sidewalks in many places. Very depressing car-centered paranoid lifestyle. Not for me at all.

I've grown up in suburbs all my life, when I was a kid I would play outside with other children, but I do not see this happening now with the children of this day. I too now spend almost all of my time indoors, it has become increasingly easy to live like this. My neighbors are the same way, nobody knows each others names in the neighborhood. I am very grateful for the immense comfort and privilege that my background has provided for me, but you come to realize that American culture is gross and inhuman, materialistic and plastic, very lonely. I long to see the other ways of life on this planet when I have the means to travel\n\nIn the last 15 years especially, the westerners (at least in North America) have all retreated to their caves, their eyes fixated on the shadows on the walls of the cave. Reality passes them by and they waste their life, the most they can hope for to ease the loneliness is a friendship over Discord (but in the end this only contributes to them spending more time indoors). \n\nNorth Americans are moving towards a never ending stream of escapism through consumerism. First it was TV, then video games, next is virtual reality. They will be enveloped in a 24/7 stream of hyperreality, forever overstimulated and oblivious to the real world.
