Welcome to the party of those who thought Canada is actually is an advanced country LOL. Everything is currently broken: Rent is off the roof, houses are completely unfordable (whether getting a down payment, or actually paying mortgages of 350000 minimum in Montreal for instance/~2500 per month). Pharmacy shelves for basic stuff like Advil are empty and some people need to drive to the US to get their kids fever and pain medication. What you talked about here is the healthcare crisis which was the first one I noticed and all of that is true. And to add insult to injury, they're increasing taxes this year in a country where more than ever people are going to food banks to get well... FOOD... what a fucking joke. I'm working on my return and can't wait to take my one ticket back to my country, Canada is not worth it anymore and highly advise anyone considering to come here to re-consider whether it's worth it to live in a cold country, highest taxes rate, far away from your family, for basically NOTHING in return.

Our healthcare system is not doing well. Average wait time to get a family doctor in my city is TWO AND A HALF YEARS. You can go to a walk in clinic or emergency room for free, but if you need ongoing medication or a lot of other things clinics can't do for you, you're screwed.

once you're past 25 or unless you're going to school, get out of the major cities no matter where you are. *edit* you guys live in the nicest major city in Canada, and yes, the women there are on another level(for the NA average).

I think you ladies are way out in left field and you really don't know what you're talkin about. Unfortunately for some people it doesn't work out for whatever reason usually because they do not want to assimilate very well. I grew up in Ontario to a french-canadian father and an Italian mother in my life in Canada was so perfect said if I had to dream up a better life I could not have done so. I grew up playing all the sports and enjoyed all the different sports and the changes of seasons. My parents had a summer home on the st-lawrence river and every summer we water-ski swam fished, play golf in the morning and barbecues every night right on the water. Even though my grandfather was in the hotel business I was all about sports and enjoying everything about it. I grew up in a town of about 50 thousand about 40 miles from Montreal. When I wanted some great nightlife just drove a short drive to Montreal and it had everything did anyone could want in Nightlife. I have lived in United States for forty years and I can tell you that it really isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Heaven forbid should you get some kind of catastrophic illness you are screwed. I knew a woman who work for travelers insurance for 30 years at the best insurance a money could buy had suffered a couple of strokes and was on the verge of going broke had she not died when she died. People think that insurance continues to pay his long as you're ill and nothing could be further from the truth. This lady was going to have to sell her house to continue paying for round-the-clock care had she not died when she did. United States middle class is getting wiped out. I've seen enough poverty and hardship in this country to last a lifetime. I find greed to be running rampant in this country. When I grew up in Canada there was always the grass is greener on the other side and when I did move over to the other side the US that is I can tell you unequivocally the dead grass is not greener on the other side. There are more millions and millions of people here that are one or two paychecks away from being homeless. And we're talkin 2023. Now let's talk about violence. There is a mass murder in the United States every single day of the year. And a mass murder is defined by four or more people being killed by one person at one time. Killing these so out of control in the United States that now even six-year-olds are shooting their teacher. I find a tremendous amount of built-up Anger from people. Food is very expensive and shelter is also out of control and non affordable to most people. Again I find United States being able to paint a much Rosier picture then does really exist. And there are more con artists and thieves , Crooks, con-artists, bamboozlers, cheats and scammers then anywhere that I've ever been. And I will say this is it it ain't getting any better and I don't see it ever getting better. I find it is everybody out for themselves no matter who they cheat. I live in Southern California and I can tell you that night life where I live is non-existent. Understand that LA and Hollywood they always have to glamorize everything to sell it to tourists. Just remember that things today are not what they were 40 years ago. Middle-class people in Canada would also be just middle-class people in the US. But if your life means anything to you as far as safety and raising a family then Canada wins hands down end of discussion. People that say Canada is boring is because they are boring. That's what I found to be pretty standard across the board. Life is what you make of it. But I will say that you gals definitely need to move away if you don't like Canada. Do not let the door hit your ass on the way out. And just for your information Canada ranks annually as one of the top countries in the world to immigrate to. Canada is the second largest country in the world by land area and next to Saudi Arabia has the third largest oil Reserves in the world. Canada has huge amount of freshwater which most of the rest of the world seems to be lacking and having spent my Summers on the Saint Lawrence River one of the Great Rivers in this world. I wouldn't change my twenty years in Canada for anyplace else in this world and I will be moving back shortly.

