the city will become unliveable as all these condos and tall buildings will be less friendly and poluted

Good need less of them
2023-11-07 0
I'm looking to leave this place too. Pay more for less....

not necessarily a bad thing, less demand for housing. I see this as a significant development!

Most Canadians will be much less hospitable to Palestinians after this past month. Sikhs are not endearing themselves to Canadians either by bringing their old tribal feuds with them.

Close our border. Period! Until that WORD gets out they will keep coming. Our government needs to follow our immigration laws. If they need to be changed then pass laws to change them. Anything less is unconstitutional.

The government always scream about climate change being a threat to humanity, but somehow they always see to forget about CO2 production when they bring in half a million immigrants a year from much warmer and less industrialized countries, knowing full well that these immigrants will produce way more CO2 here than if they has stayed home. Climate change is just a scam to tax Canadians even more while pretending that they are doing it for us.

Who in the hell would now want to immigrate to Canada ? Outrageous housing costs which consume most of your income . One has to work at least two to three jobs just to try to keep from completely drowning economically . A healthcare system which is on life support . It is next to impossible to get a doctor . Emergency waits times at hospitals can range from 4 to 24 hours . Traffic from hell in all of the major cities .... particularly Toronto , Montreal and Vancouver . The crushing cost of living . A political leader who is a complete fool who has basically destroyed the country in just 8 years . As if all of this wasn't bad enough ...... 5 months of winter from hell . Living in Canada is now an extreme struggle in every way imaginable . One will always struggle . One will always work like a dog . One will very likely fall into extreme debt in Canada just to survive . One has to pay outrageous taxes on their income leaving them with about 50% of what they actually earn after they have paid all of the combined taxes on everything that they buy or services that they use . Forget about ever being able to save money . Incomes are about about 35% less than other advanced than those in other advanced countries for the same skilled job . One will never own a home . One will never be able to start a family . One will always freeze in the winter . Life in Canada has become an absolute hell . The Canadian dream is as dead as dead can be . It is no longer a country where one can earn a decent living , own a home and live a good life . On top of all of this it has an authoritarian government which keeps passing new laws to reduce free speech and civil rights .

Those who are less ready to hard work... Leaving..
2023-11-05 0
Nobody wants to do the real hard jobs paying less. Everybody wants to be high paid professionals. Professional jobs are limited and sometimes limited artificially by interest groups such as college of physicians.

Bye ppl. Less immigrants the better

Immigrants interviewed by March Leger, showed that less than 2% that are not planning to seek canadian citizenship. These are their reasons:\n\nHigh cost of application.\nRampant immigration from regressive culture countries.\nExcessive government taxing.\nNeeds private healthcare system along side universal system.\nBetter health care in home country.\nBecoming a communist country.\nJustin Trudeau.\nNo significant differences between citizenship and PR.\n\nThese reasons for not seeking citizenship are personal and nuanced from their experiences in our country. I hope some day Canada is great for all of those who live here.

People are slow, indecisive, risk adverse, Canadian wannabe exceptionalism, no economy, no strive… It’s a far less violent but extremely lazy and slow version of the US

Supply and demand. Immigrants have to share with us and each other. The more of them there is, the less there is to go around. Housing is less affordable in Canada than it is in any European county besides 3. Basically we are now kinda borderline not a first world nation anymore, and of course any immigrants who came for economic reasons will be looking for greener pastures.

tried to get funding from WorkBC for a program.....the lady with an east indian accent told me they prefer to give funding for people who have disabilities and immigrants only....as a born and raised tax paying Canadian i was perplexed by the people i pay with my taxes would treat me as though i'm not even worth being treated like way less important than people who are not even paying into the program im applying for

Can you help me with the link or process of application? you know how nijja is na,the more you look the less you see,I am desperate to yapa please help!
2023-11-04 0
Well they can all go…no one is stopping them…it’s much better…more available jobs…fewer traffic…fewer people…more room to breath…I hope more is leaving…less people cheaper accommodations…and everything…the sooner they leave…the better for Canada.
2023-11-04 0
How can they afford to leave? My family moved to Canada in 2006 and we wanted to leave, but the departure taxes would have left us with less than half of what we had earned.
2023-11-03 0
Why?…let’s see. Taxed like there’s no tomorrow for less and less services, infrastructures crumbling, if you want to get some service from municipal, provincial or federal employees you have to go through hoops of red tape, high costs on everything because there is lack of competition ( airlines, cell phones, internet…), every time there is a project for building something it ends up costing more at the end, people not working getting money for free from the very generous pm just before the elections, a Quebec government that imposes idiotic language laws when there are more urgent things to take care of (for example, how about taking care of those families that can’t afford breakfast for their kids before they go to school)…I could go on, but it’s pretty useless because all the incompetents that are in charge probably can’t read. They lack pride and they don’t care. So yeah, there’s a few reasons to leave Canada..

Some systems may be on par to ours, others might have much lower standards. What happens if we lower standards? People will die. Then anyone who seems like they are from somewhere else will be seen by most as less skilled and less trustworthy. If you were trying to create systemic racism that would be how you might do it.

There are more benefits to being an immigrant in Canada, than a citizen lol. The government of Canada treats its citizens like they’re less than dirt (how they unjustly treated the people of the Freedom Convoy, is a perfect example of that)… ever since the liberals have taken power.
2023-11-03 0
That is great news to hear. Hope it continues to rise and less Immigrants come here.
2023-11-03 0
They think that's bad Try being a born Canadian We get less than they do

Not having welcoming committees is definitely not a significant issue. The economy, increased emphasis on MAID (i.e. death) over extensive medical care, and the new sociopolitical atmosphere of hating immigrants to Canada from the 16th century onward are definitely major factors. When people were encouraged to come and work in numerous professions all across Canada for centuries, it was not difficult to retain immigrants. The virtues of hard work and supporting your family were valuable treasures, but now there is much less emphasis (even some discouragement) concerning these things today. I am praying for our nation to turn itself around.