I know it's not 100% safe in Canada. I've watched Murdoch Mysteries! ???\n\nYeah, when I moved to a city city, I saw the segregation. I grew up in a small town. I was friends with everyone. We didn't have a lot Indians and Africans though sadly. In school, with the exception of Asians, unless you're going by specific country, there was a token (poc) for each ethnicity in all the classes until roughly Junior high. So sad. We got rid of segregation in the south, but we didn't get rid of segregation in the country.

Only register in Sate Colleges, that are accredited. Don't come unless you're fluent in English. Do not attend a for profit college. Be responsible for your education; visas are not applicable to non-English speakers. Go to legitimate schools. You'll not get a job from Canada, nor employers. India is responsible for much. If you don't understand this, stay in Punjab.

I live in the States. Our public transportation is shit. If you don't have a car, you're not going anywhere and I hate it. Gang violence is bad in large cities. Stay away. Your best bet is to find an area with a couple hundred thousand or less and lower taxes.

I guess I can't really relate to some of your experience in the states because I live in Indiana which I don't have to tell you is much different from New York and California just based on where it's located geographically and it not being a big name state. But over here there is a lot of inter mingling amongst all races. Like my work place for example, we have about an equal spread of white/black/hispanic people that work there and we're all just chill about it, everyone just gets along and we don't really clique up based on skin color. It's not obsolete as is with anywhere, but it's nowhere near the degree in which you described in LA. We don't have a fuck ton to do down here, but we have enough to where it's not a negative factor. And anybody will just talk to anyone about anything really, similar to how you described New Orleans. Plus compared to the bigger cities our cost of living really isn't bad at all here in Indianapolis. We do have a spacing issue like with many states, where you're looking at a 2 hour drive if ya boy lives in Fort Wayne but we just have a fuck ton of interstates that take you anywhere you need to go to make up for it. It's cheaper to live in Dallas Texas than Montreal, which is one of the cheapest cities to live in Canada, so I don't know where you're getting lower cost of living (and yeah I heard you're trying to compare apples to apples, but this is impossible and honestly, wtf would someone want to live in a crime ridden city like NYC? You can't compare Montreal to LA lol. LA is 3.8 million people and LA county is 9.8 million. Montreal is 1.8 and the entire Province of Quebec has less population than that single county by more than a million people. \n\nGo to Jefferson County Kentucky. Louisville is a similar size population and you're looking at a drastically lower cost of living. \n\nOf course LA is super expensive. You were right when you said the US is like 50 different countries. But you don't have to go to super rural areas to find low costs of living.

Like you said in the beginning of the video, the US really is like 50 different countries. Your experiences are so vastly different depending on where you are. Obviously there’s rude people everywhere, but I live in the Northeast, and people are especially douchy in this part of the country. Like, you gotta be on high alert because things can go from 0 to 100 real quick. One minute you’re at a stop light, the next you got someone following you into a parking lot threatening you because they had a rough day at work. While you should not binge WebMD for days before seeing a doctor, there is a telehealth number to call. They're pretty good at diagnosing without even being able to see it, but pictures can be sent from what I understand.\nAnd, the pharmacist knows far more than the doctors. My wife was prescribed something by her doctor. She went to her pharmacist to fill the prescription. The pharmacist outright refused to fill that, and called the doctor asking why a prescription was made for something that will most definitely not work with another prescription she's already on.\n\nSo, go to a pharmacist and call the telehealth before going to a walk-in or ER, unless blood is spilling or person's unconscious.

You're not correct about the Quebec government banning the hijab - actually they ban all forms of religious expression in clothes worn at work by public servants - so don't criticize us unless you get the facts straight. Taxes, well most countries require you to file your own taxes at the end of the year - what's so strange about that? You are 100% correct about the housing crisis, listen it's been going on everywhere for decades, and international investors in the past 10 years or so woke up and noticed that Canada was a great bet for investment, so the problem got really bad. The government just passed a 2 year moratorium on non Canadians buying real estate - as have many other countries, so fingers crossed no more new foreign landlords just regular Canadians buying their first homes, let's hope so!! I've lived many years in Europe - and I loved it! But the quality of life in Canada is better. If you don't live in the crowded city you can have a nice property with lots of space, good roads, not bad school system, very friendly and helpful people. I thought Canada is a developed and first-world country like European countries, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, News Land, and Singapore with the western standard, and also I thought is one of the best. The first time 2018 I arrived in Vancouver, I was shocked. I saw a lot of homelessness, trash, crime, ugly urbanism, and rusty houses in downtown and east Vancouver. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022I decided to move to the east coast because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception.

As someone that grew up in Quebec, I have strong objection to it being ranked the best. Unless you're a native French speaker, you're not going to have a great time there.

We are well aware who's in the Canadian government and why they're doing such a tremendous job of destroying this country. We saw what they did to our truckers and what they're doing to the farmers in the Netherlands. What they're doing to the US, what they're doing to New Zealand, Australia, Europe the list goes on and on. Please stop making Canada sound like 'the frozen north'. Any educated person knows that this is a 'Seasonal' country. Our summers reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times and we can actually sunburn while sun tanning on these days. We water-ski, swim, boat and sail, golf, gold-pan, hike, bicycle, Motorcycle, camp, picnic, fish, sky-dive, drive, shop, tap for Maple syrup and thoroughly enjoy our Springs and Summers like any other normal person and country. Our Autumn's are glorious as leaves turn crimson and gold, with picking all kinds of fresh fruit, canning jars of produce, carving pumpkins for Hallowe'en, making and tasting wines. Our Winters, loved, with some of the best ski resorts in the world; skating rinks--Our skaters won Gold in the Olympics and some of the best Hockey teams, who have also won Olympic Gold, come from Canada. We still toboggan, go on sleigh rides, ice swim, build snowmen and make the occasional Snow Angel, just for fun. We have learned to deal with winter snows--they're called Snowplows, which are abundant and whose operators are extremely efficient! AND, we have miles and miles and miles of uninhabited land--a rare treasure now-a-days! We are Canadian and we love it!!????

Don't move to Canada, it's to expensive to live here. Hydro, Car insurance, Cell phone, Gas for your car, Food, Housing. And the taxes are out of this world. Health care is not free! No matter what anyone tells you, you may not pay up front but you'll pay three times as much through your taxes. The Gov't keeps on cutting services but our taxes keep going up! Come for a visit, yes you're always welcome but there are better places to live cheaper.

There are $35 phone plans & you can use public transportation & skip car insurance and maintenance. US inflation is worse off than Canada\n\n4 - There are so many things to do in Canada, it’s just not in your forte. Outdoor activities in both winter & summer\n\n5 - Cry me a river!\n\n6 - SMH\n\n7 - Leaving Canada to go back to where you’re unsafe, unsteady power supply & almost non-existent healthcare?\n\n8 - It’s a huge trade-off, I left Canada 9 months ago to the West Coast of the US & couldn’t stop talking about escaping sub zero temperatures BUT putting everything on the table, Canada works out best for & I’m looking forward to moving back. \n\n9 - Which countries does Canadian passport allow you to live & work in?\n\n10 - This I agree, it’s a high regulated society & it could be a turn off.\n\n11 - False! In a country where 37.5 hours is considered fulltime? How many federal holidays does Canada have? If you’re working 10 jobs to stay afloat, that’s absolutely on you, it’s not a “Canadian issue”.

If Nigerians don't like the cold weather in Canada, then why don't these Nigerian Canadians go to the U.S or Western Europe where it's warmer ? They could move to Canada and then move again to the U.S. Immigrate and then re-immigrate.