A majority of tradesmen and labourers are set to retire in the next 5 years so immigration will definitely benefit Canada as a whole. It will create economic growth and also fill the giant gap in the labour force due to the boomer gen retiring (they make up 70 percent of the laboir force) and a younger population who are becoming less interested in labour intensive jobs. .

The problem is very serious, on the one hand they let in people who are not contributing and giving added value to the country, quite the opposite, and on the other hand Canada has fallen far behind countries like Germany, France, Spain or the US , When bringing qualified people for specific fields, what is the difference, two things first, the ridiculous Canadian experience, is nonsense, the other even more ridiculous, the paths for recognition of all types of credentials do not even match the needs of the country and less than when those laws were created, they are completely out of reality, the paths were created by a person without the slightest vision, the aforementioned countries never ask for experience and the path to recognize credentials is easy, above all fast and practical, that is delaying Canada!! and it is leaving it very far from what it was, with so many good professionals who do not work in their area thanks to the terrible policies. \nThe result, true professionals go where it suits them best.

Good example of going to fast and thinking immigrants fix things. As immigrants come to invest instead of living here. More mixing more problems. Should we all move to a better place and fill it up and then the same thing happens look at USA loosing there identity .\nIf you want education sure but leave after and do better for your home. Less trade and do more for are selves canada ? \nBalance is everything not money

The government could try to incentivise families to have more children. Canada like most Western nations has a low birthrate that does not replace itself, therefore immigration is needed to fill in the population gaps. So long as couples have one child or less, the government will have to turn to immigration. A declining population would devastate the economy. Don't believe the hype that not having kids is a favour to your country, it's not, they'll just import others.

Cause its boring asf and life is just work and go home till youre in your 60s. People coming here realize that they make less money in their home countries but it also lasts them longer and they can actually enjoy life.
2023-11-03 0
Also, the immigrants have destroyed better wages, as they are willing to work for less. Transportation sector hourly wages went way down. 10 years ago a DZ driver could easily make $28-30 an hour. Now he is lucky to get $24.
2023-11-03 0
when construction workers get paid less and less money there is no incentive to break your body for a meaningless wage and have to use a completely worthless healthcare system. if alberta doesnt leave this protocommunist heap of dung known as canada i will be going to a sane country as soon as possible , im 28 and have gained nothing by living in this disgusting freakshow of a country
2023-11-03 0
waiting For Canadian Passport . i will go back too . High tax , High rent and Less income ...
2023-11-03 0
Because Canada sucks that's why. The government takes 30-50% of your pay check, wastes it, and what you're left with barely covers essential goods and a crappy house that would be half the price virtually anywhere else, if not less.

We came from many oppressed coutries, then years later see that our country changed, to something closer to what where we came from...So sad.\nDecades later, some previously oppressive coutries cleaned up their act, and people are moving back there, because Canada is now less free than there.
2023-11-03 0
The more rights and freedoms we lose the less people will want to stay in a failing state pushing socialism/communist values.
2023-11-03 0
who the heck thought it was smart to use 2021 data for immigration retention stats? Of course less immigrants would stay during a year where the job markets were down
2023-11-03 0
I’m Canadian and I work with lots of immigrants because the government pays half their wage. My boss gets cheap labour and we work them hard. Most quit in less than a month but there are always lots more!! I love it.
2023-11-03 0
not just immigrants, Canadians are tired of seeing our country sold out to an evil upper class, time to move to a less classist and corrupt country ...
2023-11-03 0
Europe has less opportunity to grow and there is a limit as well especially when you have to learn a new language... Sometimes it's a waste of time...
2023-11-03 0
the less people the better
2023-11-02 0
Gosh Canada sucks big time.... but you girls are fine thou ...am single less chat \n.

Hmmm not surprising Trudeau took over at the end of 2015 and Canada's Immigration Retention index placing dropped from 9th in 2016 to 15th in 2021! But of course it's the best talented ones that have something to offer that will leave and we're being overrun with less skilled ones from 3rd world countries that Trudeau lets in by the hundreds of thousands helping him turn this country into a disaster. We need to get back to less immigration and more selective with high skilled immigrants more compatible with our society like Europe, US, Commonwealth countries.
2023-11-02 0
Good. Less pressure on housing demand so hopefully the price will drop.
2023-11-02 0
Best news in a long time if it were actually true because we’re just too full and don’t have the infrastructure to sustain things. Made my day. Maybe less fighting in the streets etc.

Maybe less immigrants its a glut, overflow

My colleague told me how he recently went to near Toronto Science Center were they use to live. Demography changed completely. He is Ukrainian/Jewish and he was so afraid in local Goodwill by how now locals looked at him, he has to leave. And despite anyone origin, our children have no future with Canada ripoff culture. It is much cheaper to send child to Europe for university than paying for so-so university in Toronto, with insane rental rates. One bedroom apartment in German/Belgium is twice less to rent than in Toronto.
2023-11-01 0
If they want to go,then go. If you don't want to be here then don't come here. It's that simple. Less immigrants means more jobs for Canadians. It's not complicated lol.
2023-11-01 0
We need less not more.