@CitImmCanada -I came to Canada in 2018 , paid my Tutiom fees working day and night offf , completed my graduation in 2020.I worked as manager in gas station from 2020-2022 during pandemic putting my life on risk , you guys first messed your immigration system during pandemic,after pandemic you got this absurd system of TR2PR , messed up your own system , in which there are Still millions of files pending , then you guys stopped the immigration for 1 year, still I thought it would get better with the time. When the immigration started back in this July the scores were so high that only PHD and people outside Canada with 0 canadian skills can only get the PR. You guys then gave visas to Afghanis , Ukrainians (the fake humanitarian help your government provides )which I don’t mind but the government should have fixed the people who are and we’re here , who came as students , who has all the details of the individuals , has all the experience needed , has all the potential needed to start the career , has 0 criminal record but no you guys keeps getting new and messed up plans. like seriously this country and system is run by this type of people. I am gonna be going back to my country soon as I don’t wantt to stay now in Canada. The coming 10 years will be a disaster if your government and people won’t WAKE UP!!!!

Most Canadian citizens & the immigrants in Canada after getting Canadian PR using it as a gateway to America, they're actually moving to a better country like USA America. Not going back to their home countries like India, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Nigeria, Romania, Greece, Ukraine, Phillipines, Vietnam, Venuzvela, Colombia etc.. Most either move to US apply for a work visa & Green Card for citizenship. Or if they're 'money minded' & highly skilled in demanded professions, they move to Dubai, Kuwait, Doha Qatar, all the Middle East GCC Gulf countries, where they earn twice the money in Gulf, than they might earn in USA, like Surgeons, Doctors, Software Engineers, IT etc

I'm sure you are living a better life than when you were living in Africa. You sound like you wanted to come to Canada to become a millionaire. Sorry my friend it's not like that. You can't expect to come here and get everything free... Was it better when you were in Africa? If you can't adjust to Canada's lifestyle then join those who have decided to leave and see how easier life can be. If you want a better lifestyle be advised that nothing is free these days. And you sound like you want everything for free. If that's what you want, then you should catch the next plane and go where you think it's better and you can get things free.... We're you living better while you were in Africa? Canada didn't ask you to come and reside here... you volunteered to migrate to Canada so you can't expect to get everything free. You MUST adjust yourself accordingly. And if you're bored with Canada's lifestyle, then go live in the United States and see if you can get things free as you are expecting. I do watch many videos about the topic. First of all there's no place like home. As a human we will have tendency to resist to change. Choosing to leave a country whatever the reason will always be hard, you left a culture, family and so many good things. Diversity in a country like Canada is a good thing sometimes because somewhere somehow you find link to home. Imagine as a French Canadian like I am, I am consider as an immigrant in my own country. The natives came first from Asia, English took over the country which left us with no country we can call home. Many immigrants will say that French is an obstacle and don't understand why we need laws to keep it, we took our place following negotiations with the native not by conquest and always need to fight to keep that space because we're not making babies anymore and do need immigration like the rest of the country. That being said it brings the sensitive topic of jobs. There's types of jobs you do need Canadian experience, in Canada the construction codes are different from even a region versus another one. Do you know that St-Lawrence river is sitting on a tectonic plate and you need to construct a building which can resist a earthquake? What Canada need to do because we do lack of people on those job, is to provide fast track to help them having Canadian experience. They don't need anatomy courses, human here are pretty much the same but they need to know what medication is legal in Canada. Finally, all is on setting expectations, don't expect to feel at home in here, it take in average 3 generations to really feel at home, so be ready to feel pushed aside, be ready to live in a area where you will find mostly people of common cultural background. You will feel left over and pretty much alone. The only solution to be happy in here is embrasse change, go out of your comfort zone, embrace the local culture, talk to people from different backgrounds. There's a difference between multi cultural and integration. Sharing is caring, share your culture and your food, and most of all don't think you have the best way of life and other people don't understand. When you think everyone is wrong is usually a sign that you're the one who is wrong. Racism weirdly don't have a culture, a race or a religion, it's individual.

This is going to result in lacking health services for elderly Canadians that have paid in all their lives and now are going to need it. Wait times are insane, the last 2 times my girlfriend went to the ER she waited hours only to be told to go home without being seen by a doctor and we’re supposed to be happy with adding a million people every 2 years? If you're bringing in more immigrants, remove the damn red tape that prevents them from working in their specialized field (doctors, nurses, etc.). You need to redo your video, dude! You underplayed Alberta and overplayed Quebec and Ontario. Alberta was the only province to keep its books balanced during Trudeaus tyrannical reign of covid and crime is wayyyy lower than others. Also, yes it is an oil province but it was squashed by Ottawa and still came out on top. It's better living for families, jobs vary in high paying between the two main cities and the people are very down to earth and friendly. People have been fleeing the east to Alberta for its freedom from government overreach as well. So, you're out of touch here by a lot. Alberta has deserts, beaches, more gorgeous mountain ranges than BC, farmland, glaciers that never melt despite the globalists so called maniac calls of global warming, as much sunshine as Saskatchewan, forests with many trails and campgrounds, the list goes on. I was born in Ontario, lived in almost every province but by far Alberta is number 1. If you want the juiciest steaks that melt off your fork and onto your tongue it's world best! It's industry is kept here and not finished somewhere else like every other province. Not to mention, farms sell and produce every food and craft beer/ liquor at their gates! Alberta has survived zero taxing its citizens until federal taxes came into here through NDP and Liberals, education is the best in all levels, and the people and governments are more sane and level headed now more than ever. The best rodeos worldwide and festivals count everyday in Edmonton. Who does that? It's self sufficient on its own and is the crown jewel of Canada. It's got multiple canyons all through the rockies! Wapiti are protected and plentiful in parks and if you want the best fudge, go to Jasper! Candy shops fan their delicious aromas down the streets! The most beautiful lakes in the world are in those rockies! The images from mountains are mirrored year round in those numerous lakes! It's picturesque postcard images! Economy is better than others and although rents and costs of homes vary all over you can still get a pretty decent city dwelling or cabin by one of its many cottage home communities that have more to offer for families than any in Ontario with low fees, outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, golfing and more. Then there's West Edmonton Mall where you can spend just window shopping 8 hours of not even going to Fantasyland, Galaxyland and more. \nYou will see men in business suits sitting next to actual cowboys/ girls in bars and restaurants. Edmonton uses goats to trim their weeds and high grasses every summer accompanied by a sheep herder and mosquitoes are ZERO nearly. Then the sunlight doesn't quit until 11pm at night and up again at 5am in summer.\nAlberta has tons to offer.

I think Manitoba should get a better rap than that lolol. We don't have to worry about earthquakes here, there's no hurricanes, and we might get cold in the winter, but as long as that bright sunshine is out, we're good to go. Most of these problems are not just Canadian problems but are immigrant problems and some are just developed nations problems , most people will face them in every country they go to!! The uk, us, Australia mention others are all expensive with just a 0.4 difference! Getting a Canadian passport and moving to another country which is not your native country will solve nothing and it’s not easy to move to a new country unless you have someone to sponsor you!! A Canadian passport will not allow you to work in the US or UK you will need sponsorship for a visa _ all it offers is a free visit visa for about 6 months I guess but not allowed to work! Work visas are complicated and depend more on skills than passport you hold! As a US citizen I can’t work in Canada visa free I can only visit_ the same with Canadians coming to the US or the UK ! \nFor the weather I feel you! We’re lucky In the US cos every type of weather you want you can get it without sacrificing living in a big city But other problems are quite similar everywhere! You have to walk around them and create ways to enjoy the beauty your country has to offer! Running away from from a country your a citizen of cos of loneliness or boredom is not a solution especially when you moving to a country your not even a resident of! Cos establishing residence is never easy unless you have a community there already! Otherwise it will be worse than where your running from!

So I think Canada is ranked 3rd best in the world to live in (I might be wrong but it's top 5 for sure). While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. Not to mention all the multicultural festivals that take place. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Canada is flawed and has its issues. They told me to leave after living in Canada 8yrs had successfull construction business had 8 employees paid taxes for on everything but still I had to go back than re-enter but than I opened up business in my home country and it did wonders and I never thought about going back the cbsa did me a favor I think or I would never have discovered what I was missing
